I went to this salon for the first time today. Super disappointed. It was a 5-10 minute wait because 2 workers had customers and the other just sat there on her phone. My acrylic full set is very sloppy and even though I showed the woman a picture of what shape I'd like to have, she did the most sloppy, basic square shape I've ever seen. My nails look really thick because of how much powder was used and they aren't even completely filled. I'm not the kind to leave bad reviews, but I'm honestly a little embarrassed that I have to walk around with these nails for the next 2 weeks. Avoid this place. read more

Out of all the nail salons in Springfield, DO NOT GO HERE. I came to this nail salon for a pedicure last month. I was nicked and ended up bleeding during the process. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but I noticed it wasn't healing after a few weeks. Now, I have a toe infection and have to take an antibiotic to clear it up in addition to having a bandaged, wounded toe. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I just had the best pedicure I've had in all of my 33 years on this earth. I purchased a Groupon in December that expired today. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long because I could've had at least 4 more of those pedicures since then. Hot stones and parafin wax are all included in a regular pedicure with no up charge. The women who did my pedicure was amazing, very friendly and helpful. My gel mani was done very well too by a separate woman who also took very good care of my digits. I'm happy my wife is happy and so will my bed sheets. I will most definitely be back! read more

I have been getting SNS for about 6 months now and was visiting my parents here in springfield and needed a refill so decided to stop in. Within a week I was back twice to get nails fixed. SNS usually lasts for about 3 weeks. These didn't even last a week. Also after leaving my second time I had glue and the sticky polish they use to make the powder adhere all over my hands and the finish on my nails was gone. I told one of the workers but their english is not the best so I don't think he understood. Very unhappy with the quality of service. I've had 3 nails pop off clean already which even one of the nail technicians said was unheard of. read more

I went to this salon after purchasing a groupon for a pedicure and gel manicure. I walked in and they sat me down right away for a pedicure. The woman who did my pedicure was very good. She gave a nice long massage, cleaned up my toenails nicely, and took her time giving the massage. She used a paper towel to catch any toenail clippings and dead skin. However, it all went downhill when she used that same paper towel and dunked it in my feet water and then cleaned the lotion/oil off my legs with the same towel. I was completely grossed out. I also noticed as soon as I sat down that my feet were resting on an old towel with nail polish from another person. I was getting my toenails painted, as a different worker came over to my pedicure chair and started filing my nails while I was in the pedicure chair. I had dust from the filing all over my pants and purse. The woman filing my nails said, "She almost done." and basically rushed the woman painting my toenails. I never got a top coat to seal the polish on my pedicure. It was obvious the woman painting my toenails felt rushed. The woman filing my nails took me to a chair and begins my manicure. Two minutes later, a walk-in comes in for a manicure. I am then told to go sit under the dryer for my toenails, after she had already begun my gel manicure. Five minutes later she takes me back to finish my gel manicure. My nails are not even painted all the way. Some of them have huge gaps where my nail meets the skin on both sides of my nail. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with this service, I would definitely never pay full price for their service or go back to that salon in general. Terrible experience. I consider myself a well groomed professional woman who knows a good gel manicure and pedicure when I see it. I purchased a Groupon to try a new salon being that I was new to this area and had other bad experiences. This by far was the WORST pedicure and gel manicure if my life. My husband came along and also had a manicure, he agreed it was awful. While we may be pickier than the average consumer, we know what we like. I tried to explain to the woman that hardly spoke English and she chuckled and wouldn't acknowledge my request. Needless to say I will NEVER step a foot in this place again and I would advise anyone who wants a professional job done should skip this salon. I was looking for a new nail salons to change things up a bit and somewhat regret going here. I didn't have a poor experience, but it was extremely mediocre. I walked in on a snowy Tuesday and the salon was empty. I asked for a the Chama Smile Spa pedicure, which clearly showed $37 on the sign, but I was told it was going to be $40. I agreed because I didn't want to be difficult. As others have mentioned, the water they put your feet in is extremely hot. The man doing my pedicure was nice, but quiet. He soaked my feet, trimmed my nails, cut my cuticles, lightly buffed the bottom of my feet, put on lotion, used hot rocks and wrapped my legs in a towel. I was a little disappointed in the "spa" aspect. I'm assuming the only difference is they used a cheap looking box of packets of lotion and exfoliater rather than just the regular stuff. It reminded me of that off brand "spa kit" you can buy at Walmart or Rite Aid during the holiday season for $5. At most of the salons I've been to, lotion and exfoliater are standard. The paint job was decent, but I wished my actual toenails were scrubbed and buffed, as I could still see ridges beneath my polish. Some things to note: 1. The man doing my pedicure kept ringing his hands in my foot water to dry them off, but it then splashed water up my legs. Why not just use a towel to try your hands professionally? This is what irritated me the most. 2. I did see a sterilizer and watched him physically open a new package of tools upon starting my pedicure. 3. A white nail file was used on me, so it was hard to tell if it had been used on someone else. (FYI: Nail files should never be reused on multiple clients, but thrown away after every one). 4. The hard sponge used to scrub the bottom of my feet (and then the pedicure tub while my feet were still in there) looked used in the sense that it was wrinkly and deformed. I didn't think much of it until I witnessed the man go to the sink, rinse it off and then place it back in his box. Again, a new one of these should be used on every client. That's gross. 5. I was charged $40 for a $37 advertised pedicure, but then was given a "discount" of $2, so I ended paying $38. Still, I was annoyed. Don't go making up prices and giving random discounts so it looks like I'm saving money when I'm actually still paying $1 more. Overall, I wish I had read more reviews before trying this place. I didn't think it was worth it and have had better pedicures for a lot cheaper. I won't be returning. read more

