Called the dealership to see if I could see a specific model of car I wanted. They said two were available. Took the afternoon off work to check it out. Neither of the two cars I had sought to see were available. Turns out they use a call center service that has no clue what's actually going on. Don't waste your time with this place. read more

this will be the 4th time I have been here for the free oil change service for my car. Each time I have made an appointment, and each time, I have waited about 2 hours. When you walk in, nobody looks up from their desk to greet you - you could stand around any length of time and no one will say a word. they are unfriendly and definitely not over accommodating and clearly overbook car service appointments on a daily basis. Don't go here. read more

DONT BUY THE ROAD HAZARD TIRE REPLACEMENT PLAN! They will advert it when you buy a car. I fell for the trap and the moment I got a flat, it's "we'll call you back." Or "A rep will be with you shortly." 3 days... 3 days of reaching out non stop and nothing. Waste of money, focus is to help paying customers, not ones that paid already. read more

Update 14 August 2023: I continue to be a customer of Priority Toyota's Service Department because they have always treated me well. My truck is now in the high mileage category and at 11 years of age under my ownership, starting to require some maintenance beyond standard oil/fluid/tire rotations. I never have an issue acquiring adequate explanations of the maintenance recommendations as well as risk assessments to assist in my decision making. I've had several service reps over the years, and my current rep, Nadir is awesome. He communicates well, with timely important updates and answers all my questions. He also looks for ways to keep costs reasonable. Trust can be hard to come by in a dealership setting, but I'm probably as close as I have ever been right now. Thank you for the continued great experience. ‐--------------------- 2019: I have been a customer of Priority Toyota for over two years and there are alot of good folks there who are very welcoming and treat you with respect by explaining their services and giving you options. Ms. Dana Pablo is an excellent service advisor who I trust to take care of my vehicle. Thank you. read more

Maryland buyers beware, this location's inspection will not pass the MD test. They check the bare minimum for a pass and sells the vehicle "As is" to avoid repairing any issues found by the real inspectors. Don't trust their inspectors and take the vehicle on a test drive to a MD inspection station if you think there's no other dealer or car available for you in the area Update: we took the vehicle to a Toyota dealership in MD to inspect and they found the same issue Priority Toyota neglected to fix. As stated earlier, buyers beware. read more

Terrible costumer service. Keep an eye on when bringing your car for service. They try to upsell you and scam you for unneeded services.

My experience with Priority Toyota Springfield was mixed until about a year or two ago. First, when I purchased my 2019 Camry, I could never get anyone to show me the tutorial of the "bells & whistles" my car has. The car wasn't used much due to the COVID shutdown. But, during the time, my sunroof broke. Toyota fixed it, and it broke again during the warranty period. Unfortunately, I reported it just after due to health and care taking issues in my household. I was given the option to pay half and Priority would cover the other half. Once I got the funds I went in for service and Priority has now changed owners/management. I've been back several times in the past year and can't get in touch with the manager Fabio to even discuss my options now. So, frustrated that I can never talk to anyone because they're not in when I go for service. read more

If it was not for the location, I'd be going some where else probably. Just went in for simple service which ended up over complicated again. The mechanic video they sent was not clear to me cause the video settings are defaulted to mute and I also found out later it uses the other speaker on iPhone, last time I was using headphones but I didn't bring it this time. So instead of trying to fumble around with the video site options. I went over to service rep to ask clarification, he seemed to not answer my question directly whether the inspections passed or not and so I just said to do whatever to pass inspection. He then got me to approve service for brakes cause he says it is safer which after sitting back down I tried to navigate that annoying site again but it's better than nothing I guess, but I noticed it's just a recommended service. I was kind of on the clock so kind of annoying to wait, but I didn't want them to stop working if they already started either since it was already approved. And while I'm lucky enough to afford the cost and think "well at least it's safer. ". It was very uncool, and I don't think a lot of other people would appreciate it. I get a sense of pressure to make a higher sale at that place that I don't like. Proper response should have been just a simple "you passed the inspections, but this is what we recommend (fill in the blank)." Also the video site needs to be better optimized for mobile or something. The text of services recommended was too buried and the video was hard to navigate for sound without headphones. I think I'm gonna try a different place next maintenance time, personally. While I don't think the work is terrible, I am getting the feeling there is too much pressure for sales and miscommunication at the place about sales and so it just feels off for me personally. Cause this is twice now that I dont feel good after dealing with priority. Anyway, work isn't bad, but I feel like communication could be better and the technology could be somewhat improved. read more

