She cleaned, made a few tweaks, did a test patch and it was perfect again. turns out I had the embroidery bobbin inserted from the previous owner.. I ended up getting the correct one and I'm so glad I did because once I got home, I couldn't find the regular bobbin. New to sewing, so still learning my sewing machine! She gave me tips on keeping it clean, explained what was wrong and how to adjust on my own. So grateful for her help. thank you! Definitely my new go to place now for services! I normally take these things to Things Remembered but was disappointed to hear that they only embroider their own products. After a quick Google search, we found Color Stitches! The owner, Ernesto, took us in the back and went through all the different font styles for us. After picking one, he printed it out and let me place it on the apron exactly where I wanted it. After that, he turned on the machine and stitched away! He even let us watch the process in the back of the store. The best part is, it was only $12! This is a great deal for all the options we had available to us as far as style and color. The place may be tiny but they do it all! Screen printing, embroidery, sign printing, etc.

I messaged them through yelp on a sunday inquiring about the price and they responded pretty quickly despite the shop technically being closed. I was able to make an appointment for the following day on monday and Jason was super cool about showing me all my options and letting me lead with what I had in mind. My stole was done THE NEXT DAY which is crazy because a lot of places said it would take several days or even weeks to complete and I needed it fast because I was taking my grad photos that following saturday. This next part is kind of embarrassing but it must be mentioned...I mixed up their hours and went to pick it up on friday at 5:03pm but they had just closed at 5pm. I panicked because I was literally having people come down to help me with my photoshoot the next day and the shop is closed on the weekends. I called and messaged them on yelp explaining the mistake I made. Karen found my phone number and called me asking if I would be able to come back to their shop later that evening because they would be out all morning the next day. I find Grandeur Print Studio, right here in my beloved town. I called, and he answered right away (no telephone tree or AI, but the real person). I discussed my needs, he said "no problem". I dropped off the jacket (only a few blocks from my home). The owner was very kind, very professional, and easy going. 3 days later, I got a text the job was done and ready for pick up. He even took the time to send me a link for pin backing that are more permanent. I picked up the jacket and his work absolutely mirrored the big company where I got the jacket from.
