Toyota did not update. 2: I called to ask for quote for Freon recharge and was quoted. Called back next day to schedule and no one called me back. Took my business elsewhere. New place found ac pipe leak and checked everything else. They took a pic of my oil and it's dirty?! Mind you I took in at 35k and currently 38k miles and my oil is dirty? I bought my new Toyota Highlander from a different dealership; however, the first time I took it in for service, the service and ambience were terrible and I ran away and went to Jiffy Lube. Later, I tried Priority Toyota Springfield near my home. It was amazing. The telephone appointing process was very customer-service oriented. Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately by friendly staff. My car "concierge" was Dwayne, who was an absolute professional - friendly, professional, prompt, and very knowledgeable. I had my executive officer meet me to take me back to work in fears of the waiting area; however, I next will spend time in the beautiful dealership/service area (photos attached). Everything was pristine. There is a coffee/snack bar, and it is very "up-market". Dwayne kept me apprised of the status of my service throughout the process. This was a actually a super easy sales experience. At least initially. I came in wanting a specific vehicle. Priority Toyota didn't have this specific vehicle. The sales guy and his manager upsold me on a different package and said it would be available in a few days. I agreed, made the deal, shook both their hands and paid the holding fee. Days later... The salesman calls and let's me know the vehicle I wanted isn't available but you can you can get this "other" car for "this other amount." Turns out they couldn't get either car. The service department is terribly slow. My first time in for an oil change they forgot about my car, so after 90 minutes is asked. The service guy rushed to the back, then came back and explained the situation. Total time 2hrs 15min for an oil change and tire rotation. I gave them a second chance, but once again the time dragged on. I checked with the service desk after 1hr 50min only to be told it was going into the shop at that point and would be another 30 minutes. Both instances I had a scheduled appointment. There won't be a third time. Bonus: If you'd like to buy a car here check their website. In my endless time meandering the facility every used car that I looked at was $8000-$10000 cheaper on their website than the sticker on the window. Seems a bit shady to me. read more

Another Toyota dealership had to fix a mistake Springfield did with my car. In late Oct 2021 I brought my car (that I brought there in 2020) to the service center because my car was making a squeaky noise when I hit the break. I was coming back from driving on a slightly muddy road so I assumed that had something to do with it. I took it to the service center and I was greeted with Mike Best as the representative. I explained my problem and I was condescendingly explained that the noise was not a big deal, it was because its cold. I insisted that the mechanic check it out. After 2 hours I was told there was dirt somewhere in my break system that required cleaning. Great! I feel vindicated. Cut to 2-3 months, when I started notice this clicking noise that is coming from my wheels when I came to a stop. I thought it was because of the cold weather but it did not improve by May 2022. At this time I've moved to Maryland so I took it to Gaithersburg dealership. The Gaithersburg dealership could not figure out what was wrong with it. They contacted Toyota headquarters and was told to replace the break accumulator. Well that did not fix it at all. Please see picture for more information. I took it back to the Gaithersburg dealership and they checked again and they found Springfield Toyota had installed incorrectly installed brake pad wear indicator. Gaithersburg had to dissemble both calipers and had to install new hardware. After all that now it works perfectly with out a noise at all. Glad I'm no longer taking my car to Springfield. read more

I came in early for an oil change on a Wednesday at 1:15pm. I normally come on Saturdays (the busiest day). It is 3:30pm and my oil change still has not been done. There are not that many people in here. Also, my former service advisor no longer works as a service advisor. He was nice and on top of things. Every service advisor I have been assigned to since has been azzholic. As a priorities for life customer (bought a brand new car years ago), you are supposed to get life long free oil changes and car washes. The car wash machine supposedly hasn't worked four four of the last five years; though this dealership sells new cars (so do you think they really hand wash each car to sell it)....yeah okay. BTW: The reason I was told my car takes over 2 3/4 hours (going on three hours) for an oil change on a Wednesday at 1:15pm in a dealership shop with not a lot of customers is because the dumb azz who scheduled my appointment listed me as a drop off but I have never in life dropped off my car. So if you want a quicker appointment make sure that you specifically tell them you are waiting. I miss my original advisor...all others have attitudes, act stressed and are azzholes. read more

