Wow, that was a great sub. Hoagie. Sandwich. Whatever you call it, this was tasty. I followed the Yelp crowd and went with the Chicken Diablo. It was quite hot, with a Buffalo sauce that was nearly straight Tabasco. Whew! Plenty of chicken and cheese on here and the sweet peppers were very tasty. Even the Primo (medium) size is a goodly amount of food here.

RUDE cashier, (Racist) I believe so...I'm not sure if the guy understands "Everything" because he ask Mayo!sweets (yes!)

Who puts starch on a starch? Anyway, the crab quesadilla is amazing. The chicken cheesesteak will rival the best in the area (Mazzella's is the best, and they don't starch their frozen fries)...the boneless wings aren't as good as The Hideaway, but they're damn good. They could step up their game by upping their Blue Cheese (Two Stones Pub is hands down the best)...and Happy Hour beers remind me of the 80's with their prices. So my official rating after 4 visits in the last 2 months is a VERY Good. To add, their entertainment is a good selection of various styles. I'd like to see a Tues or Weds acoustic Happy Hour.

My experience with the food and service was always good from the very first dinner. Their steamed clams and Prime rib were excellent and the service from my waitress "Suzzie" was perfect. Entertaining at the REEF is not limited to one genre..the place covers many types of music from Rock to Soul. Totally entertaining. If you want a good meal and a fun time with by the way no cover charge "The Reef" is the place to be seen at Carpenter Station in Wilmington.

They came out in a seashell. I don't know what that sauce was that they were covered in, but I wanted to drink it. I'm a ribeye person. I asked Marc should I get the tomahawk for two or the Porter house for two? He suggested if I'm a ribeye person to get the tomahawk It was cooked to perfection. My cousin and I shared it and we ate every bite. It came in a big plate with carrots and potatoes and green beans. It was so much food, but it was so good. We ate at all. Also got a side of focaccia bread, which was outstanding All the drinks we had were made with love, and the atmosphere was really good too Are waitress Mia also gets five stars She was great Anyway, I'll be going back there very soon and I recommend if you're reading my review that you will love it too I want to thank all the staff at snuff Mill for making our night a memorable one

My friend and I arrived a bit early for our reservation, but were quickly greeted and offered a beverage menu. Their cocktail options are creative and constantly changing, often featuring some unique foam toppers. On this particular occasion, I started with the Strawberry Kiwi Spice Margarita, which included some cardamom to add depth and warmth to the fruity drink. I also ordered the Apricot Ginger Sour, a consistent favorite bourbon cocktail with a little zing from the lemon foam on top. Both drinks were excellent. For starters, we selected a few of the fresh oysters as well as a scallop special made with a lemon beurre blanc. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and I was grateful the dish came with sourdough to sop up every last drop of that delicious beurre blanc. My entree was where things went awry. I tend toward pescetarian options and selected the lone fish on the menu that night: skate wing. My first few bites were great, though slightly oversalted. However, eventually the mouthfeel evolved into a burning, ammonia taste, and I unfortunately wasn't able to finish the dish. My friend who also had the skate wing, however, did not have that experience (and I tried a bite of hers to confirm, too!). I know skate wing can be tricky to prepare and this is a known potential issue, but it was disappointing. Luckily, dessert was fabulous once again --- we chose the coconut creme brulee which was delightful. I'm sure I'll be back. Just no skate wing for me!

I will say I took a star off for the steak, I've been to a few of the big ones in Philly and I'm not sure this place is up to par but it's good and the side dishes....omg phenomenal. I literally dream about the salad and carrots. Amazing flavors! The service is good, can be hit or miss depending on the day but I feel like that's anywhere in Wilmington. Overall, I recommend to those who haven't been or someone looking for a good meal in Wilmington. Don't skip those side dishes though! They are truly the stars of the show.

