They are moving to a new location on Republican street and will be sharing space with the Hawaiian Chip Co. location. Menehune Mac products are a cut above other local offerings. Case in point is their dark chocolate. They use a high grade chocolate that comes out of northern CA called Guittard. If you have ever tried their dark chocolate products and compared it with the competition there is no comparison. The Menehune Mac offerings are clearly better tasting. What a wonderful find this place is. They have a variety of food items in their store. And it's not a place for just tourists either. They had cookies, party mix, macadamia boxes, and even single macadamia nuts. I even saw some jams in there. I really like that there are tasting containers for practically everything in there. I wanted to try their lilikoi bars and there was a containers with free samples. Of course my hungry little daughter was with me and she was eyeing me when I had a sample so I had to give her a piece. Her response when she ate it "Mmmm." Haha, and then she said "more". I got some of their snack pack cookies and I got a few pieces of their macadamia nuts. One was a strawberry creme macadamia nut and the other was an orange creme macadamia nut. They were each 80 cents each. Good deal. It tasted pretty good, kind of like ice cream. You can also make your own box of your own favorite flavors. I heard there's a tour of how they make the chocolate and I would love to see that the next time I come. This place would be a great place to get snacks for people and maybe some Christmas gifts. I'm looking forward to coming back again.

The candies are so unique to Hawaii and just different. We bumped into a Noms kiosk which was so exciting and were able to taste the new cookie butter flavors. The kiosk person was nice. He gave us free samples and saw deals when purchasing multiple bags. Lotsa flavors to choose from. Kiosk may look bare and small but there are so many options and this makes for a good option when thinking of what to send during holiday season. Love the bright lights and simple display.

Their candies also seem to be pretty fresh. I probably spent over $50 in snacks to bring back and there hasn't been one that I didn't like yet. But they range from about $7-$9 a bag. It's good checking out if you are looking for snacks and want to gift anything. The people working there were nice and parking was easy since they have their own lot.

This tiny little cart makes cotton candy figures and one of them of course totally captured my attention...Cony! It has all the features and I was that close to get one but I had other plans and decided to pass. Fortunately there was a sweet dad getting his daughter a piggy and omg super super cute! Just seeing that expression on her face was just priceless and a few others gathering around watching with such love seeing this sweet child feeling like the luckiest kid was amazing. This does take me back to Harajuku with the giant rainbow cotton candy and the fun it brings. I do make an effort for some me time and fun experiences as taking that time to make your soul happy can be as simple and something sweet. Thank you!
