In the future, if someone is asking that question, what I would have preferred is for them to simply say: "to speak with a loan officer, an appointment is needed. Can I make you an appointment?" I would have made my appointment and came back at the time set. Hope my future interactions with logix reps will be different as this is the location that I would like to go into if ever needed. With that being said, after having lunch at Burger King, the Van Nuys KIA was literally 7 minutes away. I have always liked those compact Korean cars. Walked in on the 17th of this month at 4:20pm, and was nicely greeted by one of their car salesman --Harry, and his general manager by the name of Hossaine. Both professional, nice gentlemen. Harry took over and took me to their cubicles to discuss with me what my options are. After showing some nice cars on the computer such as KIA Forte--2023, KIA k-4 LXS, 2025, which cost $22,117.00 and few others. They also do loans, financing, trade ins too. I was mostly interested in a white car, between the range/year 2023-2025. There was something that caught my eye and I asked Harry if I can test drive that car. He said sure, will be right back in about 10 minutes, because the car that I was interested in was in a different lot. Harry was gone for a good 35 minutes and I had to go pick my son up from work. Told Hossane to call and let him know that I have to go and for him to hurry back. Guess what? After he got back, I noticed that he got the car that I wanted in black color. I asked for white. His response was that "the white one wasn't ready yet". What?? I still agreed to take the black KIA for a test drive. He photocopied my drivers license and we went for a 10 minute drive. The car itself felt like a toy in my hands as I was driving. After owning a 2003 BMW, the suspension of the wheel was super light. Eventually I would have gotten used to it. The dealership was SUPER SPOTLESS clean along with their restrooms. You could see your own reflection on their floors. That's how clean it was. They have amenities such as: complimentary coffee, water, 2 vending machines, popcorn popper, waiting area and everything was full, nice and clean. Including all the glasses of the amenities, windows, doors. It was also nicely decorated with blue and white balloons. All employees were nice, helpful and friendly. They also have their service department which has been moved to Sepulveda blvd. Since I had to rush, I will get back to them sometime next week after consulting with my family. I contacted Infiniti of Van Nuys already approved for financing through my own credit union at 4.49% APR. I clearly told Moe, the General Sales Manager, that I had my own financing. He repeatedly told me that outside financing was not an option and presented this to me as an official Infiniti policy -- that I was required to finance through the dealership. He even told me that even if their rate were 11%, I would still have to take their financing because there was "no other option," and then refinance the loan myself afterward. I already had approved financing at 4.49%. Based on what he represented as an Infiniti requirement, I completed their credit application. I was told my credit would only be run once, yet multiple inquiries appeared. The dealership then offered me approximately 6.9% APR. Moe's behavior was also extremely unprofessional and intimidating. He yelled at me, became aggressive when I questioned the financing, hung up on me, and repeatedly called me "habibti" and used "yalla." I had no personal relationship with this man and gave him no reason to address me with this kind of familiarity. As a woman dealing alone with a male General Sales Manager, combined with the yelling and pressure, I found this extremely intimidating and inappropriate. Most concerningly, I repeatedly instructed him in writing to stop working on my deal and revoked authorization for any further credit submissions or inquiries. This was not a one-time request -- I repeated it multiple times over more than 3 hour. Despite that, he continued contacting me and later texted: "Im still working on the deal." Screenshots are attached. I then contacted Infiniti Financial Services directly and learned that I did not need this dealership to complete my lease buyout at all. IFS provided the payoff documentation directly so I could proceed with my own financing -- directly contradicting what had been presented to me as an "Infiniti policy." Because the unwanted contact continued despite my repeated written requests to stop, I documented everything and filed a police report. I am particularly concerned because the dealership obtained sensitive personal information through my credit application, including information from my driver's license. Given everything that has already happened, their continued access to this information makes the unwanted contact even more concerning to me. If the unwanted contact continues or escalates, I am prepared to seek legal guidance and pursue a restraining order if appropriate. "Stop contacting me" should have been the end of the matter.

She did her very best to accommodate me at the earliest possible time at my convenience even though that she has worked late the previous day. She has spontaneously communicated to me by sending photos and possible terms for financing even if she does not have to. Even at the following day to have the car prepped up early before the appointment. It seems like my story is a typical day to day grind on the sales in the automotive industry. My point is that I have never been cared for and no one really have the persistence to communicate to me even though there was not a guarantee that I would make the purchase. I have been shopping for a pre-owned vehicle and was never really treated like what Mehr did. I have been to other 4 dealership prior and left because I felt that I was not treated very well as a customer. I even got flaked by another sales person in a Huntington Beach dealership and never notified me that the vehicle that I set-up an appointment with has been sold the previous day and came the day we got to the place and car was no longer there and the sales person was not around for he called-in. Mind that I have to travel 79 miles one way from where I reside to the dealer location. Going back to the topic. You are in good hands if you get her as your agent. She explains the very detail of everything. I know that she did her very best because I could relate for I was in sales too from a different industry a very long time ago. Mehr truly is a gem.

Whether a customer is shopping for a $30,000 car or a $150,000 car, no one should be spoken to or judged that way - especially before the salesperson has made any effort to understand the customer. We weren't asking for special treatment. We simply came in ready to shop and expected basic professionalism and respect. Instead, we felt judged and disrespected enough that we walked away from the dealership. After being a Keyes customer for years, it's extremely disappointing that one interaction could completely change the way I view the dealership. Natually, she received no return calls, so I phoned them one day and told them, "This is [wife's name]'s husband. We are coming over tomorrow to pick up her car, which she brought in several days ago. Kindly have it ready for us." I drove her over there, and they returned the car without any fuss (we just showed them the paperwork). In fact, they hadn't done any work at all on it, so there was no charge. (Not that I wouldn't have disputed it if there had been.) You'd think that was the end of it, but a couple of days after we got her car back, my wife needed to put something in the trunk. She opened it, and there were several boxes of computer paper! Not only had Galpin done no work on the car, they casually used it for storage. I suppose we could have just kept the paper (or given it away), or at least charged them a storage fee, but we decided it wouldn't be worth the bother. We returned the paper to them.