They gave us a green van and we clearly told him we wanted a blue and wanted to buy new. He became upset because we did not want to buy the used green mini van...it was the oddest interaction. I bought a used 2013 Chevy Silverado from them on 7-22-24. Shortly after my purchase, a mechanic told me the truck had been in a flood, a fact later confirmed by another mechanic. I am not mechanically inclined so I didn't know this when I bought the car, but the two mechanics pointed out to me the evidence of - and damage from - the flood. I was outside my 72-hour window, but I contacted them and have not heard back. They obviously knew it had been in a flood, never disclosed it. This is dishonest - so beware!! read more

We purchased a 2022 Seinna from Priority in Nov of 2021. Up to now we have been very pleased with the vehicle and service from Priority. In May 2024 I had the vehicle in for 30K maintenance. (Invoice # 189571). No issues here. 1000 miles later Iʻm getting a "Maintenance Required - Visit Your Dealer" indication on the dash display. Over the course of the last 2 weeks, I have made this issue known through both the "Contact Us" link on the website and by voicemail to the Service Department. I have yet to reach a live person or receive a callback. I would like to know if this requires a simple reset that should have been done during the maintenance, or if I should again make an appointment bring the vehicle in. Horrible experiences in sales and service within a week! Our salesperson told us they couldn't sell our trade and that it would go to auction, yet it's on their used car lot for a LOT more then they gave us. NO follow through on obtaining a 2nd key (didn't even both to acknowledge that they only had 1). Finally the USB wasn't working and went to service. Today, April 29, I was at Priority Toyota Springfield for a 60k maintenance on my 2018 Corolla SE. After a few minutes the technician told me the car needed to have the brakes replaced coz it's now metal-to-metal contact. I said to myself - how can the car need new brakes when it just passed state inspection a few weeks ago on April 8th. And BTW, the inspection was performed at the same dealership. Whoever did the inspection should have his/her license revoked because he/she put me and the passengers at risk thinking that the car was safe to drive. We've been having issues with this dealership for some time, and it seems like nothing is being done to rectify the problems/complaints raised by the customers. I looked at other reviews by other customers and it's not only us who's complaining. For what it's worth, think about going to some other Toyota dealership before coming to Priority Toyota Springfield. If ever they respond to your complaint, you will get the following canned message. The worst experience ever, I had done oil change 2 times at this place for $58 but now they raised it to $98, include the tax it would be about $110. when I asked my advisor he told me that prices went high without any acceptable reason then I asked another advisor and he said that the owner is changed and he raised the prices. I came here for the service because it's the closest dealership from me & I am pleased. My AC has been out since last August and there was a leak which was patched. The overall inspection and car check took 2 hours and mind you I came in around 08:50 and the lobby was already full of at least 10+ people. My service advisor, Darryl was very helpful and great at explaining everything to me + recommending a better choice for me that won't hurt my wallet too much (mind you I am female & not that familiar with cars except for basic upkeep.) After determining where the leak was coming from, I was told it would be done within an hour which actually took 30 minutes. AC is blowing cold air again and phew, it's been about 80°F outside again- I'm so glad. I'll definitely come back for the services if needed. read more

How the mighty have fallen. The (lack of) Service Department has failed me for the last time. Their automated scheduling system promises that a service rep will contact me. I've been waiting for more than a week for the first call and nearly a day for the second. This second call regarded a massive set of warning lights on the dashboard and an alert that I should get it into the service center. Since no call came back, I obviously could not make an appointment. When I reached a person this morning, there were no available appointments. Again, this was for what was cited as an emergency. Last week, a simple Annual Safety Check took four hours. This should not take anywhere near this long. So, their failure to respond to customer calls that were promised by their own automated system and the service staff's inefficiency have prompted me to seek out another Toyota service team. read more

