This shop suffers from the normal branded Primos franchise. Obviously a day old roll, half the size (lacking meats/cheese) of the standard primo size and rude customer service. I ordered two hoagies for pickup. Walked in the store at 12 Noon. Only 1 customer and no waiting or calls into the store. Hoagies were sitting there waiting for me. A telltale sign of a suffering business. The person who waited on me had a serious negative attitude because I didn't want to signup for their rewards program. He was as sarcastic to me as a teenager. Not appropriate towards a customer patronizing Primos for close to 30 years. Very disappointed here. Not returning here at all. read more

This Primo's location is way below expectations of other locations. Whoever runs the franchise here needs to improve everything When walked in the store was not greeted despite no one being in the line. They never offered a seeded roll despite every photo of hoagies having seeded rolls. The sandwich meat was very small portion unlike other Primo locations. And the meat and the roll were not fresh. Didn't even offer a bag???!! Exton seems to be much better!!! read more

Worst Primo Ever! We placed an order at 10 online and when we arrived as 10:45 (ready at 10:43), it was still no available. Waited in a VERY dirty restaurant (bathrooms were worse than most gas stations I've been too and seemed to not have been cleaned in weeks) for an additional 15 minutes. Staff (4 people) (including Santiago) were not friendly and everyone waiting had sour faces and one could tell this was not the first "rodeo" as someone in a La Salle shirt said this was common at this location. When we did get the food, the bread was stale (not fresh and why people pay a premium over a standard sub shop) and my wife's order had cheese (she has a severe allergy to casein and dairy) despite saying no cheese and specifying no dairy/cheese on the order. When my wife took it back inside, they told her "we don't have dairy free cheese". WOW! Her bread was stale after getting it remade and inedible. We were told to get a refund "through corporate". Please avoid this place at all costs! POST UPDATE: after trying to reach out to the owner for several days (over a week) we finally got a call back and an apology. Mike, the GM and co-owner, sent us a nice note and a refund via Primo Gift Card through the mail. Stay away from this Primo's. The sandwiches are sub par for the Primo brand and basically embarrassing. I ordered a Primo size Turkey hoagie and the amount of meat on the sandwich was pathetic. When I spoke w the manager to complain, he gave me a sob story about how he doesn't have control over the weight of the meat placed in the sandwich. Yet when I've gone to ANY OTHER Primo's, I get a great sandwich with plenty of meat. Once again, Primos makes a good sandwich, just don't go here bc you'll be ripped off. read more

Quality sandwiches, great variety of options on the menu. My personal favorite is the Big T diablo. My only complaint is the online ordering wait times. I don't think the place needs 60 minutes to make one sandwich, I never see reasonable wait times listed on the website. read more

Ordered on their website. We asked for all of the hoagie toppings on the side (Mayo, oil, pickles, peppers) - nothing came with it. We also ordered potato salad and they gave us macaroni instead. When we called primos the phone was handed off... the man on the phone said that they were out of potato salad - I understood that happens but primos did not even contact me to ask what i wanted instead or to take it off of our order - the primos man's excuse was "he couldn't call us"- when he had our phone number.. Next up: the issue of the condiments (our hoagies are literally just meat and cheese) the manager (I am assuming because the phone was handed to someone else) said "I'll talk to the guy who prepped the order, oh well ."..... that's ALL he said, I followed up with " that's it , oh well?" And that's how it ended. $40 on bread with meat and cheese and the wrong "salad". No communication whatsoever as "oh let's make this right can you come in to pick up what we forgot///let's take xyz off your bill... let's send you a coupon or anything " - blame was put onto someone else. Very bad service, lady at counter had a mask on but did not cover her nose, and had a kid probably 10 running around and his mask was also not covering his nose. She was very rude and just over all bad experience. Will never go to this location again. read more

Disgusting food safety violation witnessed, do not eat here unless you want to roll the dice and get hepatitis or some other disease. I never thought I'd give a Primo's one star, but this location is horrible. They did not have our order ready after ordering one hour ahead. Then the order was incorrect. When they "fixed" it, they put it on rock hard, old bread. They tried to say the bread was fresh, but I know fresh bread- especially fresh bread from Primos. I don't like to complain, but I couldn't even finish eating- the bread was that horrible, there was only one slice of tomato, thrown atop the lettuce and hanging on for dear life. We asked for our refund and were told that corporate handles it. Called corporate, told that was not true. Turns out he just had to call his boss and ask how to issue the refund. So there are always positives- one guy was friendly and worked hard to make things right, he just had a lot working against him. Others weren't so nice, like the girl who sharply and rudely said they couldn't handle the refund. The meat was also pretty tasty like other Primo locations. Please do better. I ordered a Mt see but got a Pepsi. The sandwich I ordered said in the subscription that it came with lettuce onion and tomatoes...none of that came. On the extra ingredients I asked for oil and vinegar which also was not on...they also have me an extra sandwich so. I literally got nothing that I asked for lol. It's all about the sesame seed buns for me. I was taken here about 8 years ago by an ex-girlfriend and it was the best hoagie I had ever had. So it was the first place I had to stop on my trip to Philly. I got the basic Italian with hot peppers and oil and vinegar. It was exactly as I remembered. The bun was hard on the outside but chewy on the inside. It takes work putting it back but I enjoyed every bite. It's messy though but satisfying. read more

