Bottom Line: An easy to navigate stadium that primarily serves as the home to the Bowie Baysox baseball team, the class AA affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. The Bowie Baysox are about 24 years old now and they still play at the Prince George's Stadium which is also 24 years old. Two nice things about a minor league stadium is that the parking is free and the stadium is easy to navigate. It's so nice when your seat is close to the concession stand, the bathroom and the car. Also, prices to attend a game here are affordable and they have fireworks after the game on Saturday nights. The concession stands are pretty typical. I do wish they had a big screen to replay plays because that would make the fame a bit easier to follow. Also, the fans here seem to be a great, chill crowd with good sportsmanship. The stadium has special event spaces like private boxes and a pavilion that can be rented for parties. They have a Carousel too. Prince George's stadium hosts other events like lacrosse games and concerts.

We went to a Wednesday evening Bowie (I'm not a Maryland native, so I ALWAYS say this incorrectly) Baysox game. The stadium sits sort of off the beaten path behind some commercial buildings. It's well marked, but I still felt like we were going to some big box store when we made the turn. After a short drive through some trees we came to a large parking lot. There were some attendants directing traffic, but for the most part the lot was empty and we had no trouble finding parking fairly close to the entrance. The worst part about the game was the traffic on 95/495 on the way there, so we were a few minutes late for the 6:35 start time. The good thing is that there were NO lines to get it and lots and lots of seating once we got inside. About half of the vendors were closed (attendance really was low). The stadium was clean and everyone working there was very friendly and nice. Lots of eye contact and smiling, which is pretty cool when you're taking your 5 year old to a ball game. We sat on the left side in the GA seating (orange benches) so that we would be in the shade. There was a large kiddie area on the opposite side that looked like it had some bounce houses and a carousel, although we didn't check it out up close. We ordered french fries (very good), pizza (fine), chicken sandwich (grilled with NO salt, yuck), and a pitt beef sandwich (good), with a soda and a beer to wash it all down. Also ice cream, because we were in a ball park and didn't get a hot dog, so we AT LEAST had to have ice cream. The team lost, but... it didn't really matter. There were lots of goofy activities for the kids on the field, dizzy bat races, sumo wrestling, The best part? The mascot's name is Louie, so now I can remember that Bowie rhymes with Louie, and isn't pronounced like David Bowie. Okay, maybe that wasn't the best part, but I'm still pretty pleased with it.

We went on $1 hot dog and $2 draft night at the pavilion (tent)! It ends when the game starts but it was great fun. The stadium itself is really neat for minor league play. They even have an assortment of wine available! Highly recommend going to a game and enjoy the hustle of those who want to make it to the Big leagues!

(7/24/2016) Great little stadium in Bowie, centrally located between DC, Annapolis, and Baltimore. Prices really cheap, $10 general admission. Since it was going to be one of those 100F days in the middle of the summer, went primadonna-style and got suite seats in the Diamond View Restaurant. It was perfect, felt like low-rent royalty, only $23 for access to A/C, clean bathrooms, and table service. I'm not a super huge baseball fan, but I do enjoy a live game every once in a while, and I do like my creature comforts. You also get access to the private outdoor seating section, directly behind home plate. We were the only ones out there, it was like our own private party. I have done GA before and there isn't a bad seat in the house, just if you want some shade, sit on the 3rd base side (west), that way in the late afternoon you won't be roasting. Prices are still high for concessions, considering it's just a hot dog or bag of popcorn, but you're a captive audience, no where else to go, and no outside food can be brought in (unlike at Camden Yards). The food in the restaurant is actually pretty good and the prices would be on par with any other sit down restaurant with table service. Love the minors for the hometown stunts between the innings. Come for the fireworks, they rival anything in the surrounding cities and you're out in the boonies so it gets dark, like for reals, you can see stars and everything.

This was a nice ballpark with wide concourses and good sight lines. The only problem was the concession stands, they took forever and I missed three innings during which the Baysox scored all the game's runs. Also fans in the general admission area leave a lot to be desired. Few watch the game, most arrive late, and young kids jump from seat to seat not caring who they disturb.

She was excited for the game to start, showing off her free bat on kids appreciation night.

