After having a very stressful day (arrested for a failure to appear), I went to pick up my car from Priority Tow. The owner, Nico was just rude and grunted at me Even when I was being playful, or talking about how to Zelle him his money. Rude. However, the other person who helped me, Chris, was lovely and understanding. I really don't understand when Customer Service is so bad...when they're about to make $300 off of me for parking my car in their lot for 10 hours. I owe west way towing a tremendous amount of gratitude my car was in the was of traffic and the west way driver happened to drive by. with an officer's help Bocas finest. he towed my broken down vehicle to a safe parking spot at a gas station. and believe it or not when I tried to get his card to give him a tip later because I was broke he said it was not nessasary west way towing did all this for me out of the goodness of there heart. and I'm extremely greatful. This is the most unprofessional company I have encountered. They have a contract with the local police department to tow and store cars that are stolen and abandoned. When your car is stolen, you have to deal with the police and insurance and all of the related nightmares and it's incredibly stressful and upsetting. When you go to retrieve your car from the tow lot, the last thing you need is to deal with people like the ones at Westway towing in Boca. They were rude, uncaring, and flat unapologetic for their behavior. They didn't show the slightest ounce of compassion. To top it off, they take advantage of the situation and hit you with a ridiculous bill that is highway robbery taking advantage of an already horrible situation. We didn't have a choice, but to deal with this terrible company, but if you have a choice -- AVOID AT ALL COSTS! My mother was in an car accident earlier this week and almost got scammed by Andy from Westway Towing. First, he lied and said we needed to come in person in order to sign the release. But then told her that we could email the release to him if we used his body shop. He then tried to slander Geico by saying their repair shops use cheap parts and that the body shop he was recommending would be much better. Unfortunately, I have been in a couple accidents over the past couple of years and I know that to be a complete lie. The body shops that have fixed my car from Geico do excellent work and all have great online reviews, not like the fake 4-star review that Westway has on Google from fake reviews. He tried to make releasing the car to Geico as difficult as possible. The company has a contract with Broward county so he uses that to try to scam people into using the services he recommends. read more

On Friday afternoon, on the way to a very important doctor appointment, my car broke down in Delray Beach on Military Trail and Linton Boulevard. I was able to pull it into a shopping center entrance before it completely died. In a panic, I called Westway Towing for help. I have AAA, but I could not wait two hours for them to show up. Westway had someone on the scene within 15 minutes. They towed my vehicle to the repair shop. Scotty was the driver, he was amazing. The say the truck drivers don't know prices. However they are quick to charge you a "Clean Up" fee which had I known I would have picked up the very small piece of debris left on the road. Stay away from these guys, very shady and unprofessional service. The dispatch overnight operator is a complete waste of an employee. The tow truck driver is a straight up thief. My vehicle was backed into my complex for no longer then 25 minutes in the middle of the night and he figures he can just come in and take the vehicle and then charge you $120 to get your vehicle. On top of that I was directed to a location to get my vehicle and upon my arrival no one was even in the office. Let me guess he's out somewhere looking for a vehicle to steal. However the "manager" seem to know what he was talking about to an extent. These guys are trash, there business is trash and the people who work there don't know shit about shit. Very quick/professional service, these guys turned up in an instant - even on New Year's Day. Nice fleet of wreckers as well, I'd trust them with a pricey vehicle. They seem well-equipped to handle anything you throw at them. My two prior experiences with tow companies in South Florida pretty much sucked. My serpentine belt disintegrated on I-95 near Lake Worthless, had to wait about an hour for help. In North Miami a coolant hose ruptured, I literally waited three hours for assistance. Pretty much thought that was par for the course down here. Aynway, I was impressed by Westway, will be calling them in the future. read more

The officers always call Westway Towing, i guess because they are a good company, which i do agree as well. My car has been towed here twice, and the police called to get it towed it both times. So they are a great company. But I do not agree with the ladies at the register. Our car broke down in the middle of the street and the Fort Lauderdale police department had the car towed by this company. When we finally got the car back we find our wallet that was in the middle console had $200.00 stolen from it. The only people who had access to the car was the tow truck driver and the tow company. Terrible customer service. Lady in the office, although she did left me use the "men's room" when clearly beside it was a ladies room, was nasty, rude and downright being a bitch. She told us to go to the gate, with the tow truck. Then the fork lifter operator told us to move it out, which we did as he told us. We used Westway Towing to deliver construction equipment a couple of times. Each time the driver did not care about the surrounding properties. He tore up neighbors lawns and cracked curbs. When we called to complain they tried to tell us that it is the contractor's responsibility and just don't call them to haul for us anymore. No... take pride in your work and the service that you give and if you mess up, try your best to at least try to fix it. That is how you run a successful business that people can trust. Ive never in my life been treated so rudely. The women that run the desk are miserable with life apparently. I showed up to pick up my golf cart that had broken down. I called before i came in. I asked specifically for what information i needed to bring. I was told simply a "notarized bill of sale" I went there with exactly that. The first girl at the window said that because there was no serial number that "you aint gettin the cart today. Not with no serial number" She threw the papers back under the window. I of course was furious. I asked why was she so nasty and why didnt she tell me over the phone that i needed a serial number? She got up and walked toward as if she wanted to fight. I was in shock. I told her get away from me and a few other things. I had to actually call the police to make the release the golf cart! They clearly have no healthy work ethic. Another large woman was also arguing that i needed the form "re notarized" I explained to her that the notary was only to validate that I am who I say I am. She said no, it also verifys the document. I had to read her the formal definition because, although she said ahe WAS a notary, she was clearly unaware of what one really does! Boca PD made them give it to me. When I called Kevoon the manager told me don't you dare accuse me of anything. Here s the thing the police saw my car and It didn't look like it did when the storage facility got. How do I know? They operate like gangsters, but the time of gangsters is over. Customers don't want to be bullied or scared into something. That's not how the world works anymore. These guys need to grow up. So after those shenanigans my insurance company attempted many times to pull my vehicle from their lot. All release papers had been signed and everything was in order. Except westway had told my insurance company they had released my vehicle to someone else- uhm really?? Ok attempt one fail. Attempt 2(4hours later)- now the insurance company has brought the incorrect fees even though I was just advised they they had updated the fees and were sent out. So after a few mor attempts and games westway plays they were finally able to retrieve my vehicle on attempt 5 , day 3. They are affiliated with broward collision so beware before taking your car there or letting westway talk you into using them.
