Ordered delivery through DoorDash. Wait time was about an hour. The bread on one of the sandwiches was really hard, while the other was softer. For $20/piece before fees, expected more substantial toppings. However they tasted fresh and the flavors worked well. read more

The woman who works every-time I come in is a doll. No one else I want to see when I walk in and to make my sandwich. Sandwiches are good!

I love this place. The best chain sandwich shop. Service was great and the store was clean and inviting. Sandwich was stacked with thinly sliced meat and built to perfection. Bread was perfect. Hard to beat! read more

I ordered a Veggie Diablo with no cheese. I got a half a block away and noticed my sandwich had cheese. When I returned it appeared the gentleman was just going to take the cheese off. I had to ask for another sandwich. The the gentleman mumbled something as he put a bag on the counter. The other staff members were nice. It's not my fault my sandwich had to be remade because it was not put in correctly. read more

Ordered 2 Tuna Diablos Service was fast enough and everything but on the website the tuna is advertised as tuna in olive oil and it's 100 percent not. It's tuna in water which is half the price and twice as dry. Very deceptive, fix it. read more

At 8:00 PM, I tried calling your shop to place a pickup order. Not exactly a wild request, considering you advertise being open until 9:00. But instead of a human, I got a busy signal--over a dozen times in fifteen minutes. Turns out someone just left the phone off the hook. Bold strategy. Still, I wanted Primo's enough to rent a bike share and pedal from the Art Museum to 11th and Chestnut. I arrive at 8:32, walk past the counter person on a smoke break, and inside I'm greeted by the broom guy. Without even looking up, he barks, "You picking up?" I say, "No, I need to place an order." His answer? "The slicers closed." The slicers. Closed. At 8:32. Thirty minutes before closing time. That's not how closing hours work--that's how excuses work. I would have been there with a neat little order bag waiting for me... if your phone hadn't been given the night off. So instead, we ate burritos. Which were great, by the way. And unlike your store, their phone worked. Lesson learned: next time I get a craving for Primo's, I'll save myself the ride, the hassle, and the attitude. Because if my effort and money aren't worth your time, then neither is my business. read more

A solid takeaway sandwich or, as they say in Philly, hoagie. Simple and tasty. Friendly, fast, and down to earth.

I would given it 5 stars but then bread was soggy. What happened to toasting it? Otherwise, perfect fixtures. The turkey was yummy, the the fresh ingredients, tomatoes, onions, lettuce... ahhh. Just perfect. I did ask for American cheese, but they put mozzarella. But it was a yummy hoagie with a few things missing. read more

Primo Hoagies has the ABSOLUTE BEST hoagies I have ever had in my life! Every time I'm in Philly I make sure to get my favorite Primos sandwich-- the Veggie Diablo!!!! I'm so happy to hear they are now nation-wide because I thought they were just a local Philly chain. I'm obsessed! read more

This was an emergency lunch. Of course there wasn't any parking as it's center city! There is a passenger loading zone where you can park and run in. I suggest you call ahead. Around lunch time be prepared to be placed on hold a few times. The person who took my order was cordial. I got the crusher; the smallest size and oh boy it was small. For almost $8 I expected more. It was about half of a regular hoagie. Smh my order took about 20 minutes. When I finally got my sandwich, i left, sat in the car and I ripped open the package. To my surprise, nothing I asked for was on the sandwich! The horror!! I asked for extra mayo, no extra mayo, no oil, crushed pepper seeds. I received the end of a tomato. I was hungry so I ate it. Very disappointed. I won't be going back. read more

Usually love primos but this locations wasn't the best. It might have been our fault though, we ordered from here around 7PM, so that might be why the bread was incredibly hard and the sandwich just wasn't made as good as usual. We ordered through Uber eats and it was pretty quick. Haven't been inside this location but probably won't ever try it again lol. Definitely will stick to our usual Primo locations. read more

I got violently ill from eating here. I ordered the tuna diablo, which i get at least 2x / month. But a couple weeks ago, it didn't sit right and was sick for over a week. Had to go to the doc for meds, he said it was bacteria-based food poisoning, most likely from mishandled ingredients. Never again. I will miss this sandwich though. read more

Shout out to Primo's for providing a great catering service to Trader Joe's this week. I haven't had a good hoagie in a while and Primo's was the perfect relapse. I had several small portions of their italian and turkey sandwiches and they tasted delicious. The sesame bread may have been the best part, but the entire sub had an extraordinary amount of flavor and seasoning from the meats and veggies. I'll definitely have to consider going to Primo's again in the future to experience the hoagies in their natural state. As it stands now, I am entirely satisfied. read more

