$4.75 for this Ginger peach iced tea!!!
    Johanna B.

Typical and average cafe stop along Greene Avenue. Like many such places, people on laptops or just having a cup of joe/some eats. Cute interior with enough tables/chairs, it was quiet when I dropped in but became crowded once I left. They offer breakfast and lunch as well as coffee and tea beverages. They also offer wine with HH specials starting at 3 PM. I wanted an iced tea and decided upon the Ginger-peach at 20 ounces. However, they ran out and I didn't get a full 20 ounces. Honestly, when it comes to some latte drinks with prices $4 and above, I can almost justify it. But this one was $4.75. Huh? The woman behind the counter said she would make more. And she did. But I had to return to remind another worker I didn't get a full serving. He was gracious enough to refill my cup much more than I was entitled which was nice. Still, the price was a bit steep for such an iced tea. I am not sure if I would return.

Oat milk with a side of chai tea

I wanted to love this place so bad. But for $6 I got a cup full of ice, a splash of chai tea and oat milk. I paid almost $7 for oatmilk. I feel silly. Stick to the cold brew.

Okay, this place has so-so reviews and I really don't understand why. I walked into this cute little cafe and instantly fell in love with it's quaint environment, all the way down to the cute little fireplace in the corner. I ordered a cortado and the munster grilled cheese sandwich. All of which good, the sandwich was somewhat plain but it's to be expected with a grilled cheese. The real reason I'm writing this review was because of the staff. Between the person who handled my ordered, the barista who made my drink and the chef. Everyone was so so so nice. Probably the best service I've ever had in NYC to date! Oh yeah, it was very reasonably priced.

The quaintest most special coffee shop you'll ever experience! I recently discovered Primrose and am so glad that I did. It's incredibly unassuming, located in a beautiful Brownstone on a great block. Personally, I put a lot of emphasis on ambiance and this place has LOTS of it. Talk about outdoor seating.. There are quaint tables and chairs out front with a small garden in the back. Think plants and raw-iron furniture. The menu is simple but good, the coffee is excellent, the staff is friendly. They also have some games to borrow should you want to challenge your company to a game of chess and there crayons and paper to keep the children occupied.

We split a bottle of one of the lightly chilled chiantis the Fiasco and it was perfection. We mainly got the winter specials which were the asparagus, smoked eel, duck salad and scallops which were all truly phenomenal. The scallop dish was quite small so not the best for sharing but the rest were all amazing. From the regular menu we got the mushroom toast which was absolutely delicious and great for sharing and the pork chop which is one of the best dishes I have ever had. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and was incredibly juicy. For dessert, we got the creme brûlée which I am also still thinking about and one of the best desserts I have ever had. Would absolutely come back!

Tasty cocktails but I do wish they had more options on the menu -- there are only 3 cocktails to order from. Half chicken with scallion ginger sauce was pricey for the portion size with no sides but perfectly cooked and seasoned. Chocolate dessert was also fantastic!

Everything on the menu looked amazing, so I had the waiter choose my dish/wine pairing and he did a great job! I got the pesto with shrimp. The pasta is handmade and the wine is natural from Italy. The pesto is made the day of in the morning. All fresh ingredients. They have indoor seating and then more seating in the back that is the perfect spot. I love the exposed brick wall. This might be my new favorite Italian spot. I will be back soon! Thank you for the amazing experience.

Instead of picking a wine from a menu, you tell your server the flavor and mood of wine you're looking for and they bring out glasses or a bottle for you based on that. The food here is delicious and I was happy to see gluten free pasta options. The pork ragu was good but I was truly impressed by how good the texture of the gluten free pasta was. For me, the show stopper was the branzino. It was seasoned perfectly and the potato crust was a fun touch. The salad was nice and simple, but didn't blow me away. Portion sizes were good, though the prices are on the higher side. The restaurant is a great place for a friends' night or date night, and I'd keep the group small or make a reservation in advanced because it gets busy. It is definitely a more expensive spot, but worth it!
