Came in for the first time asking if they could stretch a hat slightly for me. I let him know I would truly appreciate anything at all, even the smallest stretch. He was able to do just enough to make the hat fit perfectly for my dad, who hasn't been able to wear it for about five years. That small adjustment meant a lot, and I'm so grateful he took the time to help. My only recommendation would be to allow customers the option to take the risk on adjustments they're willing to try before turning them away. I completely understand the hesitation from the first employee, but sometimes it's not just about what you say, it's how you say it. A little willingness and kindness can go a long way with customers.

Downstairs employees not only messed up my original design but never asked how big I wanted it. Came back the next to try to fix it and they retuned my hat with the loose threads still on. If I didn't double check the hat the threads would still be there. Not only that but the design on the hats are not fully sewn on and there's gaps. Never again purchasing anything from the downstairs Lids. Teach your employees how to use the machine or find someone who is passionate about it like Desiree.

He followed up with an embroidery sample that does in fact match my artwork. Following my approval he replaced my entire original order. His email worked and was punctual in responding to me. I was happy with how he handled the situation given how badly it had previously gone. I wish this was the service and quality of embroidery that I got from the start. I'm going to leave the original review below, and I hope that future customers get great service on the first go. I'm changing the original 1 star rating to a 4 star given the genuine attempt to fix the situation. Original review: Very frustrating experience. Ordered 2 dozen embroidered hats from Cap Bargain. Companies automated email system never worked after placing my order. Worked with customer service rep for CB who was using an email address from FAYA Promo. They are the same company. It took their rep a week and a half for every reply, even though I responded back to him within a half hour every time. Had to call many times as updates were never provided until I followed up. Ended up taking five and a half weeks between placing the order to receiving the hats. Upon review, the embroidery I received was clumsy. Curved lines were flattened, thicknesses were inconsistent and the stitching was thin. Areas of the logo did not match the art or the digital proof they provided for approval. I was told this is the best their team is capable of. I have worked with other companies that could produce much higher quality embroidery for more difficult designs. I did get a refund after having to request it and wasting more of my time getting to a UPS to return the useless hats. Wish I could get this month and a half back and taken the project elsewhere. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Sometimes you get even less. Save yourself some time and start your project with a different company.

My experience with IDC ended with a positive outcome…read more It started rocky as the instructions I gave to J.J. as to where to place the patch were not followed. This resulted in the shirt being stained with the adhesive from the patch after it was removed. Yesenia then took over and she helped to bring the project home. She did not charge me for the digitization of the new patch I created to cover over the stain on the shirt. The new patch produced by her was high quality, vibrant and was applied in the correct spot. Ultimately I was happy with the outcome and feel that I would trust them with another project in the future. During my visits to IDC, I have seen happy and energetic customers eagerly creating or picking out patches that they want for their projects. I wish them continued success.
