I love it here. They always have the cutest items! This is my go-to spot for gifts and when I need a last minute outfit :)

Thoughtfully curated boutique, but seriously lacking quality customer service. I've made a couple purchases from here since last year. Usually I browse online and if I like something I'll stop in and make the purchase. The last two times I opted for curbside pick-up, both times I didn't get an answer when calling the store upon arrival and had to enter the store for my purchase. This past time finally did it for me though. My order was ready at 12:46pm 7/13/21 on a Tuesday. I called, the phone fully rang and no answer. I headed inside and entered a completely quiet and empty store, you could hear a pin drop, honestly. Eventually someone came to help and when I grabbed my order I asked about their Lack of Color brand hats, and whether they carried all size options in store. She said we have all the sizes. Well they didn't, I was hoping to try the XL in the bucket hat and that isn't available, nor do they carry that option. Also at no point was I offered any help, not even with bringing down the hats off the hat hooks etc. I couldn't even reach one because it was a struggle so I didn't bother to even try it. I finally decided on one, headed to make my purchase. As the girl was about to begin ringing me up, another staff member comes walking out of the back with a mug of coffee or tea casually sipping, interrupts the girl helping me to let her know she'll take over and she can take her break. She's as slow as a sloth at this point, I asked her if they happened to have the beige color in the hat I was buying and she gave me the indirect "we have whatever is on the floor". Then she must of decided she doesn't want to ring me up and brings back the first girl, who was already helping me, to complete my purchase. This girl was either high, or really overly almost shamelessly laidback at her job. I went ahead and bought the $98 hat, not because I wanted to support a small business and its staff, at this point I was past that, but because it was so much effort and I genuinely wanted it. Now to top it all off I head home and come to find out, The beige option was available, in both terry and canvas!! Really? That is beyond annoying. The clothes in this store can honestly sell itself, and the staff at this point just feels like a hurdle your jumping over to be able to comfortably shop here. read more

Spent a just under four hundred dollars here with a friend this week. Bought a pair of shoes and wore them the next day. They were too small and so so painful. Only lasted 10 mins and had to go home to change shoes. Took them back to exchange two days later but they didn't have the next size up. They wouldn't return them for store credit, or do anything. I had the receipt and tags. Cute store but that's so disappointing to treat a new customer this way. Won't be back. Anyone want a free pair of cute size 10 sandals? read more

Cutest boutique in Southern California hands-down. Kindest women that work there, and super friendly. Amazing vibes and aesthetic. I had an issue with a missing packaged and boom, fixed within a week. I'll be shopping here frequently. Amazing people. read more

If you are paranoid of Covid, come shop here. Seriously, they rope off the entrance like a nightclub, and they take your temperature before coming in. But it gets even crazier. After they take your temperature they require you to wash your hands with their sanitizer like a little 2-year old and then they require you to put on rubber gloves!!!! OMG, really? I've been to doctors offices, hospitals, government offices and more during Covid and never once have I been asked to wear rubber gloves. This is such a joke. If the owner is so paranoid of Covid maybe she shouldn't open her doors. Once inside, they have some cute stuff. Sort of reminds me of of an anthropology store. But pricey. I felt like things were overpriced. And the Covid paranoid staff was just too much of a distraction to truly shop with enjoyment. PS ... and in a twist of irony, the staff who works there doesn't wear rubber gloves but they want shoppers entering the store to wear them! What the heck? Will not return. read more

I can't say enough great things about Prism. I've been a customer for years. They focus on high-quality, cruelty-free, small-business, community-based products. They always have killer sales, and their clothing caters to a variety of styles and body types. Everything I've bought there has lasted many seasons, and makes me feel very pretty. The atmosphere inside the store is calming, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. When I order from home, their deliveries arrive quickly and without hassle. I should have written this a long time ago, but I feel compelled to counteract the nastiness of some Covid-denying moron (You know almost 2 million people have died from it worldwide in less than a year, right? That's why conscientious businesses are taking precautions seriously. Facepalm). Giving a business one star--because it cares about the safety of not only its clientele, but the safety of literally everyone they come into contact with--speaks to the level of delusional selfishness and entitlement that is luckily in the minority here (at least here in Long Beach). Science is real. support small businesses. Prioritize lives over minor inconveniences. Thanks! read more

