When setting up boarding, I followed online steps to generate an estimate only to be told by automation that they didn't give estimates. Prepare for things like that to just happen. Good luck getting them to answer the phone. I tried putting my dog in daycare for a couple days so she could feel the place out before her stay and I kept getting brick-walled. They never, within 45 days, had an opening. I was told they were getting such a demand that they have to turn away regulars. When you set up a profile, you fill in important info about this and that. It's mostly easy. I did so, preparing for a getaway about a month and a half later. My puppy Angel wasn't spayed at the time. By the check-in date, she was spayed. I took her to the facility, signed her up, provided a bag of food I bought, and went on my trip. The website says they'll send you pics of your dog in activity. Two days into my vacation, no pics. I called, no answer, so I left a message. I was eventually texted back with them saying I hadn't signed up for it. Okay, my fault. Keep in mind, you have to sign up for this. Then I found out she wasn't playing with the other dogs because they had assumed she wasn't spayed. Again, I had no idea about this, but you have to take it upon yourself to update ALL information in the profile, as the staff operate off that. So...after finally getting someone on the phone, I had the profile updated and Angel was clear to play with other dogs. The pics they sent me were 4 blurry, hastily taken photos of Angel and another dog in the lobby. Nothing of her taking action in the play area or anything. And no photos of her playing the next day. While the woman who contacted me was great and literally went above and beyond in trying to please, the results weren't satisfactory. It's a good place - don't get me wrong. But they tell you almost nothing, the website features seem neglected, the pics weren't good and communication is tough to come by. A.

Our dogs have current Bordetella and Lepto vaccinations and are not regularly exposed to other dogs, but we were told their current Bordetella still wasn't sufficient because it had not been administered within six months. Most concerning was having to advocate for an exception for our nearly 14-year-old Maltese, who is in heart failure, rather than unnecessarily putting her through additional treatment simply to satisfy a grooming policy. I understand businesses establishing health and safety requirements, but changing/enforcing requirements with less than 24 hours' notice--particularly when veterinary care is involved--is unreasonable. After many years as customers, we'll be seeking grooming services elsewhere.

BarkMobile solved that problem handily. Olivia seems to truly care about our pups. Our yorkie, Gambit, has some anxiety issues and ended up vomiting during his bath. Olivia brought him back to the house to check and make sure he was okay and offered to come back another day to finish his grooming FOR FREE! My only complaint is it can sometimes be a little tough to get a hold of someone to make an appointment.