Awful experience twice in a row now....And the women who answers the phone has the worst attitude problem. If you can't handle the basic customer service tasks then get a different job cause your ruining business. Two times in a row I ordered the sharp Italian with extra cheese and both times I got ZERO cheese.....I also ordered a full pound of potato salad but only got the half size but was told I have to call during certain hours to get a refund so I kept trying to call yet somehow a "manager" was never there to issue me a refund and it can only be a manager who can do it apparently?? I was talked down to in a very condescending way and this place is NOT inexpensive so to spent $50-60 for a small order of food and it be wrong and the customer service being garbage on top of it while also making it impossible to get a refund for the mistakes made is down right awful. Get it together and treat your customers with respect and how about not consistently mess up the orders? Not to much to ask.... read more

This was a pretty nice hoagie place. The bread wasn't particularly to my preference because of the texture and it was a bit too dry. The sandwich itself was pretty good. Loaded with fresh meats and veggies. It was enjoyable, but not remarkable. The service itself was pretty dry and unwelcoming. No greeting and kinda just walks over and stares at you till you say something. Overall the food was ok, but doesn't feel like a 9 dollar sub. read more

I ordered Primos for a work lunch this week for 25 people. On the day of delivery, 15 min before lunch, I received a text from Door Dash telling me they were on the way to pick up my order for delivery. Immediately following, I received a text that my order was canceled. I went into immediate freak out mode because I was in a meeting and now I had to figure out what happened and how I was going to get lunch to this group and quick! I called Primos and they handled everything perfectly. They were friendly and quick in getting a replacement tray out to our team and no one had any idea! I felt like the manager did whatever he could to fix the issue.....AND QUICKLY. Everyone enjoyed everything they ate and with a majority of the group being from out of town, they all got to experience PrimoHoagies. The best! Thank you for everything! read more

Very yummy, good meat and good ratios! The employees are pleasant and friendly and there's a good choice of chips, sodas, and sandwiches.

Absolutely love Primo Hoagies. The Primo store is on 11th street in Center City and always quick and speedy and as far as hoagies goes, it's a WINNER. I feel like I'm bias since most anything with a good roll and banana peppers makes everything just DELISHHH!! But it's always the roll that makes me come back. read more

Went to pick my order that I had called earlier this evening. Got up to the counter to ask for my order, but was ignored. One girl was leaning on her elbows and the other seemed a little too busy reading the ingredients in the back of the potato bag chips to the other girl. I then just went ahead and asked if they had my order and they quickly said they didn't get it. I thought I might have ordered from the wrong location so I went back to my car and double checked. It was from this location. I called back on the phone and asked if they had my food for "such and such." They did and got it ready. Funny part was when I got back to the counter. I asked again if they had my order. They said they had it. So I waited. After a long 5 seconds no one moved. Finally, the girl who was reading there ingredients from the potato bag chips asked, "oh you are picking up?" Lol The bag was right behind her. Not sure why they didn't want to give me my food from the beginning, but I did find it peculiar. Was it me they didn't want to give service to, or was it just bad customer service. Regardless, I wouldn't want someone like that working for me. 4 star for a fast food. Minus 2 for customer service! read more

The absolute WORST customer service I've ever encountered when trying to place an order. Attempted calling to order a tray for my colleagues and I and was put on hold for 12 minutes. Tried calling back several times and there is NO proper greeting. They answer the phone and quickly say Primo Hoagies, please hold EACH TIME! I had to call another location (Ritner St) which was a COMPLETE different experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING FROM THIS LOCATION. Ever. Upper management needs to train their employees on customer service. read more

The old Italian was fine. That's what my husband likes. My favorite of is usually the vegetarian hoagie which is made with broccoli rabe, eggplant, sharp provolone, sweet peppers etc. I got the small so no seeded bread (my husband's was kind of stale anyway) but I knew that. I was rather disappointed as it was tasteless and really scrimped on my the cheese. Something was spicy which I am a wimp when it comes to that. For the vegetarian one, don't do it! There is a way better local place at 10th and Federal. read more

Maybe it's because I ordered on a Sunday, but....the sandwich was not good. 3 stars due to previous experiences with this location. I ordered my usual: tuna diablo with a little oil and mayo, and hot+sweet peppers on the side. I think the order taker was new, because I had to repeat my order 3 times after she kept repeating it back to me incorrectly. The roll tasted stale, and I had to search to find the oil or mayo. I was not happy after spending close to $9 for a sandwich. I didn't bother to ask for it to be cut in half because that detail of my order is always hit or miss for me at this location. Order during the week when they are fully staffed-their sandwiches are usually really good. read more

Big mistake going in for a quick bite. We hadn't yet gotten our Philly cheesesteaks, so we figured we'd try theirs in case time got away from us and we didn't get a chance to go to our preferred cheesesteak place...Unfortunately service was incredibly slow. And the cheesesteaks were terrible. No flavor. Nowhere near enough meat cheese or onion in relation to their bread. We all had the cheesesteaks...so I can't speak to their other sandwiches. And it was a mistake to order a cheese steak at any place that wasn't a real cheesesteak place, but c'mon if you are in Philly and dare to have one on your menu...it better be good. Our quick bite turned into a long and irritating stop. read more
