The donuts are still delicious: soft, fresh, and not too sweet, but what really surprised me is their new drink menu! Their Vietnamese coffee is bold, smooth, and definitely worth trying!

    Great selection of donuts

I am visiting Dana Point for the day and love this place! Great Vietnamese coffee and donut selection. Very sweet young lady with great customer service. I will back again! Chris D

This local donut shop is a gem here in Dana Point. It is a great alternative to Starbucks and they have more variety for food options. I work next door and I'd rather support a local business than a huge chain, and everything about Primi is fabulous from customer service to the quality of their products. The employees always offer us free donuts to try and even give us boxes of free donuts at the end of the day if they have leftovers. Very kind staff!! Support local businesses!!!

Very friendly service and excellent donuts. Very fresh, highly recommended! Nice selection, and plenty of parking up front.

    Looks good tastes awful.

Hate to give such a low rating but although this donut looked delicious it was probably the worst donut I've had in South Orange County. Honestly, it was not as good as what I would get at a grocery store. It was just so dry and not even worth the calories. The employees who work here seem nice and the location is great. I have always wondered about this place and now I don't have to wonder. I will not go back!

Ridiculously overpriced for an average donut. 10.50 for 2 donuts and 2 8oz boxed milks.

Our go-to favorites are the chocolate cronut (dangerous), the glazed old fashioned, and their cake donuts -- the kind that remind you why donuts were invented in the first place. But here's what most people don't realize... The deli is a hidden gem. My wife's favorite is their American Mexi-Cal style breakfast burrito -- and for good reason. Huge, insanely good value, big crispy buttery potatoes, soft chewy tortillas, and a portion size that laughs at inflation. I recently had their Boar's Head deli-sliced ham and cheese on sourdough with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles, and I genuinely don't have the vocabulary to describe how soft and perfect that sandwich was. It's not "good for a donut shop." It's just really good. But honestly? The food is only part of why this place matters to us. Our kids practically grew up here. Dave and Dani have known our family since before our kids were even born. They've seen both of our children grow -- literally from in the womb, to infants, to toddlers, and now our kids are 2 and 7 years old. We'll be posting photos through the years because... yeah, this place is part of our family history. That's not something you can fake. This is one of those rare neighborhood spots where you sit for hours in the morning, coffee in hand, talking with locals, laughing, and catching up. It's where the community actually feels like a community. The owners, Dave and Dani, are some of the kindest, most genuine people you'll ever meet. Dave is basically a big kid himself (especially when it comes to cars) and somehow always finds ways to surprise my kids with random little toys -- the kind of moments kids remember forever. I grew up in a small town in Virginia, out of my own mom's deli and convenience store -- where locals gathered over coffee, the Washington Post (and yes... cigarettes back then ). Living on the West Coast without family nearby, Niguel Bakery & Donuts gives me that same feeling of home. This is a place where kids can still feel safe like the old days -- riding bikes with friends, scraping together change for a snack... and if they're a little short and have been on their best behavior, Dave and Dani might just take care of them anyway. That kind of generosity can't be taught -- it's who they are. It's an East Coast bodega-style bakery/deli, right here in Laguna Niguel, and they don't just talk about community -- they show it through the countless non-profit events, food donations, and local causes they support. If you're looking for more than just donuts -- if you want great food, real people, and a place that feels like home -- this is it. We'll be here tomorrow morning. And the next day. And probably for years to come.

We stopped by on a Friday morning to grab a few donuts, and the experience was great from the start. The workers were fun, energetic, and super helpful. Nice clean and modern shop with a wall of donuts We couldn't decide what to order, but another customer told us we *had* to try the apple fritter and wow, they were right. That apple fritter was SO good, fresh, warm, perfectly soft, and not overly sweet. Honestly, perfection. We grabbed a few other donuts too, and while most were great, one tasted like it may have been sitting out a bit longer and wasn't nearly as good. So my advice: go early and get them fresh because that's when these donuts really shine. If you're in the area and craving fresh donuts, definitely check them out!
