As good as it gets. -Clear communication -Clean, well-dressed, friendly -Nice touches like email with photo prior to appointment -Better than competitive prices -Considerate of my house, using bootie covers -Work done as expected We had a service window from 8-10, I received an email from Pristine Plumbing that Richard would be coming, with a picture so I knew what he would look like. Nice touch! Richard called me at 8:20AM to tell me he wouldn't make the window -- 10, maybe 10:30 at latest. 10:18 he arrived. In my book, that's good business; we had an appointment, they communicated with me about longer-than-expected jobs making him late, and he arrived in the next window of time, which by the way was only 18 minutes later than the original window. I have had guys just show up 45 minutes late with an "uh, sorry, my first job ran late." Not these guys. Richard came by for an estimate on making the gas line exit behind our stove more shallow so the range could be pushed in all the way. Well dressed, clean, friendly, he even put plastic booties on over his shoes before entering my house. A pretty simple job, he said. We had received email quotes from other companies, but Richard beat it by 10%. Can he do it right now? No problem. Job done. Exactly as planned, stove pushed right up to the wall just how he said it would. After that, he did a quick, free inspection of all of the fixtures under sinks, toilets and in the laundry room. Checked the hot water heater, and the house water pressure. Gave me some tips, and a warning that 5 of our angle stops and water heater should be replaced, with an on-the-spot quote for a very reasonable price, too. And, surprise! Our pressure regulator is busted, and the house pressure is now over 70psi! Imagine a simple water leak with 70 pounds of pressure behind it, yikes! (and yes, our water heater is 12 years old, it's time). Office staff is friendly, and they actually answer the phone! Look, you might get a "better" quote from someone else, but I doubt they'll do as thorough a job, or be as considerate of their surroundings. I had an emergency, on a Saturday, with my upstairs second bathroom, specifically there was no hot water for the bathtub and shower. I freaked out a bit because I thought it was the pipes or something major. In addition, I had out of town guests and needed a plumber quickly. I read the reviews of Pristine Plumbing and Richard and gave him a call. I told him I would be available in the afternoon and he came to my house in the afternoon as promised. I agree with all of the reviews that Richard is a perfectionist, experienced, very detailed, explains things well, keeps his work area clean and has a strong hard work ethic. Quite simply, he is the best plumber I ever had. Also, he is a "green" plumber, which I thought was great. In my opinion, more people in Irvine and surrounding areas should use Pristine Plumbing because we need to support good, hard working and honest plumbers like Richard. In short, Richard fixed the bathtub and shower problem. The hot water was running again. In addition, Richard helped me change the bathtub and shower fixtures and caulked all to perfection. Lastly, Richard honored the special offer on Yelp and gave me $20 off of his services. I was happy and my out of town guests were happy to not have to take a cold shower! I never expected to face water problems twice within a month, the first time was a leak inside the house and this time it was a leak outside the house in the ground. My previous problem was repaired perfectly by Ali from Pristine Plumbing, so I didn't hesitate to ask them to help me with a different problem this time Eddie's team (Ben, Justin, Jeff) and an office backup member from Pristine Plumbing did a super great job. Their job was to find and identify a water leak underground on the border between my house and the HOA's property, and then repair it. They dug deep into the hard soil under the scorching sun, and found the leak. The leak was unfortunately on my property, but Eddie proposed and carried out a reliable and inexpensive repair method to fix it. They were all punctual, well prepared, polite, and even cleaned up perfectly after tidying up. Some people say that low prices are more important than punctuality, proper preparation in advance, polite greetings, and cleaning up afterwards, but I strongly believe that people who neglect punctuality, preparation, greetings, and cleaning up afterwards cannot do a good job. And vice versa. A good worker is someone who is punctual, well prepared, polite, and doesn't cut corners until the end, which ultimately prevents unnecessary expenses. Robert has been my primary contact at Pristine Plumbing. He came out to diagnose a water hammer issue in our school building. He was able to identify the source of the problem & made the necessary repairs to fix the issue which would otherwise have cost us $$$$'s if the pipes had burst. Additionally he was able to fix pipe leaks and pressure regulator in our gas lines that service the water heater, and air conditioning units. After that work was done, a SocalGas Inspector came to check the work and gave it his approval that it was installed correctly. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing and heating needs whether its for your home or commercial property. While they did not offer the service they determined I needed Natalie at the office was very attentive and kept me apprised of when the technician was coming. Jeff, the technician texted me when he was on his way. As a woman, it's very difficult for men to pay attention to what I'm saying, not Jeff he actually listened to what the issue was and all of the things I have done to get to this point. We went over everything and he agreed that it was an underground leak but it's PVC pipes and the don't have the equipment to detect the leak. He suggested I call a company that specializes in leaks. My experience with this company was very good especially since the 4 other guys that came out did not listen to a word I said (because of course they had the answer that was totally wrong) each one and repeating myself at least 5 times and explaining over and over again the issue, said what Jeff said except Jeff was pleasant our interaction was way shorter than the other fools. I had a tub spout problem. Called Pristine Plumbing and a technician, Cameron White, came and did a beautiful job of replacing the spout and shower connection. Three previous plumbers failed to get the job done. This was 8 months ago. Recently the spout came loose again, not because of poor workmanship, but because of poor construction of the unit. Today Cameron came and completely rebuilt the internal construction and took the time to show me what the problem was and how he resolved it. Not only did it get repaired, but there was no charge because it was under warranty, which I wasn't aware of. This review is primarily to give Cameron a huge thank you for being the type of person he is. His personality is perfect in dealing with the public. I called Pristine Plumbing about my garbage disposal and line from the dishwasher. I was able to get an appointment with a two hour window of time for my plumber's arrival. On the scheduled date, I received an email with my plumber's picture and name so I would know who to expect at my house. At the scheduled time, Steve D., arrived at my house and covered his shoes before entering. He looked at the garbage disposal and told me that it was probably covered under warranty. He gave me the manufacturer's phone number and the serial number so I could call the manufacturer. I called them and Steve D. got on the phone with them and described the problems. The person on the phone then told me that the garbage disposal was covered under warranty but I would need to have one of their techs come to the house. Next, Steve D. replaced the hose to the dishwasher and now the dishwasher is working great. Steve D. was prompt and professional. I would definitely call them again. read more

My garbage disposal stopped working and would only make a humming noise when I went to turn it on. I called two other plumbing companies in the area and told them each about the humming noise and each said they could fix it for $80-$85. The one I ended up going with called me 5 minutes after he was supposed to be at my house and told me he was going to be half an hour late so I cancelled his appointment. FINALLY, I called Pristine Plumbing and Richard answered. I told him the same thing about my garbage disposal making a humming noise and instead of scheduling a time to come out and fix it, he simply told me how to fix the garbage disposal over the phone!! Jim Foley and his team did a good job for my new main water line. Everything went smooth as his plan. There was almost no difference before and after on my front yard, except my shiny main valve. I also have learnt a lot from him for plumbing. I'll take his job at sometime! (Just kidding). I did call few companies for quotes on last Saturday evening (03/25). Jim came in first on Sunday morning and gave me a quote in few minutes later. His quote was about the same as my second quote from another company. I called JustinTime Plumbing. They asked for $150 to send a technician over. No free quote. I talked to a lady on the phone, and I had a feeling that she did not want my business. This is a thousand job.
