Place is fuckin hack...best meatball sandwich? They were frozen from a bag...HACK! really not worth the drive from winter plaza lol

Stopped into this incredible gem of a place today with a friend of mine. I enjoyed the Pilgrim, which is pictured, and was probably the best sandwich I've ever had (thank you Nancy!!) Steve gave us a tour of the grounds as it was our first time there, and made us feel like family immediately. I took home a cannoli pie, which I had never heard of... Thankfully it was recommended, as it was amazing!! The hospitality we received was unmeasurable and something everyone should experience. Can't wait to return Wednesday to try some more great food, and take home some candy!!! read more

Love this place!!! It is one of the best places in Bridgewater to bring your family. We have always loved their ice cream and didn't know about the other amenities in the back. They started serving wood fired pizza today and because I live down the street I was waiting for it. I got a pepperoni pizza from the new brick oven and it was excellent. For a first day of serving, I was blown away by the quality. Place is kinda hidden out back, but once you know where it is, it is worth coming back. Had the north shore sandwhich which is outstanding, this place has everything you can think of! Disappointed. I stopped in on the recommendation of a friend. I love to support small businesses. I walked up the the counter to order a dessert and the girl (who I later found out was the owner, Nancy) got my dessert for me. I decided to take a look around. I bought some gourmet sauces and mixes. One of them was a Stonewall kitchen donut mix. I stood at the counter for at least 5 mins while the three women in the back occasionally looked up at me and continued with their conversation. Very strange way for small business employees to act. I paid for my items and left. A few days later I made the donuts for my kids. I took a bite of one and they had a weird taste... Almost sour. They had expired two months ago! Yuck I called Prisco's to let them know. The owner Nancy's response was "mmmkay what do you want ME to do"? She blamed Stonewall for the expired product and told me "I can't check every label on the shelves". Gross, maybe you should! The owner had such a rude/defensive attitude. Anyway, she said she'd send me a refund in the mail. I have her my name... Spelling my last name since it is difficult and my address Take a look in the pictures! She addressed the refund to "douche" and the last three letters of my last name. This is absolutely embarrassing behavior from a grown woman and small business owner. Stopped in based on a recommendation. We were greeted at the door by Steve the owner,and promptly given a full tour! We were even given sample of his favorite dishes. The place is quirky, and awesome. Steve is the man, and the food is outstanding. You can Christmas shop, take some chops in the batting cages, eat a sub, and finish it off with a come all in one stop. Perfect family place. The ice cream is right on the road. My family really likes the Ice cream offered at Priscos. Especially the coffee Oreo. It is requested on a regular basis in my house.. With other local ice cream shops in the area that my kids could ask for with side attractions. I think it shows how much they like it One thing I have noticed is there lack of coordination and ability to deal with any amount of customers. We have been there with no one else in line and service has been slow.. We have been there behind some other customers and they lack coordination to deal with multiple orders. Tonight we stood in line with 14 other customers waiting "already paid customers" that were held hostage because they already paid. Luckily we hadn't got our chance to order. When one of the three workers ran out to give a order to woman that had retreated to her car to only be met with that she did t have the order correct. We decided to leave. I feel bad for the rest of everyone stuck in limbo. My reason for writing this review is so the owners who apparently have asked every neighbor, family member, and passerby to review on this app will see they do have a good product that my family enjoys. The investment by them to the proper help and training will be detrimental to there success. read more

