No customer service. Stood at the gun counter for 15 minutes no one asked to help me. Planned on spending close $2500 there and the staff was to busy standing around to help me. read more

For a town of 9000 this is a great store. They carry lots of sporting goods. Really great fishing products. They know what they are doing regarding bow and bow hunting. If you are in to waterfowl, decoys and equipment they have it. And you will get great help in the gun department. I really like this store! read more

I bought a pistol here Nov, 3rd 2017. the pistol came with a laser holster package which started out to be what I thought was a good deal. a few days later while trying to sight the laser in, I realized they had installed the wrong laser on my gun not allowing it to be sited in. When I called them and explained what had happened I was told to bring it back, and they would replace it with the right one. I explained that I live north of Kansas city could they check to see if they have the right one before I drive all the way there for nothing. the Kid I was talking to acted like it was an inconvenience to go check. He came back on the phone, and said they would have to order it and it would be there on Monday. I asked if he could give me a call when it was ordered and an exact date for delivery. I asked him what the difference in price was between the green laser vs the red and he replied about 60.00. I suggested for my inconvenience of having to take a half a day off from work to drive back to Clinton and he said he couldn't do that. I said fine order the replacement. The kicker is not one time did he apologize for any of their mistakes. A week later on Friday I took of work and drove 1.30 hours one way to pick up my laser, When I told the same kid that I was there to pick up my laser, he called to the back to have them bring it up front. the guy from the back called back and said that UPS had it on back order. Hum, sounds fishy to me. It sounds like they forgot to order it and then lied about it. Still no apology or any type of offer for the inconvenience they had caused me. I know their the only game in town, but I hope anyone that doesn't live in Clinton area to beware because they know nothing about customer service. As a customer service manager for over 30 yrs. I would lose my job giving our customers this quality of service. read more

Good independent outdoor store, one of the few remaining. They have a very solid selection of fishing, hunting and boating gear.

Everhart's in Clinton, MO has not closed. The store on Wesmor closed under a different owner. The new store (4/2009) is now open and owned by the grandson of the "Smokey" Everhart - Mike Everhart. We are open Monday - Thursday 7 am to 6 pm, Friday 7 am to 7 pm and Saturday 7 am to 6 pm. We are closed on Sunday's. Come buy and see us. read more