Prism Boutique is one stop shop to get your gifting done or your personal shopping. Beautifully curated from local and small makers. The store is always merchandised beautifully and very appealing to shop easily. It's such a great presentation for our Long Beach community. It's always so exciting for me to stop by to Prism to see what's new. Absolute favorite shop in LB! read more

I wanted to support the small and local business . When I arrived the door was locked . The sales girl came over and told me that they need to lock the door to regulate the amount of customers that come in . I found that odd since there was no one in the store shopping . But ok I understand with the Covid . Then she told me that she needed to take my temperature I said ok fine. Then she told me that she was going to give me gloves to wear to shop in the store . Just tell me straight up temp and gloves are required to enter the store . Put a sign on the door and save yourself from making contact . That will keep you safer . Could have said hello and welcome for starters in a friendly tone . Would have liked to support but just didn't get a good vibe . read more

I do not shop often. And if you saw me you'd know you shouldn't take fashion advice from me. But I'm still picky. And I am committed to what I like. I've been after a very specific pair of earrings for over six months now. Rebecca and this crew of women are the best! They got me what I was after within 48 hrs!!! They called me back as promised, i returned to the store and there the jewelry was. That was so stellar service and follow through! They made me feel extremely welcome at their store and I will 100% be back. Thank you! read more

Hahahah all girls claiming no acknowledgment are cracking me up. This is actually what I really like (I don't need them to hold my hand or ask me about my day, no one caaaaaares about your day k?). They let you do your thing, if you need their help they happily help you. I actually really like this about this boutique. They def. aren't right behind you, breathing down your neck or giving you fake ass smiles, I appreciate the space. Helps me feel relaxed not rushed and not expected to buy anything. Prices are quite steep but quality is great. Have purchased jewelry that was not real silver and which claimed it was. The girls were so sweet and allowed me to exchange product and were extremely nice and apologetic about it. Attended one of their store parties and when my best friend and I asked if we could open champagne they were encouraging and delighted we asked. Thanks prism! read more

If this was a review based just upon items I received I'd give 5 stars BUT that is not the case here.. I ordered two pairs of sandals And a candle and only received ONE pair of sandals in my box. I reached out VIA email and was told that on their end the weight of the box matched what I should be and there is nothing they can do? Ummmmmmmm, I don't have my entire order, how is that right? I won't order from here again, maybe they have employees who aren't entirely honest. read more

The swimsuit I ordered online was not as pictured - the color online looks like a dark yellow and when I received it, it was a yellow-green color that was not what I expected. While the swimsuit seem like it was great quality, I then found out that they do not offer refunds whatsoever and on top of that, charged me a return fee. My own fault for not researching the return policy on their website, but that doesn't excuse the bad practice. Customer service is everything and I would never shop at a place that locks me into any purchase I make. Now I have to spend $200 on something else that I don't need, when really I should just get a refund. You are robbing people - change your policy please. read more

I wasn't aware of an event at Prism Boutique until I saw it on my Instagram feed. It was a cute event with several of the stores participating. My main object was that I also saw #mackkansalsa on my instagram feed. OMG I know he makes a great salsa I have been a customer for quite sometime. I am not a vegan I don't knock anybody who is, he had his jackfruit taco, beans & rice all vegan. It was great to be able to try #mackkanveganfood. Will definitely return to Prism Boutique to do some Retail Therapy very soon read more

Prism is the best boutique in Long Beach! Dayna curates the best selection of clothing, jewelry, home goods and more. The staff is always friendly and sweet, so helpful in getting you exactly what you are looking for. During quarantine, Prism has been key in getting unique gifts for friends and family with a super easy contactless pickup option. I'll always be a fan of Prism! read more

This was my first time back since Covid began. I was a little nervous at first, but I love how they're making health and priority! Everyone is wearing masks, they take your temp and the door, and give you gloves. So I felt good going in! And of course as always the staff was lovely and super helpful. Was able to find some home goods to freshen things up! Highly suggest visiting and checking it out. You won't be disappointed! read more