UPDATE: After owning this car for a year, I've been continually disappointed by what toyota promised me. Not only did they sell me a car without a tire iron, car jack, or lug nut key, so I couldn't take the wheel off when I got a flat, but they also sold me a car with no spare lug nuts. Old Review: The only reason I've come back is because I have the lifetime service. Buying my car: I bought a 2016 Dodge Dart GT about 53k miles in June 2020. I found it online for $12k and it was a reasonable price for what I wanted. After making an appointment, I found the same car on the lot for $15k. Confused, I talked to the rep who said looked a little panicked and said the price online was wrong - the real price was $15k. Now, I've looked into this car for many months, they go for around $9k-$12k. $15k for this car was ridiculous. After finally talking some sense into the rep, he started at the $12k. I ended up buying the car. Still not sure if this was a mistake. Driving home: During the test drive, the car worked great, and the rep assured all was well. As soon as I get in my car to drive it off the lot - ding ding ding! Not only were all of my turn signals not working, my lower head light and license plate lights were both out. I had sat in the car maybe .... 30 seconds. I was told a sensor was off and it was fixed, so in my naive-ness, I thought it was the sensor they put in. I messaged my rep telling him that the lights weren't working and wondering if it was the sensor, his response was "Everything worked when we tested it" ...?! I sat in the car for the first time and half the lights didn't work? Getting it inspected: I bought the car in VA. I live in MD. To get my MD plates, I had to get it inspected. This costed an extra $350 because I was sold the car with broken away bars! This was only days after getting the car, so there was no way I rusted and broke the sway bars myself. It was a hassle going through the dealership to get a refund for the repair but we eventually did. Then I had to tell the dealers 4 times I want my plates mailed, not picked up. My first free service: I've returned for my first free service (oil change, tire rotation). I've been here 2 hours. Was just called over to let me know they can't do the rotation because of a bevil in the wheel or have it pass inspection. The car is the same as I bought it just a few months ago! Nightmare experience, took my Highlander for a recall and oil change. The cashier name Valerie called me and scheduled a free oil change appointment approved by service manager name Fabio. I told her that my car has a recall and I also want to take care of that. After she spoke to Fabio, she said it can be done that same day. So on the day of the appointment I went. Fabio wasn't there. One of the service advisor name Chi took me in. I explained the situation, he gave a wired look. And he asked me , why I'm getting a free oil change? I said that's a courtesy from your manager name Fabio. Again he gave me a smark and he said he doesn't know nothing about that. So I left, I had to go to work. After a couple of hours, I called. Spoke to Fabio explain what the service advisor said and the way he treated me was absolutely wrong. Then Fabio apologized and made another appointment promise he'll be there at that time and there won't be no problem. I said okay, the appointment was the following week. I went on time. Fabio wasn't there so I had to wait 40min. He didn't showed up so I went inside. I spoke to a different service advisor explain all over again. Imagine that! He said there was no note/message that stated all that. So again I had to leave ‍ At this point I am furious!!!! After a couple of hours I called Fabio's direct line and left a message. He didn't even return my calls. Next day I called his direct line 13 times. And then I start calling the service number asking for Fabio.. whoever picked up the phone would tell me to wait and then either they hung up or not return to the phone. Another upsetting day, so I ended up driving straight to the dealership. I went straight to his office and I asked him what's going on and if this is personal because it looks like it. He said he'll take care of it. Long story short, after all that my car got oil changed. Went home the next day it says maintenance required because the did NOT reset. I called and left him a message. My how times change... looking back on the love affair I apparently had back in 2018, I have to confess it has ended in a BITTER divorce- every time I see a Toyota now I say 'F*ck Toyota!' When I purchased my CH-R it was with the Priorities for Life -that's actually a big reason I purchased the CH-R. Earlier last year I noticed my car making noise so when I took it in for its scheduled maintenance and state inspection I told them about it. When I got my car back, no one said anything so I figured they didn't find anything and drove off. After I left, I heard the same noise but figured since no one said anything that there was nothing to it. That was in around June. Come August and time for my 100K maintenance check I mentioned its again and said that it had gotten really bad - so much so that I was scared driving it. Although I showed up first thing in the morning, I waited an hour past my appt time to be seem. After waiting three hours my consultant came back and informed me that it was my transmission and said I needed to get a new one to the tune of 13K - and my car was only worth 9!! I asked why it wasn't covered when part of priorities for life and why of all the times I brought it in did no one say anything about it going bad. The program claims your engine was supposed to be guaranteed for life provided you followed your scheduled maintenance which, I did! I asked what happened and how we were here on a car that was only three years old. He said that because my car was 1K over and a review of my records shows that I never had my transmission flushed that it wasn't covered... to which I said, well, how, if YOU all were the only ones to maintain my car did no one EVER TELL ME I NEEDED ONE!!?? NO ONE EVER told me I need a transmission flush and how the hell was I supposed to know otherwise- THEY WERE SUPPOSED THE BE THE PROFESSIONALS. The consultant said he would try to get an exception and kept me in the lobby for another hour and half... finally coming back to tell me that Toyota refused to help me because there was a gap in maintenance in 2020... when the world shut down... while everyone was locked down, I still had to work. So I had to limp my sorry arse TOYOTA CH-R to a dealer, traded it in and had to take on a more expensive car payment! I just can't believe it... I just can't believe they screwed me like this when they were supposed to be the professionals ensuring the health of my car... No ONE EVER told me, or suggested a transmission flush to me- and I had all the record to prove it! F*CK TOYOTA!!!! (oh, and Toyota owners beware, the newer models Toyota have a CLOSED TRANSMISSION so when yours goes you will have to replace the WHOLE TRANSMISSION- they can't rebuild it- so get ready for that cost.) read more