I purchased a 2020 Toyota Rav-4 from Priority Toyota Springfield on Saturday, August 23rd. When I first arrived to the dealership, I was greeted by a salesman by the name of Will. Will got my information and ran my credit report. Since it was not very strong, he showed me only 1 option of a vehicle that I could purchase. I asked him if there were any other cars that I could choose from, he told me no. So I went outside to leave. While waiting outside, another salesman approached me by the name of Peter. Peter helped me with purchasing the Rav-4 but it was all a scam. After leaving the dealership on that Saturday, I was pleased with the outcome. On Friday, August 29th I went out of town for the holiday weekend. While out of town, my brakes began grinding and screeching. I emailed Peter (my once beloved salesman) to let him know that the car was having some issues with the brakes. I never received a response from him. I took the vehicle back to the dealership on Tuesday, September 2nd to have the dealership fix the problem. I spoke with the service manager and he told me that since I purchased the car "As Is" that I would be responsible for the repairs. Confused, I asked him why couldn't the dealership make the repairs since I just purchased the car less than one week ago. Obviously the brakes were not in great condition when I purchased the car. He told me that they do not have to sell used cars with new brakes, they just have to be able to pass inspection. I asked him if there was anything that could be done because it was very odd to have to make repairs on a car that I purchased less than one week prior, and clearly the brakes could not have gone from being able to pass inspection to now not being able to pass after only one week. He told me that he could offer to pay 50% of the repairs and I cover the other 50%. At this point, I was trying to return the car altogether and void the deal. He told me that it was too late, since all the paperwork had been filed and all of the taxes and tags had been handled. In summary, DO NOT EVER purchase or give any money to this shady and unethical dealership. They do not care about their customers and they will try to get over on you if you are not vigilant. I am disappointed with all of the people over there. Shout out to Sheehy Honda of Alexandria for helping get into a much better vehicle. read more

Don't ever take you car or suv here for service. Prices are inflated by irresponsible service workers. Customer service is abysmal just to check out. Bought our Toyota highlander hybrid here in 2017 and got the priorities for life service plan which includes free oil changes and tire rotation as long as you own the vehicle and bring it there for service. Sales experience was very good as I remember but service is another matter. You really need to pay attention or they will rip you off. For example, they charge at least twice for tires what Costco or other tire places charge, and yesterday they told me the car needed a tune up for $1500. I called my local mechanic and he found that they had already done this service at 60k and it wasn't due until 120k. What was worse though is that the tune up should not have cost more than $500 NOT $1500! My wife also had to get a loaner car from them when she brought the car in for service last year and they tried to make her pay for a full refill for gas even though she had hardly used any and had topped it off. Definitely not going there for service again. read more

Had a great buying experience here for my Husband's car. Since visiting for services on both my highlander (also bought from a priority) and my husbands, have had poor experiences. The sales dept here is shockingly bad. You can't believe what they tell you they have in inventory, and you can't believe what they tell you is "on the way". The sales people have no idea what they are selling, or how to sell. If they tell you to come in and ask for the "VIP Desk", just laugh. We went in and asked, as directed, and no one in the showroom had ever heard of it. There are serious management issues here that suggest a near-term change in senior management is likely. This is not a serious business. read more

The service department is terribly slow. My first time in for an oil change they forgot about my car, so after 90 minutes is asked. The service guy rushed to the back, then came back and explained the situation. Total time 2hrs 15min for an oil change and tire rotation. I gave them a second chance, but once again the time dragged on. I checked with the service desk after 1hr 50min only to be told it was going into the shop at that point and would be another 30 minutes. Both instances I had a scheduled appointment. There won't be a third time. Bonus: If you'd like to buy a car here check their website. In my endless time meandering the facility every used car that I looked at was $8000-$10000 cheaper on their website than the sticker on the window. Seems a bit shady to me. read more

