This family owned and operated Candy store has it all and yes even harder to find items can be found here pretty much year round however they welcome customized orders that have been made to your specific liking!! This place doesn't disappoint and the prices are more than reasonable especially when you take into consideration all of the fine ingredients, time and love that goes into everything they have to offer. It is my absolute favorite candy shop on the entire planet and I highly recommend stopping by or if that's not possible for you than just place an order for delivery!! You definitely won't be sorry that you did!! They'll ship it wherever whenever you want it and the presentation is just as glorious as the treats are!! I don't know how anyone can give Priscilla's anything less than 5 stars my family has been coming here for generations every holiday my grandmother would get all kinds of chocolate she would spend time adding things to hang them from the Christmas tree get chocolate and white eggs for Easter I always get my dad chocolate for his birthday and Christmas now I get them for my daughter also by far the best chocolate around. Taking a walk around historic Gardner, stumbled upon this absolute gem of a candy shop. Most of what they have is made right there in the spotless kitchen, which you can see through glass viewing windows. Service is absolutely stellar. They have some very unique items, such as sour lobster shaped gummies. Also, they have the classic truffles and assorted chocolates. I bought gifts and some for myself. Chocolates are fresh and good. I most highly recommend unless you are on a severe diet and have a sweet tooth. In such a case, steer clear! Otherwise stop in fora chat and a treat, while picking up presents for those unlucky enough to not be there. read more

Wonderful selection of candies! Shopped here for the holidays. Found something for everyone on my list: dark chocolate covered blueberries, variety boxes from small to grand sizes, caramels, solid chocolates in all kinds of shapes and designs, and the French roll was fabulous! I stopped in there today to buy there penuche fudge and it came in a white box when I opened the box there was no plastic wrap around the fudge so the fudge was rock hard. I understand them wanting to cut back maybe but they totally ruined there fudge. Who wants to eat rock hard dried up fudge which could be prevented by wrapping it in plastic wrap and then boxing it. This is a great small, local candy store in Gardner! This is where my family usually buys chocolate for the holidays for stockings and gift boxes for co-workers and friends. Tried this place yesterday for the first time and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. They had a nice selection of homemade case chocolates. Then came the true test the tasting and these chocolates were actually really delicious!! They were very creamy and had really good flavors. I tried quite a few and was impressed with all of them. This place is great! They have wonderful chocolates and candies. They make all the Holidays and special occasions just that....very special. If your lucky enough to get there on a candy making day you can watch them make wonderful tantalizing mouthfuls of sweets. At Christmas time I watched them making large candy canes. Love this place!!!!! They still make their chocolate in the back of the store, and it is super delicious. Priscilla's is a little, family owned business that I have been getting my candy at since I was a kid. They still make my favorite- the French Roll!!!! Talk about melt-in-your-mouth yumminess. Will never go here again. I keep giving them another chance because they're a small local business, and the only candy store in the area -- but never fails to disappoint! The staff on a recent Saturday consisted of three apathetic, disengaged, snippy teen girls who apparently were miffed to have to wait on my friend and me. They were completely clueless about the products sold when questioned about specific items and severely lacking in both knowledge of what they were selling as well as manners. We were treated abruptly and rudely without a smile or a thank you for forking over our hard earned dollars. If you are going to leave your business in the hands of young people, you should make certain they are well trained and at least make a tiny effort to be personable. The girl who waited on my friend was downright rude & had no idea what a "truffle" is. There were a few measly pieces of fudge in the display case, and when I asked if it was fresh and when it was made, the salesgirl assured me everything was very freshly made. I asked if I might taste it, and was told they don't offer samples. I have never been to a shop that will not allow customers a taste of their homemade fudge. My friend & I each bought over a pound @ $12./lb. Back at home an hour later, I attempted to bite into a piece of Penuche fudge and nearly broke my tooth. It was hard as a rock, crystallized outside and stale inside. I was very upset (especially at having been outright lied to) and wonder if the owners can understand my frustration! I called the shop and told the girl who answered I was returning for a refund. I was told they "could not do that," I would have to call back on Monday to speak to an owner/manager. I left my information and am STILL waiting for a return phone call. Update: owner finally called back & offered to replace my fudge. I drove to the shop a week later (it's difficult for me to get there during the week due to work schedule), and the sales clerks refused to give me a replace my, stating my receipt was too old. read more

I witnessed today a most inappropriate customer service at the store in Gardner.The women (perhaps the owner) was very rude and inconsiderate to a customers needs..not helpful to help make a shopping experience that should be fun and satisfying..gave the impression she...the clerk...did not have the time to serve and left the customer very frustrated and regret the ride to Gardner...certainly there can't be another reason to go near THAT town !!! I heard that the young lady there was in training...I hope she learned a lesson on how NOT to serve a customer..she'll never make it othewise...last time there...hope the candies are a fraction as good as the service !!! read more