Made an appointment to get a my front headlight replaced since the light went out the night before. They tried to say I needed almost $1400 worth of work done. An hour after taking my vehicle back they came out with this receipt of "recommended" work. When I sent this to my brother, who is a mechanic at a dealership in another state, he was super upset and told me to find an honest mechanic somewhere else, and never to go back here. I was very clear and repeated myself several times about only needing a new light bulb for the driver side. They even tried to charge me for a COMPLIMENTARY car wash! Backstory- found a tundra at this location I was extremely interested in. Emailed them and texted the sales person I was coming in Sunday. Even texted and said I was running late on Sunday. Arrive at dealer- first thing she does after giving her my backstory on the car I own is question where I got my trade in value from. KBB and I valued it at fair. Then she questioned my credit (651) implying that wasn't good enough and finally responded with "well if we can't get you in what you want we will find something for you." No lady, I didn't want anything else I wanted that truck. Flash forward 20 minutes later- she shows up in the wrong truck. An older clearly different model. She politely lied and said "no it's black I don't know why those colors are listed" when I pulled up the autotrader listing Lie #2 enthusiastically occurs "oh those are stock photos" really lady all 26 of them are stock photos plus a different inventory number? Enter Lie #3 "oh shucks my guy must have given me the wrong keys. Because the stock numbers are so close" Off she goes and reappears 22 minutes later (at this point I've been at the dealership for an hour) a half hearted Lie #4 ensues "so someone else is testing driving your car and wants it. So the sales guy is hiding it" At this point I left, I realized once a scumbag a scumbag they will always be. To make things fun and this review longer. She decides to text me saying "it was in the body shop" I can only assume this Lie #5 was aided by the sales manager in hopes that after being gone for an hour I had calmed down and was ready to return to getting screwed. You can tell by my photo I wasn't interested. Cliff Notes- they will work hard to get rid of what they want to sell you, they will keep you there as long as possible to wear you down and pick something you don't want, they will gladly lie to achieve their end game of screwing you. However based on last conversation with the service tech and the last point inspection I knew that it was the signals from the tires to the sensors. My Service contact Chhay Has always been outstanding to work with, any reccommendation he has is well explained, so making a choice is what to do is easy. We've been coming to Priority for service ever since they opened. While the quality and timelines of their service has been an issue, the convenience of their free shuttle service and proximity to where we live is the main reason we come back. However, we recently decided to trade in our 2007 RAV4 for a new 2020 RAV4 Hybrid. A somewhat painful decision for all the right reasons. But we just didn't want to deal with the repairs and wanted to get into something more fuel efficient. So, in comes Todd and his colleagues. Todd Carson went out of his way to find us the car, color and trim we were looking for and he was able to deliver despite the difficulty of getting dealer transfers on the metallic gray XSE base model. They had a fully loaded XSE on the lot in the color we wanted but we didn't want to spend $40k on a RAV4. So with our trade, we were out the door $31,500 thanks to Todd and his team. So far were pretty happy with the new car purchase. My Toyota Highlander picked up a screw in the driver rear tire. I had just bought 4 new tires for my Highlander (40K miles) from Priority Toyota in Springfield. Also bought my 2017 Highlander at same dealership in 2017. Tire was not repairable. Priority Toyota replaced the damaged tire with the exact same tire. It took several hours as they had to order the tire. Priority Toyota loaned me, at no cost, a Highlander to drive for several hours. Great service! Priority is for suckers. If you are in the market for a new car don't waste your time at Priority. I made an appointment to test drive an advertised new Toyota vehicle. They called and texted to confirm. When I got there I got a speech about supply chain and chip shortages which turned into a clumsy effort to show me a used car. They didn't have the car or any of the model they set an appointment for me to test drive? Complete waste of my time. Maybe lying to get you in the door and sell you something else is a winning strategy (it even has a name - bait and switch) but not with me. Plenty of other Toyota dealers to choose from - pass on Priority. As a silver lining my drive to priority took me past a Ford dealer - it turns out Ford is getting passed the supply chain chip issue and actually has vehicles to test drive and buy without a shell game. read more