Another Toyota dealership had to fix a mistake Springfield did with my car. In late Oct 2021 I brought my car (that I brought there in 2020) to the service center because my car was making a squeaky noise when I hit the break. I was coming back from driving on a slightly muddy road so I assumed that had something to do with it. I took it to the service center and I was greeted with Mike Best as the representative. I explained my problem and I was condescendingly explained that the noise was not a big deal, it was because its cold. I insisted that the mechanic check it out. After 2 hours I was told there was dirt somewhere in my break system that required cleaning. Great! I feel vindicated. Cut to 2-3 months, when I started notice this clicking noise that is coming from my wheels when I came to a stop. I thought it was because of the cold weather but it did not improve by May 2022. At this time I've moved to Maryland so I took it to Gaithersburg dealership. The Gaithersburg dealership could not figure out what was wrong with it. They contacted Toyota headquarters and was told to replace the break accumulator. Well that did not fix it at all. Please see picture for more information. I took it back to the Gaithersburg dealership and they checked again and they found Springfield Toyota had installed incorrectly installed brake pad wear indicator. Gaithersburg had to dissemble both calipers and had to install new hardware. After all that now it works perfectly with out a noise at all. Glad I'm no longer taking my car to Springfield. read more

This was a actually a super easy sales experience. At least initially. I came in wanting a specific vehicle. Priority Toyota didn't have this specific vehicle. I bought my new Toyota Highlander from a different dealership; however, the first time I took it in for service, the service and ambience were terrible and I ran away and went to Jiffy Lube. Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately by friendly staff. My car "concierge" was Dwayne, who was an absolute professional - friendly, professional, prompt, and very knowledgeable. I had my executive officer meet me to take me back to work in fears of the waiting area; however, I next will spend time in the beautiful dealership/service area (photos attached). I bought a used 2013 Chevy Silverado from them on 7-22-24. Shortly after my purchase, a mechanic told me the truck had been in a flood, a fact later confirmed by another mechanic. I am not mechanically inclined so I didn't know this when I bought the car, but the two mechanics pointed out to me the evidence of - and damage from - the flood. I came in early for an oil change on a Wednesday at 1:15pm. I normally come on Saturdays (the busiest day). It is 3:30pm and my oil change still has not been done. There are not that many people in here. Also, my former service advisor no longer works as a service advisor. He was nice and on top of things. Every service advisor I have been assigned to since has been azzholic. As a priorities for life customer (bought a brand new car years ago), you are supposed to get life long free oil changes and car washes. The car wash machine supposedly hasn't worked four four of the last five years; though this dealership sells new cars (so do you think they really hand wash each car to sell it)....yeah okay. BTW: The reason I was told my car takes over 2 3/4 hours (going on three hours) for an oil change on a Wednesday at 1:15pm in a dealership shop with not a lot of customers is because the dumb azz who scheduled my appointment listed me as a drop off but I have never in life dropped off my car. So if you want a quicker appointment make sure that you specifically tell them you are waiting. I miss my original advisor...all others have attitudes, act stressed and are azzholes. read more

Went in wanting to purchase a mini van. The sales reps are incredibly rude and not helpful. They give you a test vehicle to drive and expect you to purchase it. UPDATE: After owning this car for a year, I've been continually disappointed by what toyota promised me. Not only did they sell me a car without a tire iron, car jack, or lug nut key, so I couldn't take the wheel off when I got a flat, but they also sold me a car with no spare lug nuts. Why even sell me the car and have a spare if you don't give me a way to fix it? I feel like I've been completely taken advantage of here and will NEVER buy a car from here again. Old Review: The only reason I've come back is because I have the lifetime service. Buying my car: I bought a 2016 Dodge Dart GT about 53k miles in June 2020. I found it online for $12k and it was a reasonable price for what I wanted. After making an appointment, I found the same car on the lot for $15k. Confused, I talked to the rep who said looked a little panicked and said the price online was wrong - the real price was $15k. Now, I've looked into this car for many months, they go for around $9k-$12k. $15k for this car was ridiculous. After finally talking some sense into the rep, he started at the $12k. I ended up buying the car. Still not sure if this was a mistake. Driving home: During the test drive, the car worked great, and the rep assured all was well. As soon as I get in my car to drive it off the lot - ding ding ding! Not only were all of my turn signals not working, my lower head light and license plate lights were both out. I had sat in the car maybe .... 30 seconds. I was told a sensor was off and it was fixed, so in my naive-ness, I thought it was the sensor they put in. I messaged my rep telling him that the lights weren't working and wondering if it was the sensor, his response was "Everything worked when we tested it" ...?! I sat in the car for the first time and half the lights didn't work? Getting it inspected: I bought the car in VA. I live in MD. To get my MD plates, I had to get it inspected. This costed an extra $350 because I was sold the car with broken away bars! This was only days after getting the car, so there was no way I rusted and broke the sway bars myself. It was a hassle going through the dealership to get a refund for the repair but we eventually did. Then I had to tell the dealers 4 times I want my plates mailed, not picked up. My first free service: I've returned for my first free service (oil change, tire rotation). I've been here 2 hours. Was just called over to let me know they can't do the rotation because of a bevil in the wheel or have it pass inspection. The car is the same as I bought it just a few months ago! And, the brakes (they sold me) are so rusted they should have been replaced ages ago. TLDR: I was sold an overpriced car that couldn't even pass safety inspection read more