Steve and Nancy have the best place in town. I was able to find some fantastic gifts that I've never seen any place else. I have to disagree with some of the comments that say the store is overwhelming and confusing. I find the "super stores" to be that way but not Prisco's. Plus, if I have any questions I don't have to walk around the store for hours looking for an associate. Steve is right there behind the counter offering his help with a smile. He loves to see people happy. I love the gourmet sauces and mixes. I don't have to walk down aisles and aisles of items like I do in the supermarket. There is a great variety in a small area. Nancy's sauce and meatballs are the best!! I could pay less somewhere else but they wouldn't be as good. You get what you pay for and I want to enjoy my meal. The calzones are the most delicious ones I've ever had. I ordered 2 calzones last year for a meeting and before I knew it there was nothing left but sounds of, "Mmmmmm" coming from everyone in the room. The calzones are the hit of any gathering. You do have to order them a day in advance because everything is made to order and it is so worth it. I can't possibly describe all the fun and unique things that Prisco's has to offer so you'll just have to go in and see for yourself. They do close in January for a well deserved rest but there are plans to open an ice cream stand in the near future so be on the lookout for that! I'll be in on Monday to pick up my order of meatballs, sauce, rolls and a steak and cheese calzone for Christmas Eve. "A true gem!" I met Steve and his wife when I recently stopped in for the first time to this gem of a place. There is something for everyone, yet I have to definitely recommend the food! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! A must-have is pasta with the homemade meatballs and sauce. I make my own sauce, and meatballs, and usually shy away from this eating out, even at "fine dining" Italian restaurants. However, Steve had my friend and I try a meatball in sauce. Wow! I was impressed! We will definitely be back and I will use them also for catering! Our sandwiches, which we ordered before sampling the unbelievably delicious meatballs were HUGE, fresh and terrific. Check out the store behind the out-front eatery/ice cream area. My father, my husband and I went mini golfing here and it was so much fun! You can tell that it's well cared for, it's extremely clean, and the landscaping is beautiful. We went inside the store and there were many fun and interesting things. We met the owner who was delightful. He is very passionate about his business. He provided samples of their meatballs, which my family enjoyed throughly (I'm vegan so I wasn't able to try them.). Going to Prisco's was a very enjoyable experience. We had a recent family lunch gathering to celebrate the relaxing of Covid protocols, and we ordered a bunch of food from Prisco's. We had several reubens, tuna melts, burgers and the "world famous" meatball provolone subs. The best among these were the reubens. Only LaGrassa in Boston makes a better grilled reuben, and the last time I bought some they were $18 a pop... although it is a huge and delicious sandwich. At Prisco the reubens are $10 but they're much smaller and not quite as delicious... but still very good. Everything else was good. I was a bit disappointed in the "world famous" meatball provolone. It was about the same as Subways meatball provolone, which is really good but I don't know about world famous good. read more

I've tried the Maine Blueberry & Dutch Apple icecream. I ordered a small both times and it was more than enough. The icecream is the best around! Very flavorful & delicious!!! Highly recommend it!! Great service too:) I tried the fresh home made apple fudge today & brought some to work with me. This is by far the BEST fudge I have ever tried, it has pieces of apple in it. All of my coworkers raved about it and it was gone in a few minutes! The chocolate fudge was also very delicious. I recently ordered catering for a party and Steve, the owner, was extremely helpful in planning out the menu. Each experience I have had so far has been exceptional! I first became a lawn care customer of Steve's primarily because I was impressed by his knowledge and his no-bs answers to my questions. Having been here before I knew what to expect and was NOT disappointed! This was my husband's first time to Prisco's and it most certainly won't be his last. We had the Margherita pizza and is was AMAZING! The sauce is to die for and the crust was perfect! Steve was so kind and welcoming and we didn't feel rushed to leave. Just played miniature golf at Prisco's. Great family fun and great counter service. Went downhill when we went and got ice cream. One customer in front of us who ordered 1 cone. We ordered 2 ice cream cones. It took 35 minutes from the time we got in line until we got ice cream. Would understand if it was busy but 2 Stafford 30 minutes to make 3 ice cream cones..... read more