We have always liked Primo's food for office staff meetings but other issues will stop me from ordering again. I ordered by phone because you cannot trust online ordering. It was obvious that I was inconveniencing them by placing a phone order. When it was time to pay the first thing the guy said was, Tip? I said no. (I am happy to tip for delivery but I have no idea why we should be expected to tip for takeout. WOW!) When I picked up the order the lady was extremely rude. I realized the whole order wasn't in the bag and asked if there was a second bag. She said NO!, its all there. I unpacked the bag to prove it was NOT all there. Very good place but not quite perfect. They have screwed up my order a little bit over the years but I will say the food is almost always well done which they have to be at their prices. Couple suggestions Please offer more drink options when dinning in. Unsweetened iced tea or water could be helpful. For the love of god why does Primos serve a $9 hoagie on a single paper plate? No not the fancy paper plates that cost around 9 cents but the thin paper ones that run 4 cents. The paper plates are too small and have the hoagies hanging off the ends creating a mess on every table. I understand a tiny paper plate visually makes the sandwich look bigger to the customer but besides financial incentives of saving a nickle on a $9 sandwich I don't understand the approach. read more

I recently had a horrible experience at the West Chester Primo's. It's a shame because I've gone there so many times and I've had no issues and quality hoagies. However this last experience is so horrible that I know I will never go to this Primo's location again. I got a small turkey Diablo hoagie, and when I went to go eat it at my desk at work the sandwich tasted funny I looked at the turkey and realize it had some discoloration and tasted like rubber and metal. Once I noticed this I did not eat the rest of the sandwich and threw it away. What's worse About this whole situation not only did I have a horrible sandwich that I paid money for when I spoke to the manager after about the situation he essentially made me feel as though I was lying. He kept telling me all the things that were weird about the situation for example that's weird because turkey is one of our number one seller's. Or that side because I didn't receive any other complaints that day. I haven't gone to this location at least twice a week for a year now into assumed I'd be lying to get a free small hoagie is ridiculous. I think the managers response to my horrible situation was worse than the situation itself. One of the better Primos I've had recently! Place is nice and big and clean inside and the service is quick. Hubby and I tried two hoagies-an Italian for me and a roast beef for him. They did mess up and mix up our rolls (hubby is not the clearest orderer though ) but we both thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches. Fresh, fast -and super close to my house! We shall be back! read more

Everything is so fresh. One time I went there where they ran out of bread though. Must have been a strange day. Every time I've been there I've gotten a good hoagie (except for the day they ran out of bread! ha!). The prices are pretty fair since there is a good bit of meat. Also get their dirt pudding. Food is excellent, but the service is shockingly bad. Every time I'm there it's like the person behind the counter is working their first day and was never trained. They're always looking confused at the register, asking you to repeat your order, the orders take forever and they don't always get it right. Alway great. Great service amazing food. If you are trying to eat healthy for a quick meal this is a great choice. Get a sandwich in a bowl or a wrap. The food was not the problem tonight. The problem was the staff. When we walked in there were 2 gentlemen in front of us, shortly after us, 2 more people walked in. After taking the other orders, the cashier asked to help who was next, my husband and I walked up to the counter. I placed my order and my husband had a question about a hoagie. The cashier huffed and grabbed a menu, then very bluntly told him the difference. When she was done, she looked behind us to the other people and asked them if they were ordering or picking up an order, all the while my husband is telling her what he wanted. She then asked if we wanted a drink. We said yes, she pointed out that their soda fountain was out of order and we could pick up a bottle drink. We paid and sat down. When our name was called to get our food, the gentleman behind the counter handed us our food in a bag. Then said oh are you eating it here, let me get you a tray. I said no thanks, we were ok. As we sat there eating, the tv was turned off, lights began shutting off. Not one employee came to us to tell us they were closing! Just a basic- shut the lights off and get out attitude! read more
