This is the upside down pizza. Mozzarella and provolone cheese, mhm.

I love Massimos and have been going there for years. Some people try to complain about the crust but the real ones know that's one of the main reasons you keep coming back. How annoying is it when you're eating a slice of pizza, get to the crust, and can't even eat it because it's so hard? Not at Massimos! The crust is perfectly soft and tasty. Even the leftovers will maintain that texture when reheated. Paired with the sweet sauce, this combo makes the pizza melt in your mouth. You'll finish every bite! (And that's not knocking the size, these pizzas are HUGE). The upside down style is bomb, the buffalo chicken with ranch is out of this world (I love ordering it with the red sauce because I just can't get enough of that sweet sauce). You bring this pizza to the party and your friends will be talking about it for a LOONNGG time. One critique? They're only open on the weekends. I need this all week baby!

Probably one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had. Great flavor. The thin crust pizza is very close to the iconic "Manco & Manco" on the OC boardwalk. Oh the fries are classic. MP is a destination.

The plain slice. Bowling alley style.

Back in the day, we'd hang out at the bowling alley with friends to throw a few games and eat. The snack bar did the best they could and at the time, we thought it was great food. The pizza was mostly bread, the sauce tasted like it was out of a can and the cheese was nondescript. But for pre-teen kids, it was good enough. I thought about those days as I grabbed a slice and a soda at the only pizza spot in Booths Corner. I sat at the counter and waited for the waitress and I believe manager to finish discussing whether or not someone was working the next day. I don't know - call me old fashioned - but the customer at the counter should have been more important. Eventually the manager (owner?) came over and cleaned up the mess left behind by the last patron. I ordered a plain slice and a small soda. Price wise it was a steal as I think it was $2 a slice. There were at least 15-18 options I could have picked for a slice but when reviewing I always go old school. The small slice I got was hot on the bottom and warm at best inside. The tomato sauce was so-so. The slice was mostly bread with a little crisp to it. Cheese was ok. Not a great slice in my mind. Reminded me of the old bowling alley snack bar. The good news is that it's a typical Delco pizza and therefore, the average Delcoian doesn't seem too demanding based on the number of mediocre pizzerias that are around. And this restaurant is always busy. They do have a huge menu with choices other than pizza slices. Price wise they are very fair. I'll be back to try something else another time.

New owners ruined the business. I used to enjoy a nice pizza pie with my family on Friday nights but now I can't. These people are awful.

I ordered three pizzas: Upside down, White & Pepperoni. Ordered three sandwiches: One chicken steak, two beef steak. Wings: two orders. For starters we loved the wings - crispy and meaty and not at all greasy. The pizzas were also a hit. The thin crispy crust was great and cooked just right. All of them were delicious but our favorite was the pepperoni. The cheesesteaks - wow!! Seriously the BEST cheesesteaks in town. You can taste the cheese in every single bite. The sandwiches were loaded with chicken or beef and the seeded roll was fresh. The only thing that could have been better? The pizza temperature. Oddly, when we arrived home (about 10 minutes later), the pizzas weren't hot? The wings and the cheesesteaks were both perfect. Ordering and pick up was a breeze. The staff were friendly and the food was very good. Our only regret is that we haven't tried this place sooner! We will definitely be back. Hopefully the pizza will be hot.

Place was pretty cool inside, old school vibes with the flooring, wall posters, and even video games. Had to wait about twenty minutes for a table for three, not a big deal, as it was a Friday night and somewhat expected. Prices were a little high, but not crazy. Service was good, food came out fairly quickly. Ordered a couple of pizzas, steak sandwich and fries. Round pizza was decent. Detroit was underwhelming, and was really hard to eat. It was very difficult to get off of the screen, very sloppy, not a lot of crisp-was really hoping for a better pie. Steak sandwich was fine-roll was decent, meat was seasoned, but didn't really set itself apart. I will say the bar area had a really good vibe, and I could maybe see myself returning for a couple of drinks and maybe some apps. Wish I could give a three and a half, but unfortunately it didn't really earn a four for me.

I love supporting local mom and pop shops and I'm so happy I found Amores Kitchen. We met Candi (owner), her son Raymond James and her mother. Everyone that works there is family or like family; only those she trusts to serve top quality food that she would. The Philly cheesesteak was amazing!!! I didn't have to go to downtown while the Eagles played and sit in traffic because Amores Kitchen was soooooo good. Candi asked if I wanted my bread toasted or if I liked soft squishy bread. My personal preference for all sandwiches is soft. I got the works and I devoured it! My husband got the chicken parm sandwich and he loved it. Perfectly cooked chicken, melted cheese and perfect amount of sauce on a toasted hoagie roll. My son got wings and they were delicious. We got it with sauce on the side so it isn't a mess to eat. Crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The French fries, extra crispy with salt and pepper were by far the best fries we've ever had! Only regret is we didn't get more or stop in to get more due to our long drive. The garlic bread is more like garlic strips. Great garlic flavor with butter and herbs, served with a side of their marinara. Their sauce is on the sweeter side which we love. When we make sauce from scratch, we definitely add sugar to balance the acidity so it right up our alley. Candi is the baker there and she makes everything from scratch. They only had chocolate chip cookies available that afternoon. You can taste the homemade love Candi put into it. There's no sit down area. It's a takeout place but there seemed to be many regulars picking up and Candi knew their names. I witnessed it while waiting for our order. It truly is a mom and pop shop and a hidden gem to out of towners looking for places to eat. When I return to the area, this will be my go-to. I've already sent friends over. Candi, I hope to see you again!

We didn't have reservations but were still able to sit outside on their enclosed patio with a tinkling fountain. My daughter and I loved the Gondola Ride with citrus vodka and limoncello. It was a refreshing, summertime drink. For the 3-course price fixed, we tried the lasagna noodle soup which was unique and delicious. My corn cappellacci (not on the price-fixed menu) was a new entree. The pasta was light and airy, and the corn and shrimp made it a tasty dish perfect for a summer night. For dessert, the gelato twist with banana was heavenly.
