I had some work right down the road and had seen this place going in and figured we would grab something on the way out. We didn't go into the Antique building and the winery was closed while we were there. The main building up front has a very interesting interior. They have a food counter that advertised sandwiches, pizza and ice cream, however even at noon the day we were there, there was not one working in that area. They have some really cool little displays, a cool old since set up with the soap area, there is a few boats set up inside and an old truck, the bathroom area looks like a cabin. The far section of the store is a boutique with all sores of female clothing, and boots. There is everything from cheese, canned goods, beer cave and a wine tasting area to try the local bourbon and wine, but again it appeared that was not opened. What a cool place! Beer bus is fun, 30ish on tap (although mostly domestics, not microbrews). Pizza is SO GOOD! Make your own--unlimited toppings. Ready in a few minutes. Service was friendly and helpful. And the store--we could have wandered for a long time! A gem in Clinton!! We'll be back! read more

Last year I was here and did the wine tasting which is in the building along 7hwy. I bought a nice red wine which they said was the most popular. I was here this week with a bunch of ladies, and we did lunch in their building that's a restaurant, bar, shop, Ice cream parlor. They do an AWESOM pizza! SO DELICIOUS! It's a huge brick oven for baking. For one price you can get whatever toppings you want. The pizza comes out a wonderful medium (not thick, not thin) crust that's soft yet has a slight crispness that makes it awesome. It comes out hot with the delicious cheese of your choice melting over all the deliciousness. People talk about the beer bus. I have not tried it, but it is part of a bus attached to the inside of the building in the bar area with a slew of taps on the side of the bus. There's a new antique building now open by the main building by the highway. There is a lot to experience at Old Crow. It's good to have a couple hours to do everything. read more

I would give this place a 5 star review if the girls who take your money and make your pizza would say "Thank you!" They were short and not very friendly. Maybe they need more training in customer service! The pizza was wonderful! But for us old folks we need customer service with the good food!! read more

Brick oven pizza was fantastic and the cheesy bread even better. The beer taps out of the side of a bus is very cool. Lots of selections and their wine is awesome. My favorite is Shut The Front Door...so smooth. Great place to relax and even some shopping for unique finds. Definitely worth the trip. read more

Heading to the lake we saw this sign and said we were going to stop by after our adventure at HA HA Tonka, but let me tell you!!! Wow this place is amazing, the pizza was delicious and quickly made, everyone here treated us like we were part of the family! Owners (husband & wife) came over to talk to us. We felt like we were somewhere where we belonged! Definitely stopping by again and enjoy the outside sitting they have ver calm relaxing!! Have made a tradition of stopping by Primitive Crowe for pizza for the past few years in the way to/from the lake and used to love this place. Not sure what has happened, but the pizzas have dramatically shrunk to about 6 inches in size and is mostly dough at this point. Not remotely worth $12 a pizza. Not sure what has happened, but will not be stopping by anymore and based on another post, other customers have also noticed as well. read more

This review is for their pizza. I travel all over The U.S and the pizza here ranks right at the top for best pizza! The thin crust is done just right and ingredients are fresh. You have the option of cubed mozzarella, shredded asiago and shredded parmesan cheeses. They only do individual pizzas and you can put as many ingredients on that you want for one price. $9.95. There is a store with plenty of cool stuff and LOTS of homemade spices for sale. Didn't try any wine, but they have a cool bar with local wine and a good beer selection. I came in here for the first time last week and everything was WAY overpriced!! They're selling junk and pawning it off as 'antiques'. The pizza was ok, the only bright spot was a girl with red hair, I think her name was Anne. Don't waste your time here, everything is way overpriced, including the wine (which was mediocre at best), and the pizza was just ok, definitely not worth $10 for the size you get (about the size of a plate). read more

Primitive Olde Crow and Winery is a beautiful, rustic restaurant and antique shop just outside of Clinton, MO. It is definitely a "must-see" for anyone traveling through the area. The brick oven pizza is to amazing and they have a fully stocked bar including some signature wines specially made for their business. The atmosphere is wonderful with occasional live music on the weekends and a shop that is full of vintage finds, antiques, and collectibles. In addition to all of this they have the most amazing new event barn that they will be able to host weddings and other events in.
