I was referred to this business by a local Boston Terrier Facebook group. Their reviews were…read morestellar, so I reached out to them. I needed to board my pup while I went on vacation and passed their initial free assessment and complementary play date, filed his health records with them etc. A week later I dropped him off for his week of boarding. When I arrived home I quickly dropped off my luggage and immediately went to pick him up. Once I arrived, excited to see my little dude they brought him out. He was not himself. Not excited, and lethargic. I figured he was just tired from his week of playing with other pups. As soon as I put him in my car he fell asleep, and once home he did the same thing, which for a 6-month-old Boston Terrier is unheard of. The following day was the same, I chalked it up as he must have had a great time playing and was still exhausted. The next day he was extremely ill, coughing, diarrhea and weak so I rushed him to the Vet. Their diagnosis was an upper respiratory infection a fever and Kennel cough. My pup is completely vaccinated and was perfectly healthy when dropped off. I understand things happen, but this was infuriating to me. When I picked him up I was curious why he was just handed to me and shuffled me out the door, now I understand why. That same attitude was received when I called to inform them of his condition. The young lady just said "I'll tell the owner and hung up" and that was it. I wanted to like this place, but on top of their boarding fees, I now have medical bills due to their facility and lack of action when he was clearly sick while there, due to an illness he contracted while there, and hopefully, he recovers soon. The photo attached is him once loaded in the car after picking him up. Clearly not a 6 mo old Boston excited to see me after a week away. I am beside myself, and angry to say the least.

He is a high-energy, playful dog, but we've taken him to other daycares without any issues and have always been told that his energy level is completely manageable. I understand that every daycare has different policies and that staff need to keep all of the dogs safe, but it's upsetting to pay for daycare and find out that my dog is spending his time separated rather than being allowed to play and socialize. If they don't feel they can accommodate an energetic dog, I wish that had been communicated to us upfront instead of continuing to accept him for daycare. Overall, I just don't feel like my dog is welcomed or treated kindly here, and that's not how I want to feel when leaving him somewhere that I'm trusting to care for him. We'll be taking him elsewhere going forward. I would recommend looking into other options. I highly recommend Pet Play House or Second Home Pet Resort.

My dog was involved in a serious incident with another dog while in their care. I was told by 24/7 Dogs that the incident was not my dog's fault, but despite my repeated concerns, they would not allow me to see the video of what actually happened. That was a huge problem for me. If something happens to my dog while he is in your care--especially something serious enough to involve another dog--I believe I should be able to understand exactly what happened. Instead, I was expected to accept their explanation while being denied access to the footage that could have shown me for myself. When I pushed the issue and spoke publicly about my concerns, the response wasn't greater transparency. I was served with a cease-and-desist letter from an attorney. Two years later, that is still what bothers me most about the experience. Dogs can't tell us what happened to them. We depend on the people caring for them to be transparent when something goes wrong. I'm sharing my personal experience so other owners can make their own decision. If you're considering leaving your dog here, I would ask very specifically what happens if your dog is involved in an incident, whether you will be allowed to see available video, and how the company handles owners who question what happened. Based on my experience, I would never trust my dogs to this company again.

I brought in her vaccination records, they got everything taken care of, and took her right back. They even fed her while she was there. The best review honestly came from Moose herself. When I picked her up after the first day, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time. When we came back the second morning, as soon as she realized where we were, her tail started going like crazy and she walked right up to the staff. That immediately made me feel good about leaving her again. Both days she came back to us happy and completely relaxed. Even my son looked at her and said, "she must've had a really good time, she's smiling" Finding a place you feel comfortable leaving your dog when you're traveling can be stressful, and they made it incredibly easy. Moose clearly loved it there, and that's about the best recommendation I can give. We would absolutely use them again if we're back in the area!