July 30, 2024. I was on my way home in Hampton from DC. One of the tire was making thumping noise, there was a big screw stuck on the front tire. Since I was passing through Springfield, so decided to stop by at Priority Toyota Springfield. I went in with great expectation because my 2019 Avalon was from Priority. Today, April 29, I was at Priority Toyota Springfield for a 60k maintenance on my 2018 Corolla SE. After a few minutes the technician told me the car needed to have the brakes replaced coz it's now metal-to-metal contact. I said to myself - how can the car need new brakes when it just passed state inspection a few weeks ago on April 8th. And BTW, the inspection was performed at the same dealership. Whoever did the inspection should have his/her license revoked because he/she put me and the passengers at risk thinking that the car was safe to drive. We've been having issues with this dealership for some time, and it seems like nothing is being done to rectify the problems/complaints raised by the customers. How the mighty have fallen. The (lack of) Service Department has failed me for the last time. Their automated scheduling system promises that a service rep will contact me. I've been waiting for more than a week for the first call and nearly a day for the second. This second call regarded a massive set of warning lights on the dashboard and an alert that I should get it into the service center. Since no call came back, I obviously could not make an appointment. When I reached a person this morning, there were no available appointments. Again, this was for what was cited as an emergency. Last week, a simple Annual Safety Check took four hours. This should not take anywhere near this long. So, their failure to respond to customer calls that were promised by their own automated system and the service staff's inefficiency have prompted me to seek out another Toyota service team. read more

My how times change... looking back on the love affair I apparently had back in 2018, I have to confess it has ended in a BITTER divorce- every time I see a Toyota now I say 'F*ck Toyota!' When I purchased my CH-R it was with the Priorities for Life -that's actually a big reason I purchased the CH-R. Earlier last year I noticed my car making noise so when I took it in for its scheduled maintenance and state inspection I told them about it. When I got my car back, no one said anything so I figured they didn't find anything and drove off. After I left, I heard the same noise but figured since no one said anything that there was nothing to it. That was in around June. Come August and time for my 100K maintenance check I mentioned its again and said that it had gotten really bad - so much so that I was scared driving it. Although I showed up first thing in the morning, I waited an hour past my appt time to be seem. After waiting three hours my consultant came back and informed me that it was my transmission and said I needed to get a new one to the tune of 13K - and my car was only worth 9!! I asked why it wasn't covered when part of priorities for life and why of all the times I brought it in did no one say anything about it going bad. The program claims your engine was supposed to be guaranteed for life provided you followed your scheduled maintenance which, I did! I asked what happened and how we were here on a car that was only three years old. He said that because my car was 1K over and a review of my records shows that I never had my transmission flushed that it wasn't covered... to which I said, well, how, if YOU all were the only ones to maintain my car did no one EVER TELL ME I NEEDED ONE!!?? NO ONE EVER told me I need a transmission flush and how the hell was I supposed to know otherwise- THEY WERE SUPPOSED THE BE THE PROFESSIONALS. The consultant said he would try to get an exception and kept me in the lobby for another hour and half... finally coming back to tell me that Toyota refused to help me because there was a gap in maintenance in 2020... when the world shut down... while everyone was locked down, I still had to work. So I had to limp my sorry arse TOYOTA CH-R to a dealer, traded it in and had to take on a more expensive car payment! I just can't believe it... I just can't believe they screwed me like this when they were supposed to be the professionals ensuring the health of my car... No ONE EVER told me, or suggested a transmission flush to me- and I had all the record to prove it! F*CK TOYOTA!!!! (oh, and Toyota owners beware, the newer models Toyota have a CLOSED TRANSMISSION so when yours goes you will have to replace the WHOLE TRANSMISSION- they can't rebuild it- so get ready for that cost.) read more
