Emilio from ProStar arrived faster than anticipated and was professional and courteous. Since the car needed towing, he arranged that and gave me excellent options for further repairs as I did not know the area. He got my car to a safe spot since it would have to be left overnight. While car trouble away from home is never fun, I am grateful to have crossed paths with Emilio and Alex from ProStar Towing!

Completely Unprofessional, Disorganized, and Untrustworthy Tow Company…read more Great America Towing was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever dealt with. From the moment we walked in, staff were completely disengaged and unprofessional. Instead of assisting customers, employees were distracted and made it clear we were not a priority. We were literally told to wait while staff socialized and watched videos instead of handling business. The front desk employee was dismissive and unable to clearly explain basic details about pricing or service timelines. The only information provided was a vague hourly rate of around $195, with zero transparency on how long service would take or what we should expect. Everything felt intentionally unclear and unprofessional. My vehicle was brought there after being recovered by police, and even that process turned into frustration. Instead of answering questions, staff became defensive and uncooperative when asked simple, reasonable questions about the service being charged. At one point, we were threatened with police involvement for "trespassing" simply for asking questions and trying to understand what we were paying for. That level of escalation was completely unnecessary and felt like intimidation rather than customer service. Because of the lack of clarity and disrespectful treatment, I chose to take my business elsewhere and contacted another towing company that was professional, transparent, and willing to help immediately. Even after that decision, the situation continued to be handled poorly, including unnecessary confrontation toward the alternative tow operator instead of simply releasing the vehicle without issues. Management (Adam) was informed, but there was no accountability, no effort to resolve concerns, and no visible interest in how customers were being treated. Bottom line: this company operates with poor communication, lack of professionalism, and zero customer care. I would strongly advise others to avoid them if you expect basic respect and transparency. I ended up using Aguilar's Towing instead -- they were straightforward, professional, and actually did their job without issues. (408) 394-5476

I spent an hour calling place after place. They didn't answer the phone. They told me they had nobody available. They quoted outrageous prices. (Don't even get me started on the guy who tried to sell me a used tire for $380 - pay in advance , sight unseen.) I finally reached Russell. He said he would charge me $75 to change the tire, and he could be there in 20-40 minutes. He actually showed up in 20 minutes! He quickly changed my tired as we chatted. The spare was low on air, and he said I should go straight to a gas station and fill it. I wasn't familiar with the area, so he gave me directions, and then said, "Why don't you just follow me so I can keep an eye on you." I followed him for about a mile and a half before seeing the gas station. I expect him to just drive on, but he actually pulled in, waited for me, and proceed to add the air to my tire. Russell is a really nice, friendly guy. He gives great service, and the price is way below other tow services.

*** This review is for an amazing man...Hotak ***…read more Yesterday was a very rough day for me. After finishing my 6th day of work, I shut the doors and began my trek home. I have a heavily modified vehicle that I rarely drive except on weekends. After a fairly small issue arose with the vehicle which required me to shut the engine off, I had to roll off the freeway and call AAA. This is where my day went South. I placed my service call with AAA at 12:48 p.m. and did not receive a tow truck to my location until 6:17 p.m. (I will spare all of you the details that occurred in between) let's just say it had to do with the fact that my car needed to go 90 miles to a special shop (which my policy covers for). I sat in my car for 6 hours, hungry and cold, with many different Promises of time frames from AAA. I am in the automotive industry and deal with tow truck drivers on a daily basis so I know how VERY DIFFERENT they can be. If ever I need to get this particular vehicle towed, I absolutely cringe to my core anticipating what tow driver the proverbial dice roll will throw my way. After a very hard day and my frustrations being at an end, finally someone from far away was assigned by AAA to take my service call. His name was Hotak. Admittedly I was beyond my frustration point at this time, and of course at first meeting I do not know this man. We spoke a little bit, as I always want to vet the person that's about to hook up my pride and joy. Through a few words he understood my frustration and knew where I was coming from. He told me an old adage from his country that made absolute sense as to what I was feeling. I appreciated that. Here's the part I can't thank enough.... When it comes to hooking up my lowered/heavily modified sports car, most people don't give a shit about how they do it and how it gets dragged up the bed. Not Hotak. I had been sitting there for a long time and my frustration got the better of me, as he was on the ground looking for the best spot to hook up the car, I told him that I just wanted to go home and "I don't care if it scrapes, just drag it up" he stopped what he was doing to look at me and said "you may not right now, but I care" this man continued to maneuver blocks back and forth under my tires as they rolled up the tow truck. If I could convey with true emphasis the care that he took with my vehicle, it would almost make me shed a tear. He quickly and efficiently knew exactly what was needed to get the vehicle at the proper angle, and had no problem or frustration running from one side of the car to the other moving the wood blocks as the car rolled. This man is a true SUPERSTAR and is GREAT at what he does. FAR BEYOND THAT and above all.... he is a good human being. He cares from his core. Him and I may never see each other again, but I want to express my deepest gratitude from the bottom of my heart for his professionalism, efficiency, and his downright Humanity. If I ever need any Services, I will recommend and use Quick Towing without hesitation. Just because I know that someone like him is employed there. Thank you for bringing a silver lining out of a terrible situation sir. Jason

We emphasized this multiple times with the tow truck driver when he arrived and he responded "Yeah I know not to close." We helped him load the car on the truck with the door open due to this. A couple hours later, Tesla informed us that outside of battery replacement, there's also a window damage that requires replacement. When checking the car in person, the door was closed and the window is cracked. The tow truck driver never tried to inform us and just left. We attempted to contact the owner of the tow company and he said this is nobody's fault because the car had a dead battery, and that broken car windows "just happens." We contacted the owner, but after some correspondence the owner ghosted us. Ultimately, the company is not taking accountability for the situation that took place with our car, if you are looking for a business that takes responsibility look to get your towing done elsewhere!
