Renter BEWARE. If I could rate this place ZERO STARS, I would. Prime Storage acquired Life Storage in 2022. It has gone down hill fast since the aquisition. The building is not kept clean. People are living inside the units. People hang around outside the main entrance into the building, which is NEXT DOOR to the office and "piggyback" into the building. Since 2022, there has been a Fire and Water leak. Manchester Police have been notified on multiple occasions of recent events that have taken place. When you try to speak with an employee in person regarding their security and safety issues, the office is conveniently ALWAYS closed. If your office closes at 4pm on a Saturday, and your sign says closed until 3pm on a Saturday, (when this photo was taken at 2:30pm), what are your employees doing at this location? I do NOT recommend this place to anyone, even my worst enemy. If I knew then, what I know today, I would have never have kept my belongings here. Look elsewhere. read more

Stay clear of this storage facility. They bait you in with initial pricing then quickly raise their prices. Headquarters is somewhere in MA. The staff is very rude. The female employee has zero personality and never smiles. The access door nearest my unit broke almost a year ago and has not been fixed. You could literally pry the doors open by hand and gain access to the buildining. They claim they can't get the parts. They have recently raised my rent by $50. One of the reasons for the increase is 24hour access amongst other BS reasons. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY OTHER STORAGE FACILITY but this one. A ZERO RATING IS MORE APPROPRIATE!! read more

I placed my Ex's items in this storage facility (he knew) and paid the first month's rent (62 for rent & 13 for insurance) on March 24. My Ex is currently homeless, on EBT, and looking for employment, so he, unfortunately, did not clear the unit out in time and missed the April and May due dates. I was told that $150 was due on May 24th (covers May 24 - June 23 rent). I received an email on May 26th invoiced for $315 (62 + 62 for rent, 13 + 13 for insurance plus a $115 Old Lien Fee added 5/24 and $50 Lien Processing fee added 5/24). I was not warned of these fees and they surpassed the cost of the unit's rent/insurance by 110%. Shocked, I emailed back 5/27 asking about these fees to see if they can be removed and said the storage unit would be paid in full and cleared out prior to 6/24 (the new month). I received no reply. Again, I emailed 6/8 asking for answers about these exorbitant fees. I received a new invoice 6/9 stating $365, they added a $25 lock cutting fee (6/8 although they still did not respond to the last email) along with next month's rent and insurance (covers 6/24 - 7/23). I finally received a reply later that day on 6/8 saying they could only remove the $50 Lien Processing Fee and I need to pay $290 within 3 days and clear out the storage unit, since they would add an additional $100 in 4 days (June 13). This has been a nightmare, I just want to pay the rent and insurance that was used which is only $150 before next month starts on 6/24, and never use this place ever again. I cannot imagine a company willing to charge a homeless person $390 for them to access their items before next month even starts to empty their belonging when only two months' rent and insurance is due equalling $150 in total. This company is gouging poor people with these hidden fees, ignoring questions when they arise and making an absurd profit off people's weaknesses. read more

absolutely atrocious, they raise the prices up without sending an email saying that their prices went up. The elevator is always broken, even though when I bought the unit, it says access to elevator always granted which is not the Case whenever I come by, whenever I went by a couple days ago the doors are broken and kept on opening and closing, allowing anyone and everyone to come in and when I mentioned it to someone is on their way and shrugged me off. if you could afford anywhere else, you should do it don't belittle yourself to this place. Not to mention that when it's summertime, there are bugs everywhere inside. I also had a conversation with them about late fees because they tried to charge me a late fee a day after my build was paid even though there's a 4 to 5 day grace period and when I mentioned it to the woman that I was talking to, she said oh no, there's no late fee and then proceeds to tell me how an additional amount was added to the account and goes, but I can "meet you halfway" all she did was takeoff The late that I told her was there. In December I got an emergency phone call saying there had been a flood at this storage facility to please come and see if my things got damaged. From the photoes you can see they did. This facility makes you take their insurance. However when I turned in the claim they said it was surface water and they refused to cover any of the damages. I had so many this in things in this unit. I ask the lady yesterday if the owner of the property would cover the damages to which she said no. Over 3000 worth of damages. A California king pillow top mattress destroyed, Amish bookshelves, antiques. PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. RUN!!! When you pay someone to keep your stuff guarded, you expect it to be safe, especially if its their business. When I first signed up online, It was stated I could access the unit immediately. This wasn't the case. Each time I went there was another issue. Code not sent, nobody in the building and always one of their locks on the unit so I couldn't access it anyway. Finally ended up there on a day they were open but after finding nobody to help I called. I was finally put in touch with the person on site, who was super nice especially when faced with me being pretty pissed. (I did apologize:( not her fault the place has issues. Then I was told it was her who was emailing me. I requested a refund for the time I had been unable to access the unit. 2 months later still waiting on that. I have been to the unit 6 times. Not one time was there a cart to be found. I have wasted hours waiting for someone to hunt one down after I had no luck. I was told there were 50 on premises. No way. I have seen 2. And one of those was stuck on the second floor as the elevators were broken. Today I asked I'd the other 20 they said were ordered were in or was I on a wild goose chase again. They are on back order. Well seeing as the ace just opened shouldn't they be prepared before taking peoples money? No response to emails. Broken elevators. No carts. I'm paying to have my stuff moved out somewhere else. Don't waste your time. It will be wasted. I left twice with stuff in my car unable to get a cart or anyone to help me.
