I just want to express my sincere gratitude for great service from Sadie answering the emergency call 4:30 AM Saturday morning and to Ben who made the emergent repairs. I woke up to a house temperature of 40 degrees with an outside temperature of -17. Even though I recently had the furnace serviced, the forced hot air blower of the 25+ year old heating system decided to die that night. Quickly I started fires in our fireplaces, wood burning Glenwood stove and plugged in an electric heater in our bathroom in hopes of keeping the pipes from freezing. I called Vaillancourt in hopes of getting added to an expected list of emergent calls. I must have been the first caller, and Ben arrived within a short time to repair the heating system. Luckily he knew they had some parts they had salvaged from previous jobs and suspected they might have a used blower. He came back with a similar blower, reinstalled it and heat was restored by middle of that morning. In the meantime I was able to maintain a temperature of 38 degrees in the house burning firewood and using the electric heater. No pipes froze. I couldn't have thanked Ben enough as he quickly left to go help the next person on the list. I strongly recommend Vaillancourt Fuels for servicing heating systems and providing timely fuel deliveries at fair prices. Thanks again Vaillancourt! Sincerely, Mark Pallin read more