The employees were very kind, I felt immediately relaxed, and although my gel manicure left much to be desired, it was my pedicure that stole the show. I purchased a Groupon awhile ago and finally went today. I enjoyed my experience today. I was running a few minutes late and called to let them know and they were ok with it. Got to the salon and I was seen right away. I did the regular pedicure first and felt extremely relaxed. The chair was very comfy and the water was perfect. (Usually I go to places with out dated chairs and they burn you when you dip your feet in the water) anyways the lady that did my pedicure was very good, and she gave me a wonderful foot massage. My toes came out great, no flaws what so ever. I then did my gel manicure and was please with the service. It looked very streaky at first but I told the manicurist and she in the end made it look wonderful. As my nails were drying, I received a back rub from the receptionist and when my nails were dry, I received a hand massage. This place above all I had a great experience. My sister bought me a Groupon voucher for this place and I had to use it before it expires. The appearance of this place looks modern and clean. No TVs (which I prefer), just the sound of relaxing music. The pedicure was amazing! The tech really took her time to do her job. I didn't know hot stone massage was part of the pedicure service...it was very nice! The tech always asked me if I was ok throughout the process. My gel manicure was also pretty nice. The tech took her time and acknowledge my minor complaint with her painting job and fixed it. Overall I had a great experience. The place was nice, quiet and professional. The staff was not talking loud to each other nor were they on their phones (my pet peeve!). I like the fact that they wore black as their uniform. Purchased a Groupon for this salon. It was for a "gel" manicure & Dream spa pedicure. I normally have a pink & white gel manicure I was told after I arrived that this was not covered by the Groupon offer & would be $35 additional.Gel manicure means gel polish only. I choose not to pay the additional cost & only have the pedicure with 2 designs, "complimentary" but, not what I would have chosen/asked for. The pedicure was nicely done, the person doing it very nice but, did not understand/speak English. I also felt that the whole thing was rushed & colors choices are very limited. When I accidentally messed up a toe nail while climbing back up to get the "free" design the polish got messed up. Instead of redoing the nail even after I said something the "owner" just rubbed it with her finger & added more polish to the messed up part. I tried to explain what design I wanted but was ignored & rushed to get done. The warm towel on my neck was nice, a complimentary neck massage was offered and I found the overall atmosphere & cleanliness was good. I went last week and when i walked in the employees were all playing on tablets. A Gentleman spoke to me and I told him I wanted a manicure and pedicure. I looked for prices but nothing was listed. He said I had to pay first, which I've never in my 15 years of getting a mani/pedi been told to do. He took my card and charge me $42! He told me to go sit in the pedicure chair and and two women came over. Neither one EVER spoke to me. One grabbed my feet another my hands. They kept pointing, tapping and pulling on different limbs I had no time to enjoy any of it. The girl doing my pedicure went and got these bags, they appeared to be produce bags and shoved my feet into them.. little did I know they had some extremely hot liquid in them and burned my feet. My nails weren't even fully covered in polish I told the girl and she just smiled at me. They took me to the drying station. The man came over and asked me to add a massage, i declined. I finally after about 15 