We walked into the spot around 5:45PM. Not too busy at this point. A style reminiscent of fibbage 3 of jackbox set to a psychedelic beat. Appears to be popular among the 30-somethings. Well-dressed, young servers with a friendly work culture and dimly lit yellow light type of vibe. Service was appropriate and formal yet personable. We were given insight on the menu and were walked through all of the steak options. We started off with the drinks. Our server, Austin, suggested the lemon drop and espresso martinis were some of the best on this side of the Mississippi. You could taste no alcohol in either of these drinks. The lemon drop was sweet with strong lemon-head-esque flavors. The espresso martini might be mistaken for an espresso outside of this context. I had a boring old fashioned which tasted like a sweet citrusy bourbon. The drinks overall were tasty and I would not be reserved about ordering one but they can run the tab pretty quickly. The menu is divided into snacks, steak, sides, and other entrees. The snacks are a bite or two among a party of four. 2-3 sides and an entree will feed a party of 4-6. We started with some snacks: the brioche buns, Swedish meatballs, and lamb gnocchi. The brioche buns had a soft chewy interior and a honey-glazed, lightly crispy exterior. They were served with a pad of butter that tasted like butter. This will come out sooner than your other snacks. It is advised to eat this with your saucier dishes but we couldn't wait that long. High value for your meal. We approached the lamb gnocchi next. There was half an ounce of braised lamb in a brown sauce over a home-made gnocchi in a pool of spiced broth. The braised lamb was melt in your mouth tender which paired nicely with the lightly chewy gnocchi. Almost a bite as satisfying as mochi although the texture was completely different. The curveball was the broth. If you've had Maggi noodles (an Indian instant noodle staple) it tastes almost exactly like this broth except maybe a bit thicker. This was a fun dish. We indulged in two sides: the house salad and the loaded potato. The house salad tasted like a creamy Caesar with crunchy bits. Good variety of greens textures. It's no roots natural kitchen but certainly goes well with the meats and starch you'll encounter at bardea. The loaded potatoes also paired well with the beef. I think the potato was simply sliced into 1/2 slices, breaded in panko, and deep fried. Similar in flavor to a McDonald's hash brown. A rich, smoky white sauce accompanied the potato slices as well as the green sauce which I don't really remember. We shared a delicious whole branzino as well. We were given the option to have the head attached or detached. My fave part is the head, eyes, and cheeks so detachment was not an option. It's mostly deboned but there are some bones so be careful. No sauce but there is intense flavors in the crispy skin. The Angus porterhouse was a steak. Well-cooked to medium rare. Seared well on the outside and perfectly medium rare on the interior. Some cartilaginous bites that I didn't mind bc I have a bad habit of swallowing food. The rare seared fatty bit were my favorite. I love beef and this was a real treat . I am a student and this meal was my significant other's family treating me to a luxurious meal. Bardea facilitated a phenomenal pseudo-formal time to dress up and hang out in a celebratory fashion. However, this meal was very expensive. The value of the experience was okay. We ended up paying around $70 per person. If you like steakhouses, this isn't so bad although I might suggest hitting up Trolley afterwards if you're trying to have a comprehensive Saturday night.

First Visit to Taste & Sea's High Tea - A Hidden Gem!…read more I recently visited Taste & Sea in Glen Mills for their High Tea experience, and it was absolutely delightful. They have been offering High Tea since January 2026 and currently serve it on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. I chose the Royal Tea package, which includes a scone, your choice of quiche or soup, four assorted tea sandwiches, assorted petit desserts, and a pot of tea. Since I couldn't decide, I added both the quiche and soup for an additional $5, bringing my total to just $40. The soup and quiche were both delicious, although they were more of an oversized amuse-bouche portion than a full serving. The flavors, however, were outstanding. The tea sandwiches were equally enjoyable. While all four varieties were tasty, my favorites were the cucumber and chicken salad sandwiches. The highlight of the meal was the scone served with crème fraîche and raspberry honey jam. It was absolutely mouthwatering and truly elevated the entire tea experience. The assortment of petit desserts was also wonderful, especially the creamy cheesecake, which was my personal favorite. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. Lilly and Chrissy did a wonderful job throughout our visit. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed from start to finish. Their hospitality really enhanced the afternoon. I also appreciated that the venue is wheelchair and mobility-friendly, making it accessible and comfortable for guests with mobility concerns. It would be a wonderful venue for birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, ladies' gatherings, or any special occasion that calls for a memorable afternoon tea experience. Overall, this was a 10 out of 10 experience. The quality, presentation, service, atmosphere, and value were exceptional. As Taste & Sea continues to grow and develop its High Tea service, I'm excited to see what enhancements they introduce in the future. My only concern? Once more people discover this experience, there may be a waiting list! If you're considering trying it, I highly recommend making a reservation. It is a tremendous value and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. P.S. Before leaving, I took a look at the dinner menu, and several items caught my eye--especially the Toasted Brie and the Chicken Cordon Bleu. Based on my High Tea experience, I'll definitely be returning to give dinner a try.

Everyone - that is, - everyone but the guy paying - enjoyed their meals. My wife and I ordered the Australian Waygu steak and Lobster and included bottle of wine for 2 deal at $199. My wife cooks an excellent steak but I wanted to try Waygu and hearing the hierarchy of Waygu goes: Japan, Australia, USA I was expecting perfection. When it 1st came out it looked too rare. But again, not having Waygu before I just went with it figuring even a fair chef at steakhouse should know the proper temperature to cook this special cut of beef. What a mistake. The 1st piece I "tried" to cut into was like cutting into the bottom of my shoe. Those 1st half dozen bites I had to spit out they were so tough. The 2nd piece of the pre-sliced Waygu was still a very tough slice and very chewy. I asked my son (44) to try it and he took a piece from to other end. He could taste the difference from a ribeye or porterhouse but again, it was tough and not as expected from such a "so called" prized piece of beef. I went back and forth with myself about complaining. But, with the grandkids there, and my son giving his lukewarm evaluation, I just decided to keep my mouth shut. Maybe it was a mistake. But we will just spend our money elsewhere (like The House of William and Merry where we always have a fantastic dining experience) I will add our service was excellent. I think her name was Harrison, or something like this. She, and the staff, served us well.
