A coworker gave me a cupcake from this place and I've been craving it ever since. My favorite is…read morethe mango lilikoi cupcake. What I like about this cupcake is that it's not too sweet. The frosting is reminiscent of the Red Ribbon mango cake frosting when it used to taste good, back in the days when Red Ribbon used to make their cakes with fresh mangoes instead of the canned or frozen mangoes they use now. I conducted a taste test between the fresh and day-old mango lilikoi cupcake and I didn't notice much of a difference. The fresh cupcake was a little more moist, but I actually preferred the day-old cupcake because I couldn't taste the oil as much. Plus, the day-old cupcake is 50% off. And let me tell you, the fresh cupcakes are not cheap! It was almost $5 per cupcake with tax. The cashier was very friendly. I forgot her name, but she wears blue contact lenses. We talked story for a little bit and she told me that Sugarlina used to be located somewhere else. She also told me that they use local eggs fresh from the egg farm in Wahiawa. Fresh, locally sourced products sure make a difference! I definitely recommend the mango lilikoi cupcake fresh or day-old despite the expensive price tag.

I was next door waiting for my lunch when my husband pointed this place out. We were curious about…read morethe cupcakes and noticed the good reviews on Yelp so we decided to try some of the cupcakes. Initially, the door was locked, but the owner Tara unlocked the door and asked if I was picking up an order. I said no, we were just looking around and wanted to see what cupcakes they had. Tara was super friendly and even though she was busy filling orders, she took the time to tell me what cupcakes she had available. I was initially going to get 4 cupcakes: 1 lemon, 2 strawberry, and 1 red velvet. However, after looking at her menu online and talking to her, I ended up getting a dozen cupcakes: 4 banana peanut butter cupcakes with honey drizzle, 3 Chocolate cupcake with Oreo frosting topped with an Oreo cookie, 1 chocolate cupcake with a peanut butter frosting, 2 Strawberry cupcake with buttercream frosting and strawberry drizzle, 1 red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting, and 1 white cupcake with lemon buttercream and lemon sauce drizzle. The cupcakes were super moist and they paired well with the frostings. The frostings were not overly sweet, which I really appreciated, and I could definitely taste the flavoring of the frosting. The peanut butter was my favorite and it paired well with the chocolate cupcake. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other flavors, or will request a specialty cupcake in the near future.

The bday celebrant loved it and so did all who was blessed to eat it. Will recommend this business to others and hopefully find another event to make an order for. Much mahaloz Tara!

There are two tables of 4 on the side of a crane game, and a couch or two with two seaters by the entrance. The cabinets have board games and books for use. Service was excellent. I foolishly looked at the online menu and thought "I can order this in person" and fumbled when I got there. The staff was patient with me as I struggled to recall the combinations I found online. The hours are good and the drinks were unique and creative. My girlfriend and her coworkers enjoyed the three different drinks I ordered for them. I will be back!

When arriving, there are many cozy chairs inside, with a collection of board games to choose from. I noticed that UberEats type of delivery service were picking up orders consistently throughout our time here. We ordered the Strawberry Panna Cotta, thinking that it was a parfait dessert or served on a plate. Though when the gentleman taking our order asked for the sweetness level, we knew it must've been a drink. And it did not disappoint! I've never had anything like this before. It was the perfect blend of strawberry on top, not too sweet, not too sour and the panna cotta smooths it all out from the bottom up through your straw. The gentleman working there was very friendly, very kind, answered all our questions. One being that they do not serve food/desserts here anymore because of the shelf-life and unpredictability of people ordering these items, I get it. He truly seems to love his job and it shows. Walking each order out to everyone, whether they're waiting inside or outside the shop, he's hustling, not sauntering around. And in between, he's straightening the stuffed animals on the couches, so that they look presentable. It's the little things that count, and I appreciate that. Nevertheless, we will definitely be back to try other flavors!

I love Pipeline Bakeshops Malasadas! I have been to several Malasada places in Hawaii but | love…read morethere's the best for the following reasons: 1. the size of the malasadas: some restaurants tend to make their Malasadas smaller and when places do this it ruins the overall texture and quality of it. The bigger the malasadas size the more airy and fluffy and more bread layers that will be inside. 2. their malasadas always taste fresh and the same quality each time. 3. their malasadas don't feel oily or heavy at all Overall I would highly recommend this place for their Malasadas! I'm so happy to have found them. I can back multiple times on my trip. They also have other desserts too that I have yet to try. They have ice cream, cakes, and other desserts Also tip: if you are ordering a malasada also order a coffee or a matcha drink to go with it. The cinnamon sugar from the malasada just matches so perfectly with a drink this restaurant is also a nice place for walking! There's lot of stores and restaurants to walk around! I'm trying to remember but I think there was a book off that was not too far from here! If you either drive or maybe walk. Service: staff was super helpful and friendly while I was there. I was having an issue with my online order because my phone was being glitchy and they were so nice in helping :) Also wanted to note their branding is so cute!! They even sell merch items too

However, there are many alternative malasada purveyors throughout Honolulu, so I depended on local vloggers to find the best ones. This one popped up often on YouTube, and as luck would have it, we were dining at The Pig & The Lady on the next block. How calorifically convenient. We took the opportunity to stop by for a pre-dinner snack since they closed at 6PM. It's a cute shop with multiple sweets including quite a selection of housemade ice cream and delectable mouthfuls called Cake Bombs (Photo 10). We decided we would be good and ordered one unfilled Malasada each. Dusted with various sugar flavors, they were just $2.65 a piece. I went for the Coffee, while Jamie chose the daily special, Cinnamon (Photo 6). They were soft and tasty, quite comparable to Leonard's albeit a tad smaller. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing since we had dinner ahead of us. However, we let temptation get the best of us and shared a $5.50 slice of the Ube Haupia Mac Nut Bar, a yummy combination of sweet potato and ube topped with haupia (coconut milk pudding) on a macadamia nut crust (Photo 9). Truth be told, it stole the show from the malasadas. FOOD - 4 stars... the malasadas were good, but that ube dessert was next level AMBIANCE - 4 stars...really a takeout operation with a lot of temptations SERVICE - 4 stars...very calm and orderly TOTAL - 4 stars...yet another spot for sweet Hawaiian decadence RELATED - Exploring Hawaii?