mins asked if the dryer turned off and was told "you dry, you go" i developed an infection on my one foot and 1 week later you can't tell I even had a manicure all the Polish has chipped off. So, the day before surgery, my bestie and I schedule appointments for mani/pedi's and plan to have lunch and wine before picking the children up...... We were approximately 10 minutes late (rough day) but the salon was pretty empty. We were asked upon entry if we had a Groupon - interesting I thought. There was someone getting a very lengthy manicure, and to techs waiting to receive us at the pedicure chairs. The water was extremely hot, and my tech spoke no English but Spanish. My bestie speaks a little Spanish and repeatedly asked her to ease up - she was extremely rough. Two female customers entered after us. The pedicurist completed us and took us to the drying station instead of the manicure chairs to complete our service. I noticed that seemingly, without even cleaning the pedicure bowls, the two female customers were ushered to the back and started on immediately by the same two technicians that were working with us. Upon inquiry, the manicurist, asked that we wait five minutes. Really??? What will five minutes accomplish except these two new customers getting five minutes closer to completion than we were...... Becoming irate noticing the time, I spoke up on that practice being wrong. Those two technicians should have seen us through to completion. The other two customers should have been waiting, not us. Our 1:40 appointments turned into a 4:15 stay for regular pedi's and gel manis. Needless to say, we didn't get to enjoy lunch together, but the other two ladies could have if they chose to; They were done and gone by the time my sister friend started her manicure. I would be remiss to not add that this was the first I've ever had a manicure without soaking my hands first. The manicurist Hyuni (Honey is what we lovingly called her), said she was there filling in from the Newtown Square office. She also advised that soaking was actually not a good way to manicure because it causes the cuticle to fold back. My nails and feet turned out nicely, but aside from our complimentary manicures, I doubt I'd ever return. read more

Sadly disappointing. The man doing my nails was hurried, uninterested, rough, and poorly skilled. My friend's manicurist was apparently called in at the last minute and he, too, seemed hurried and also seemed annoyed at having to do the job. It was unpleasant. The reason for the hurry was not apparent because both were just on their iPhones afterwards. The ambiance of the place was wanting as well, with no music and little warmth or friendliness. I use to go to this salon, I stopped going ever since that other owner took over but today I decided to give it another try. This salon totally earns a five star now! They recently just change their ownership again, the new owner is very caring about your nails and take good care of you and your desires. I had an appointment at 6pm the week before Christmas to get a mani/pedi with a groupon coupon. I wasn't seen until 6:30 and they closed at 7pm. My gut told me I was going to be rushed and sure enough I was. The lady (who may be the owner/manager) didn't take the time I've experienced in other nail salons. My hands were never soaked in warm water, my cuticles were not cut and she painted my nails on top of the nail dust that was on them from filing and buffing. I wasn't even told to wash my hands after she finished filing. Was not happy about that at all. I never even got the shoulder massage I was supposed to which was one of the reasons I decided to give this place a try. However, the lady who did my pedicure was amazing. She took her time and did everything the way it was supposed to be done so the two stars I give in this rating are for her.
