This winery is such a change from the small town that is about 10 minutes away from it. The staff here are warm, friendly and as bubbly as the the wine they provide to their guests. The food is fresh and made to order which is phenomenal. The prices for the wines and the foods are super reasonable. That's where the location and the place itself, the owners really did a great job with detail and making it warm and welcoming to both families, couples, and anyone looking to just relax and have some ambiance. The winery overlooks a small Lake in the back. They also have cornhole and live entertainment on some nights. There's enough space in this location to have parties and still accommodate individual guest. It didn't look like a high crime area, so I was a little puzzled by that. I will say that the woman behind the counter was obliging, told us about the wines, and let us sample a few. Feeling a little sheepish--and even a little intrusive--about being the only ones there, we got glasses of wine, rummaged through the too-sparse collection of table games, drank the wine, and left. One truck passed on the road the entire time. I can't give this place a high review, based on this bizarre, minimalistic experience as a customer, but I don't want to say it is bad, either. You can explore the beautiful property via horse back riding. Our guide Dylan was personable and knowledgeable of the property. They have a petting zoo right next to the tasting room with the cutest and friendliest animals. What really took the cake though was the overnight getaway. After a full day of drinking wine, speaking with the owners, enjoying the views, and petting the animals. We stayed in the covered wagon where we enjoyed a beautiful starry night. Isinglass truly has it all and I can't wait to go back!
