We found the last table (lots of tables but they get busy!!!) on a Saturday evening-- and brought wing span so we hung out, ate, and played for several hours. TableTop is an excellent stop for anyone interested in card games, board games, puzzles, unique finds, Warhammer materials, or groups to join! First of all, TableTop has an excellent selection of games and other related materials. I've never seen so many Settlers of Catan or Ticket to Ride expansions, but if you need them, they're available! They also just have so many games that I would have never seen before, so I always make sure to have a while to look around to find new things. Second--everyone who works there is SO GREAT and very, very knowledgeable. I can't tell you how much more exciting this makes the experience because they are willing to spend time and give options based on what you're looking for. During my last visit, I got to share some of the games I really liked, and we vowed to come back and share about our experiences next time! Love this place. Basically, I'd give them all my money if that was a feasible option. Thanks for all the great games, suggestions, and interactions, TableTop!

They also have a section for gamers to sit and play together. We found some unique games in the store. My daughter liked the Hello Kitty Candyland. The prices were fair, only couple of bucks more than Amazon, which is understandable for a physical store location. There were also multiple associates in the store. All of them were friendly, looking to assist customers. Some were very enthusiastic talking about different games and the strategies.

Their trade in percentage for store credit is higher than anywhere else in KC, and they sell at market value for preorders etc which everywhere else around here seems to jack the price majorily depending on how popular a set of cards is going to be (MTG and pokemon primarily is what i am referring to). They have a ton of other board games in here that you won't find at a normal store, as well as alot of local handmade items. They do TCG events as well that you can sign up for to play in tournaments etc. This is Def your one stop card shop. Not to mention the employees are all super kind and very inclusive.

Super fun concept, and they serve some snacks and drinks too! We tried some coffee from here, and it was strong and delicious. The cocktails we had were good but not great. Tasted a bit bland and underwhelming. I had a cocktail that sounded tropical with coconut water, but it tasted more like apple juice. But overall, would recommend to get a group of friends together to play some fun games.

I ordered a hot vanilla latte after I arrived about 9 a.m. After 10:30 a.m., sandwiches became available, and I ordered a Mousetrap, featuring thinly sliced apple, various cheeses, and spinach on wheatberry, slathered in garlic butter and pressed (so good!) with some kettle chips. They delivered the sandwich on a TV tray set next to my table, which was such a great idea to maintain space for work or board games. The menu features coffee, cocktails, sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas, etc. A cooler along one wall holds a variety of beverages, including energy drinks. Excited to return to play games.

They have plenty of seating to fit all of us, and they offer alot of high top tables as well for people playing Warhammer. Its always busy in here, they have pretty good pricing on snacks and drinks, and they always have the latest drops usually for new sets as well. The guys that work here are also super chill, we come in enough that they know us somewhat. Always super nice, and help out with anything we might need. If we are there super late, sometimes they lock us in on the table side of the store and just have us use the back door when we leave so it doesn't interrupt our game we are wrapping up. 10/10 one of our favorite card shops in KCMO to come and play at.

But when a caucasian customer stood up there for just a second, that white employee immediately jumped up to help him. Meanwhile us as black customers just stood there confused. They barely had anything to choose from in their MTG Commander decks anyways. But just to not be greeted or recognized like they did the white man immediately says a lot about this "small" business. Im sure their business supports LGBTQ+ and other minorities, but their support stops at black customers. We went yesterday (Sep6th) around the evening time. Never again. Then the other POC employee sat down and ate his pizza rather than helping out attending to customers (like us) that came in the store; as if he didn't have work to do. This store needs to work on their customer service and professionalism. This small business is small for a reason, they seem to have never grown into bigger or better things....like their inventory. Believe us we did NOT spend our money here; we went to Spankys. I will be sticking with Spankys Card Shop from now on.