It's refreshing to see a local and family owned business with so much to offer. Played a round of mini golf today and was greeted by Steve - what a funny guy. He was very friendly set us up for golf and told us to check out the market on our way out. The market and deli are in a huge space the menu looks amazing. We were given a sample of the meatballs and they were delicious. I would recommend the food and company any time. The mini golf course was clean, challenging and overall entertaining. Being raised in Bridgewater my entire life, it may seem odd that I JUST made my first trip into Prisco's Market & Deli just a few minutes before closing on December 22nd, in a mad rush for a last minute Christmas tree. Unknown to Mr Prisco, In my first year as a single mom, I had made the difficult decision, against my own personal beliefs, to post a "gofundme" just a week prior, in a desperate attempt to give my 3 beautiful daughters an amazing night Christmas. A brief explanation, this May my girls and I left our family home, and I left my marriage to their father, for our safety. Since we relocated back to my hometown area of Bridgewater, we have all thrived and are slowly getting on our feet. I'm working 2-3 jobs to make ends meet and had an incredible outpouring of support from my family and friends via my gofundme. We walked into Prisco's Market as Mr Prisco was sweeping up ready to close. My heart fell into my stomach. I didn't want to be THAT customer that walks in right as you're walking out, with of course a huge request! I need a Christmas tree! I apologized for the time, and asked him about the trees he had left and their prices. Mr Prisco, not knowing any of our story, so generously paused, and said "please, take any tree you want, and take your family to dinner, on us." I was absolutely speechless. As if this weren't enough, my 7 year old daughter had come in with me, and hadn't taken her eyes off the candy table since we walked in the store! Mr Prisco spoiled her and let her pick anything she wanted! As if ALL of this weren't enough, our family loves the PATRIOTS! I'm one of those New England girls that screams at the TV and can be heard within a 10 mile radius during game time, and I'm raising 3 little girls just like me lol! After our separation, watching the games are something my girls and I could do, for free, together, every week (during season of course). My oldest daughter Carrie-Anne is the only one old enough to understand the game etc, but she's just as obsessed as we are. It's some of our favorite time together. Imagine this little girls face when Mr. Prisco comes outside to help us with our tree choice, and asks Carrie-Anne if she likes the Patriots. UMMMM. YAAAAAA! Her eyes popped out of her head, and she looked at me, as if she were thinking "MOM!! He knows the Patriots too!!" He continued "Do you know the running back Brandon Bolden? He was just here this weekend! I wonder if THATS what he meant!" He hurried off back into the store and came back a few minutes later with a signed picture of our boy Bolden, with the personalized "to Carrie-Anne". "NOW it makes sense! He told me he was leaving this for Carrie-Anne and she would be here in a couple days! This is for you!" I'm still not sure who was more excited. My daughter, or myself. GO PATS!! Mr Prisco. Thank you for being an incredible, and generous person. I can tell a genuine soul when I see one, and I can't thank you enough for the smile that you put on our faces that night. You extended the incredible blessings we've received this season, and there are no words to truly express my gratitude. We are so looking forward to visiting Prisco's again, and supporting a home town business that takes care of people. read more

Prisco's is the hidden gem of places to grab a great sub in Bridgewater. It's location is not exactly the easiest to find however if you find yourself on route 18 heading in or out of Bridgey you have to drop in. My personal favorite thing to get is the gobbler which is your traditional thanksgiving sandwich (turkey, mayo, cran, and GRAVY!). Have never left Prisco's hungry and the family owned business is operated by the friendliest people. Also they've got ice cream, mini golf and batting cages to make your stay even better. Ohh yea and if you are a Boston sports fan they have so much Masshole memorabilia along with other unique items inside. What a little hidden gem! Right back off rt 18 in Bridgewater sits Prisco's. It doesn't look like much from the street but once you pull down the long gravel driveway you are in for a treat. This amazing shop has everything you can imagine. It's like a general store from the old days mixed with a great market mixed with a killer pizza/sub place. From metal tin signs for your man cave to candy you can't find any more, this place has it all. The food is amazing, prices were reasonable, and the staff super nice. Kids had a blast playing mini golf and batting cages, then we even grabbed some burgers and Dom's steak tips to take home to grill! Will definitely be back! read more

Just stopped here for a quick bite between soccer games. Place is super cute and the italian sub was amazing. Service was friendly and quick.
