Great baseball-Family friendly! Favorite place to see good talent and up and coming talent. Parking is free and the food and concessions are reasonably priced. No need to worry about 'Joe-knows-baseball' screaming expletives at players and umpires. That is frowned upon here. Staff is helpful from parking to finding your seat. Fans of baseball should visit this stadium!

It's a decent AA stadium, no doubt about that. On a plus note too, there aren't any obstructed seat views, that I seem to remember. Have been here numerous times. Major League Baseball has become to expensive, although inflation is going to hit you here. Still am stunned that two basic Chik Fil A meals set me back $45. That is nuts! You can't make this up, and the long lines for food are a issue. Also limited bathroom facilities. Can you eventually take care of business? Yes but lines are to be expected, but I wish they'd get more of them built. As for the seats quite comfortable and clean. Good PA system that you can hear and understand. Nice employees, and not too difficult parking helps. It's fun to catch the Bowie Baysox, especially on firework nights.

We decided to stop in for a game on a Sunday night. We've been living in the area for a year and never been to a game but this was a fun spur of the moment thing to do. Tickets are cheap, the food is good and the place looks to be in pretty good shape!! I was highly impressed and really enjoyed myself!!

Minor league parks rock, this park is awesome and usually has some great deals on tickets and food.

Such a great family fun place! Really great for families and kids! They do so many activities and games to get the fans and kids involved. Parking was so easy! We were in and out with parking in under 10 minutes and it's free. The food, drinks, and snacks were the same price and quality as stadium food but less variety. It was hot and fresh though! We had excellent seats! Three rows back from home plate but not behind the net. A gentlemen nearby was hit by a bat that flew out of the batters hand. The stadium workers and emergency team were excellent in assisting him and even gave him and a bat and ball. He was okay in the end but still. It is a risk you take of course, just glad he was okay! Definitely great place to go especially to see baseball and take the family or go with friends!

Nice ballpark but...DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE FOOD! It's burnt, it's raw, and it's NOT GOOD! I went to get a burger for my child and they gave me a burnt burger and I asked to have another one. They said 5mins. So I waited and another burger came out...not too burnt but raw in the inside. Don't they know how to cook a burger?! Dang, the flame on the grill was too hot--meaning that it'll cook and burn the outside but not cook the inside. I guess to them, it's more quantity versus quality--Ball park food at its best!!! If I come back here, I'm going to be sure to eat before I get here--and you should too! The pictures says it all!

Yeah! Go Baysox! BP bought a ticket pack during O's Fest. The ticket booklet had a bunch of coupons in the back for food at the stadium and passes to play games in the Kid's area. We definitely took advantage of these during slow innings. The food was great and there was a lot of variety. The Nachos were really good and I even got a hot dog :) Our seats were great, the staff was helpful and spirited (we came on Irish Appreciation Day) and the game was tons of fun!

It was a great day of baseball! We were invited to the park for a birthday party and the parents rented a suite. The view was great, the people were very friendly and the team played well with an extra inning win! Between innings the entertainment on the field was fun to watch and it keeps the kids involved. The suite has tables and chairs and of course air conditioning, in case you go on an extremely hot day or don't take heat well. The restrooms were down the hall, clean and well maintained. The outdoor seating connected to the suite was in the shade, so it was perfect for a sunny afternoon game. They have nice giveaways throughout the season and it wasn't so crowded that it was uncomfortable in your seat. Plus, your kids have a better chance at catching a foul ball and taking home a souvenir. After the game, they had a helicopter candy drop for the kids, then they had a chance to run the bases. If your kids like baseball but get bored at a MLB game, try a minor league park.

I have some fond memories of going there with my dad and catching some soon-to-be Orioles players out there with the minor league AA affiliate Bowie Baysox. Now I get to share that experience with my own family. We were there on a very crowded night, as they were doing a special event for elementary school kids and their reading program. The stadium was at capacity, supposedly! We heard they were turning folks away at the gate. Wow! Still, it was not too packed in the bleachers or even the reserved seats, but I guess a lot of folks were milling about in the food lines and other venues at the stadium. For being nearly 30, the place doesn't show a ton of wear-and-tear. The amenities are nice, the food isn't as ridiculously overpriced as you might find in the major leagues, and there are plenty of options for the kids who aren't that into the game. Parking is free, but you might have a bit of a walk, especially if the place fills up on game day. Still, it's not that bad all things considered. And hey, do the majors have free parking? Not that I've ever encountered! The ticket prices are more than reasonable, and you have a lot of options. It's a quaint and cozy stadium, intimate but large enough. It has a great hometown ball-team feel to it. And that's probably the best part about coming here. Check the schedule for promotions, as they frequently have many giveaways, special events, and deals. Fireworks nights are very popular, so be sure to get your ticket early and arrive even earlier! All-in-all, it's a wonderful place to build some great lasting memories.

