They messed up the graduation stole, specifically the lining--it was poorly put together and looked rushed and unprofessional. When I brought it up, instead of taking accountability, they told me it "wouldn't matter because hair would cover it." That response was shocking. How can you assume something like that? Not everyone even has hair that would cover it, and regardless, that's not the point. If something is done incorrectly, it should be fixed--period. When I asked them to correct it, they refused. No effort to make it right, no real solution--just excuses. On top of that, the staff came across as very unprofessional. They seemed immature, lacked basic customer service skills, and it honestly looked like some of them didn't even know what they were doing. One of the girls was being treated like she had no guidance or support, which made the whole situation feel even more disorganized. This was supposed to be an important moment, and they completely dropped the ball. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There's a reason their rating is so low, and unfortunately, I experienced exactly why. I have pictures to back up everything I'm saying. Ps if I could give negative starts I would. I normally take these things to Things Remembered but was disappointed to hear that they only embroider their own products. After a quick Google search, we found Color Stitches! The owner, Ernesto, took us in the back and went through all the different font styles for us. After picking one, he printed it out and let me place it on the apron exactly where I wanted it. After that, he turned on the machine and stitched away! He even let us watch the process in the back of the store. The best part is, it was only $12! This is a great deal for all the options we had available to us as far as style and color. The place may be tiny but they do it all! Screen printing, embroidery, sign printing, etc.