September 21st 2025…read more This place is so disorganized and disappointing. My father called ahead of time since him and I are both disabled (we both have handicap placards and my father has a permanent disabled license plate) He finally got ahold of someone and they said if we want handicap parking up close get the gold parking pass. I paid 200 dollars for parking. Yes, 200. Parking up close is VERY important to me.. Nobody was helpful in guiding us to the lot we paid 200 dollars for. Also, they told us when we got there there's no handicap places, we just have to go and sit on a blue bench and call a number for a golf cart to pick us up. I called the number 3 times and somebody did answer. They were nice but not helpful. We ended up having to give up and walk. No workers were helpful, and when we would try to flag down other workers on golf carts they would not stop for us. They did not even look at us The stadium is very outdated. It looks extremely industrial and not welcoming Very crowded Lines were long There definitely was not enough bathrooms or food areas to keep up with all the people it can hold However, I did enjoy the seats we had. I liked the view. And the field looks great. I will say, the bathrooms for the MOST part were clean for over 50 thousand people being there. I did see a toilet overflowing onto the ground though. But workers were taking care of it This stadium needs a huge update. Do not waste 200 on up close parking. It wasn't even that up close and nobody came and picked us up despite us calling and waiting for 43 minutes (the game had already started while we were waiting) Again, I do have to hand it to the woman on the phone who kept answering. It wasn't her fault and at least she answered. So, if you are disabled and can't walk far, plan accordingly Every stadium is different So always check their bag rules. I did have to use a small clear bag Sadly, this stadium is probably one of the worst I've been to P.S- if you google worst NFL stadiums, this one comes up lol. So I'm not the only one complaining

First time visiting this venue for the R&B concert. Strongly recommend reviewing the purse and bag…read morerestrictions prior to arrival. I learned the hard way from my visit to Capital One arena. If attending a sporting event or concert, allow time to navigate the slow moving traffic into the venue. Parking isn't free and it's also cashless. If you decide to pay the day of, the amount goes up. I did the prepay option and you have to have your QR code ready when the attendants are directing traffic. The parking spots were tight and I had to shimmy in and out of my vehicle. It'll also depend on how well someone parks next to you. The reserved parking was perfectly aligned with the entrance for our seating. It took a few minutes for ticket verification and directions to the seats. We were covered, so when it began to rain, we were unbothered. Here's the chaotic part, the bathrooms are atrocious. Ladies, make sure you have items in your bag so you don't have to drip dry. Upon exiting, everyone is racing toward the exits towards their vehicles. Driving across the grass medians and cutting people off. So definitely be patient and pay attention to your surroundings. There is no one directing traffic out of the lots, and it all converges to the lanes you navigated upon entry. Highly suggest you go to the bathroom before you leave as it took an hour to get out of the parking lot. Great concert and I'd return to this venue. Review the seating prior to purchase to determine the angle you'll be viewing from. At any venue, the drink prices will be inflated. My bestie ordered a Cutwater and it was $20. There is food served here but it's mostly fried options and popcorn and soft drinks. No outside food and drink are allowed. There were some people who parked elsewhere and walked. It can easily be a 22 minute walk from the outer perimeter to the stadium. There were a few pedi-cabs shuttling people (for a fee). If you know you're going to do a lot of walking, wear shoes that won't have you hurting at the end of the event. Review your tickets, if you leave, re-entry is not guaranteed. Plenty of merchandise available for sale but there were websites where you could buy the same merch for the same prices.

I attended the Chris Brown/ Usher R&B tour on Saturday. Fortunately, our seats were located in a suite so we were not subjected to the weather which was great. However, getting to the suite was a headache. We were told that the doors to the suite were opening at 5:30pm for the 7pm show so we got in suite E line pretty early and ended up standing in line for 45 min. They only had one metal detector and 2 elevators working and wouldn't allow anyone to use the steps. I am getting ahead of myself. Prior to entering the stadium people were crowding and their were no distinct lines of organization for entering the stadium so everyone was everywhere. The staff were not very helpful either as they were lollygagging with guests. Once we were in the stadium we entered our suite which was great. We had food and drinks. However, the food was first come first serve so you had to get their early. Also, their were 45 people in our suite and we were only given 5 bottles of liquor and once the food was gone their were no replenishments. Beside the the food the view was great. The quality of the sound system and the performers were outstanding. Overall, it was a good experience. Not sure if I would return for a concert though.

After the heavy rains it is understandable that there would be a small rain delay in starting the game. The stadium was open by 5:30 and letting fans in. However, we were left sitting there until 7:20 pm without any prediction when the game would start (despite several announcements promising a start time). The only information we got was that we were certainly free to spend money on concessions while waiting. At 7:20 they finally announced the game would be postponed. This is a callous disregard for the fans, their time, and money. If the field was unplayable due to weather, or whatever the reason for the postponement, the Keys should not have wasted 1 hour and 20 minutes of the fans' time before announcing the decision.