Woah. WHAT WHAT? A couple things that have blown my mind…read more 1) There is a Major League Lacrosse team. Like, at all. and 2) ANNAPOLIS has a league. WHAAAAAAT? Right? I'm confused and blown too. My husband played lacrosse in high school and loved it. He had always played football and was a football jock (ugh, I know, I hate them too...fortunately, he's lovable enough to overcome this unfortunate flaw), but when his best friend in HS introduced him to lacrosse, he found what really made him happy. So one day, we're out, and having dinner when the bartender turns the TV to a lacrosse game. My husband immediately is rivited and starts explaining why I should be utterly fascinated by this. As he's talking, the guy sitting next to him, starts telling him about the Annapolis team...and how we're actually pretty good. WHAT WHAT? We have a *league*?!? So, clearly, tickets were immediately purchased and the next thing I know, I'm sitting on the first row, at the 50 yard line, watching incredibly adorably hot guys run past. Right. Best part about lacrosse: uber hot guys. Second best part about lacrosse: uber cheap tickets. We were sitting at the 50 yard line, front row...and tickets were something like $25 each. Third best part about lacrosse? Sitting 10 feet away, staring at uber hot guys. Seriously, why didn't anyone ever tell me about this???!!!??? Arguably, my new favorite sport in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD now. Um...I think we won. I really wasn't paying attention. But my husband had a blast, I had a surprisingly good time, and, again...uber hot guys. Right.

The difference is that women's football is rarely recognized as a viable sport, and the support from the NFL and large corporate sponsors has been close to nil. In fact, the Divas used to belong to the "WNFL" division (Women's National Football League, obviously) until the NFL whined and cried, claiming that this name was a trademark infringement and that the women's league would draw attention and fans away from there. Are you SERIOUS? Why couldn't you help elevate women's athletics, NFL? Why you gotta be like that? I still love you, tho...I can't help myself. (Now the Divas are part of the IWFL, or Independent Women's Football League.) Anyway. The Divas are an incredibly hard-working, dedicated group of women who practice their asses off, play their asses off, and don't get paid a dime to do it. They do it because they. LOVE. football. Period. Their season is Spring/Summer, and their home games are at the great venue of the PG Sports and Learning Complex, directly in the shadow of FedEx Field. General admin tickets are a complete steal at $12, while military, police, fire, and EMS, as well as seniors and children, receive nice discounts. You can buy your tickets online or at the gate. For $20 you can also purchase VIP tickets which get you 50-yard-line seating in bleachers with backs on the seats, a program, and WAITER service! C'mon, that's cool. Concessions (burgers, fried fish, fries etc) are supplied by a lively and friendly family-run vendor, and beer, wine, and mixed drinks are sold at a separate concession stand. Rita's usually sets up shop, too, y'all! Other than the food and beverage vendors, all the games are completely staffed by volunteers, from the chain gang, to the merchandise vendors, to the ticket booth. They're mostly good friends and family of players, but some are just die-hard Divas fans. In fact, most of the coaches, team doctors, and trainers are all volunteer as well. Husband and I have been selling tickets at the gate for the past four seasons. Games are so much fun. I love seeing little kids come through the gate to their first game screaming, with their eyes bugging out of their heads, "Those are GIIIRRRRLS playing?!?!?" Yeah, they sure are, and they're GOOD. They put that other burgundy-and-gold DC football team (who shall remain nameless) to shame. Last year they went to the IWFL Superbowl in Austin, TX, and lost a heart-breaking game but played like champs anyway. They were world champs in 2006, tho! Please come out and support a wonderful team of women who are passionate about what they do. Bring your kids, your friends, make some noise, drink a beer, storm the field afterwards and meet some players. They love their fans. A lot.

The prices go down and the seating availability goes way up. The deal here for us was booking same day front row seats next to the visiting dugout for a luscious 11am day game. If you would have taken away the school groups in attendance, maybe there would have been 200-300 there at best. At higher-level minor league stadiums (AAA or even AA) you usually get more personal or corporate season ticket sales which to the team means the seats are sold, but most of the year no one is using those seats. At the A ball level here, it's more of a free for all where if you come for the right games on the right days, you can have amazing seats and it's all up for grabs. As for the game itself, it was a 0-0 pitcher's duel until Delmarva brought in Edgar Portes and he coughed up a three-run bomb in the 7th and then another solo shot in the 8th. Delmarva's offense came up small and they didn't get a runner to third base until the 9th inning which is why they went down 5-0. A few random thoughts and observations: You can buy and print your tickets at home along with pre-paying the $5 parking charge or you can just show the PDF on your phone. Easy enough except the day of our game none of the staff had scanners and all they were doing was taking pictures of your phone screen with their personal phone to I guess show someone else later. So difficult and beautifully inefficient. I love it. You also could in theory park for free. If you drive down Hobbs Road past the main entrance/exit area for the parking lot, there is a small dirt road which I guess is supposed to be an overflow exit for busy game nights, but it's not patrolled, and you could drive up into the back of the main lot and no one would know. Prices are reasonable, the weather was great, the play on the field was as good as it gets for A ball and I don't care about overpriced crap minor league baseball cafeteria quality food. The overall experience was great. A++

I'm not sure if it was because of the event, but it felt pretty disorganized. The stadium itself is nice, and the upgraded seating was worth it. Concession lines were long as expected, but they moved fairly quickly this time. It was also nice to see more access to ice cream stands on both sides. The biggest disappointment was the kids' zone. They've changed it to an $8 wristband system, but the activities were very limited and repetitive -- mostly variations of throwing a ball into something. There was minimal staff, and it felt unorganized with kids not really taking turns. For younger kids especially, it wasn't worth it. On the way out, there was a foam/bubble area that the kids enjoyed, but it was pretty messy and not well-managed, especially considering the cooler weather. That said, staff were friendly, and my daughter still had a good time overall. And the baseball game was exciting. I'd come back for another game, but would definitely skip the kids' zone next time.