This is literally my favorite boutique of all time. I've been shopping here since they had their first tiny location and even though I live in San Diego, I come up for events and to shop. If I'm driving up to LA, my first thought is whether or not I'll have time to make a quick stop in Long Beach to shop at Prism. They curate amazing vintage and the cutest home goods on top of the cutest clothes. Their staff is super friendly and will help you out with pulling together outfit options. Shopping at Prism is an actual experience. Something you just don't find anywhere else. read more

I am originally from Long Beach, moved to Seattle about 5 years ago. I used to go into their OG shop and it was my GO TO for events, weddings, bathing suits, essentially any time I wanted to look rull rull cute. Since we have been confined at home I started looking more online at what they have in stock. I have put in two separate orders and I am SO impressed. It was the perfect number of email updates, the shipping was super quick, and every item I received has been exceptional in quality and said cuteness. Typically I am not an online shopper but I will continue shopping from Prism and getting wondering shipments in the mail. To the team there- ya'll are nailing it! Keep it up and thanks for the great customer service. read more

Definitely a cute store but they have terrible return policy and they don't make it clear that sale items are final sale. Bought something online then got screwed when it didn't fit and I couldn't return it. Pretty disappointing when you're a regular customer then can't return something expensive you bought on sale read more

What a cute little boutique in such a cute little neighborhood in Belmont Shore. Nicely curated and carry great brands I love.

I'm an LB native and have been shopping at Prism since it opened its doors. This awesome little store has been a breath of fresh air to the Long Beach scene and my go to when I need an outfit for a shower, concert, etc. Prism carries a thoughtful array of designers and accessories that fit every style and body type. And can we talk about the customer service? Prism's owner, Dayna, is so amazingly friendly and makes you feel so welcome the minute you enter the store. The staff is highly knowledgeable and very attentive. Prism is my happy place read more

My favorite gifts come from here and it's truly a gem!! Go there!! read more

Insulted, insulted, walked in, three sales girls working. Two behind the counter , did not acknowledge my presence!! Girls had their eyes glued to thee phone. Finally, I said ,"should I leave?" Finally one semi acknowledged me. While the other one sighed, gave me the dirtiest look, turned around and left.... I needed to purchase some clothes my daughter had already picked out on line. I purchased a few items. I could not wait to pay and leave. All I can say is I will never allow my family, friends to shop at Prism again. I'm a Believer in shop local!!!! But, Not Prism!!!!! Bye, read more

I'm not usually into small boutiques like these, but Prism really stood out to me and I had to share my thoughts. I have to admit, right before walking in I assumed the prices would be sky high as they typically tend to be in small shops like these. I'm super cheap and I can honestly say it is really affordable. Some items can be steeper, of course. A great variety however. Employees are also very helpful and funny. Very accommodating in a non-annoying way. Definitely stop by if there is a sidewalk sale. Also the building itself is very chic, it has this nice 1970's beachy sort of style (I know that sounds a bit cliche, but both the exterior and interior are in a style that's becoming harder and harder to find and I can really appreciate it). Overall Prism is cool, go check it out. read more

The best boutique in Long Beach. I started following them on Instagram months before moving to Long Beach to find out they're walking distance from my bf house! I love the staff and the owner Dayna. She has a fantastic crew. She's an inspirational woman with a bad ass sense of style, both beauty and life. I love everything Prism has to offer. I wish y'all can open a boutique here in Monterey. I miss y'all. read more

I fully endorse this small business to anyone asking where to shop in Southern California. This is a one of kind boutique! read more

Love prism with all our heart. It's right in our neighborhood and they have the friendliest staff and best selection of items :)

I have only shopped online, but the person I spoke to via email was incredibly helpful. I bought some great pants that just didn't fit, and they offered an exchange for me in another size. They were patient with me, as I shipped out the too-small pants back a little later than I expected. They sent me the better size the same week, and were always so nice. I need to make it down to Long Beach to visit the store, but in the meantime, I will continue to shop on their site! read more
