This was good. A lot of meat I think when you select different meats they give you the same amount of each selection. Yikes! You need a gogo gadget mouth to get a full bite in. I had to remake it myself.. I legit could've made like 3other hoagies with the meat! Still will choose Primo for my go to for hoagies

I am a sandwich person and have been eager to try Primo's since I became aware of its existence. It is a little out of my way, but a good sandwich is worth a bit of a drive. I had the Nonna's Veggie medium-size sandwich (9" long ) and it was amazing. Broccoli Rabe? Yes please. Sharp provolone and roasted red peppers? Yes to that as well... I even liked the eggplant cutlet. The bread was neither too hard nor too soft, and the sesame seeds on it were very much appreciated (there is an unseeded option too, but why would you do that?). The sandwich was filled to the brim with all the ingredients, and it was so much food I had to make two meals of it. I also tried the Primos branded Italian potato chips but I didn't really like the flavor. As a pescetarian, I really appreciated the veggie options on Primo's menu and I can't wait to try more sandwiches. The staff at this location were also very nice when they took my order and even showed me the different bread sizes.

This place is a joke and kind of a scam. They layer their sandwiches as if they are layering a hot dog. They put a bunch of meat in the middle of the bread and then they add the toppings on top. So when you're taking a bite, you're either biting into toppings or a bunch of meat. They do this because they are trying to hide the fact that they are using mini bread as if they purchased them in the supermarket and not regular hero bread as if you were getting it from your local corner store. Take a look at the bread compared to my two fingers. This place sucks. I hope people see this review and avoid this place because this sandwich pissed me off.

The sandwiches are generally good, however, 1. The price point is high for what you get 2. They do not cut the sandwich unless you remember to ask 3. They don't offer the wrap unless you remember to ask 4. The sandwiches are put together sloppy 5. The bread is so hard Otherwise, the store was clean, and associates were pleasant. I enjoy this place better when it's DoorDash delivery.

You'll need a bib to eat here. They are overpriced. The quality of meats and bread is good. I don't like the way they cut the sub roll. Veggies were good. They put too much of everything in the sandwich. Mine could have fed three people. The service was good. Great selection of chips. Lots of options for a side if you don't eat crisps. I might try them again.

I experience good customer service during my visit; an employee is willing to be accommodating and attentive to my order, Nonna's Veggies (without cheese). I like the Eggplant's crispy bread texture, Broccoli Rabe is so good (on its own, in a different context), and Roasted Peppers can offer a good flavor and texture. Yet, with all these enjoyable ingredients, it's difficult to find flavor beyond the Olive Oil which I have to let drip out into mini-puddles. Due to being on a time constraint, I don't take an employee's offer to remake the meal with less or no Olive Oil (thanks for offering!). The establishment takes multiple forms of payment.

Stopped here for a quick bite before hitting the road. The staff was nice and friendly and people were in the outside seating area laughing and enjoying their food. I got a primo ham and cheese with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil and vinegar, salt, pepper and spicy mustard. Over all this sandwich was good and it reminded me of a Blimpies sandwich, which is my favorite all time place. They also have olives, dirty pudding and other items available for purchasing. They have their own brand of chips too. It would have been a five, but the Italian bread was a little on the hard side as compared to other Italian breads that I've had before.

Roll cut all the way through, ingredients stacked such that every bite can get every ingredient, and in the proper proportions.

Good quality sandwich, but put together sloppy - specifically, the guy who made mine treated it like a hot dog by cutting the bread into a v-shape, like a hot dog roll, and then filling up the ingredients one on top of the other across the whole open V-shape. With this design, if you want to get your toppings in the same bite as your filling, you either need to eat it open end up, like a hot dog, or only bite from the open side. And even. Then, you're getting the wrong proportions - one side has more bread and meat with nearly no toppings, the other has mostly toppings with less bread & meat. open top of sandwich BMTMB BMMB BB closed bottom of sandwich Vs BBBBBBB TTTTTTTT MMMMM BBBBBBB (B: bread, M:meat, T:topping) You can actually see this in all the pictures on the reviews here - compare those pictures to what the online menu shows, and it isn't a quality difference, but an arrangement difference. I see that Primo responds and is trying to use these criticisms constructively. It will be interesting to see if the change I'm talking about actually takes place. Date of this review is 12/12/2022. If you're getting a sandwich 12/13/2022 or later, a picture will show how effectively Primo has converted criticism into a staff training opportunity. Pics below from website with my own sandwich, probably the 3rd or 4th I've had.

Larry was very accommodating, and helped compose a vegan dish from the setup of another dish. He was considerate to recommend something that would feel "substantial" - something that I really appreciated. It's already a bit inconvenient to come up with a dish on the spot, but to go the extra mile by caring that it would be satisfying as a main dish was really very kind. And it turned out fantastic. This restaurant has so much going for it in the quality of its ingredients and dish compositions. I would encourage the chef to consider how the can apply their creativity to a dedicated vegan dish as well. There's a big world to explore in creating modern, high end, plant-based dishes and I think this restaurant would hit it out of the park ! :)

With a table of 6 and a bill of close to $600 you would think more attention would be paid to the service and making it feel like a high end experience. Last note- they tell you the plates your steak is served on is 500 degrees and to be very careful to not touch it but they cram the tables so close together that the waiters are saying "corner" every time they pass by with those plates. Just wanted to share feedback about one of the best meals I've had this year…read more I'm a big foodie who's always on the hunt for gems in North Jersey. Some of my favorites include Saddle River Inn, James on Main, Scadeli Felini, River Palm Terrace, 130 Club, The Hill in Closter, and Prime 94 in Fairfield. Add this to the top 3! When I arrived, it was on this beautiful estate / reservation called Eagle Rock. I went on a Sunday evening and though it was raining, there was a lot going on. Weddings, engagements, baptisms. I was told that the bar was reserved for a party until 6 and to return then. I had about an hour to wait so I found a local watering hole to kill some time at. Then I returned. The bar is 4-sided, beautiful, and very spacious. In fact, the entire place is just beautiful. I'll share photos of everything because I took so many. I have photos of the menus, both regular and bar and photos of everything I ate. I even have the check pictured. If you want to order off of both the bar and regular menus, you'll need to know that this can only be done at the bar. So that's where I sat. 2 TV's hang from the sides but watching sports isn't really the vibe here. Outside the windows you have a view of NYC from very far away. I started off with lobster tempura sushi which was some of the best "Americanized" sushi I've ever had - honestly rivaled River Palm. Then I had the crabcake appetizer which I believe was off of the regular menu only. The sushi was off of the bar menu. The crab cake appetizer was pretty underwhelming. I have extremely high standards for crab cakes and it didn't meet them. Then I had my main course - a breakfast burger with fries off the bar menu as well as scallops off of the regular menu. Both the breakfast burger and the scallops were some of the best I've ever had, in their respective categories. Honestly, everything was so delicious. I had a Peroni beer and an espresso martini. And now it was time for dessert. Good thing I asked to view the dessert menu ahead of time because there's a bread pudding with vanilla ice cream dessert that takes 30 minutes to prepare. I ordered that and a hazelnut praline appetizer. The latter was maybe the best dessert I've had in years. Looks like a simple piece of chocolate mousse pie, but it's not. I would go back just for this dessert. The flavor profiles of both desserts combined was the pinnacle of what dessert could be. Highly recommend splitting these 2 desserts. Honestly, I was expecting the meal to come close to $300 before tip but after tax, it was only like $230. I left a $80 tip because the service I received was absolutely exquisite. I can't wait to come back. 5 stars.
