Years ago, I purchased a water softener treatment system from Secondwind Water Systems Inc. I chose…read morethem because they were a customer of mine and had excellent reviews. During the quoting and installation process, they were everything you hope for--consultative, educational, and professional. Since then, their ongoing service has remained top-notch--prompt, proactive, friendly, and helpful. About a year and a half ago, I started noticing a sulfur odor in my water. I called in, and my sales rep personally guided me through how to shock the well and troubleshoot the issue. He also said, "If this doesn't solve it, I'll help you upgrade the system." He followed up a few times after that to check in--no pressure, just care. Fast forward to today: I decided it was time for the upgrade. I sent an email. Within 20 minutes, the same rep was on the phone. He remembered me. Within an hour, he was at my house. He explained what was happening, walked me through the solution, provided a quote, explained next steps, and even scheduled a follow-up to ensure satisfaction. That's what earns repeat business. I won't shop around. That's what earns trust. That's what earns referrals shouted from rooftops. This is the kind of experience we should all strive to deliver--and it's a reminder that great sales aren't flashy. They're grounded in reliability, responsiveness, and relationships.

It had a power vent. Nothing fancy. It was a replacement for one that was leaking. I will never use Heritage again and I'll periodically remind Heritage and anyone looking for review just how much of a price gouge that was. I'll bet I could have gotten something for $3000 or less that is just as good. This price was AWFUL. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It's stupid that I need to give this any stars. None are deserving.

Trish is the General Manager at this location. She was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the pool installation process. From the moment I first spoke with her, and to this day, she was and is quick to respond to my thoughts and inquiries. Having no knowledge of pools, she provided me with her honest opinions and made me feel at ease. I had a vision, and E-Z Test Pool delivered. The pool contractors are D&P Swimming Pool Inc. This company is owned by Dave & Pat O'Keefe who have been working in the pool business since high school. Anyway, Dave was at the house every day of the installation (and prior, with Trish to scope out and finalize the location of the pool) and he and his men are nothing short of professional, hard workers. Dave and his crew were punctual, proficient, and systematized. I highly, highly recommend them. I met Pat later on at the store when picking up some pool chemicals, and he was just as pleasant to be around. E-Z Test Pool Supplies deserves every 5-star rating they have received. I am very happy with my pool (I have attached pictures to this review) and am super excited it is almost pool season again! I will stick with E Z Test Pools for all of my pool needs going forward. Hardworking, Knowledgeable & Affordable Handyman…read more Have you been searching hard for a reliable handyman who knows what the hell he is doing but you're not getting anywhere? Well so have I. A handyman is not just another contractor for large projects but he is the one which you will always need for mid-size & small projects. In a way, it's a marriage for life; therefore, you need to find the right one. For a long while, I have been investigating the top San Diego County's handymen, their Licenses, Bonds, Insurance, BBB, Background & Reviews. I hire a lot of contractors & I always investigate them thoroughly; therefore, almost all my contractors are the best of the best. Read my reviews for some of the top contractors of each field. After a lengthy research & investigation, I came up with a short list & finally it all came down to "The Traveling Toolbox" as the handyman of my choice. I give myself credit to find this fine gentleman Michael Fitzgerald, the owner of The Travelling Toolbox. He is a third generation of substantial & solid handymen. His grandfather, father, uncle & cousins were & are handymen. There were streets in El Cajon named after them because they built parts of El Cajon. The Travelling Toolbox is a family business which covers practically major parts of the Greater San Diego County. This is not yet another Bang & Bologna, fled by night handyman service but they actually have electrical & general contractor licenses with decades of experience. They do everything from simple giant TV wall installation, all the way to electrical, plumbing, tiling, kitchen cabinets, bathrooms, door installations, & remodeling. They almost do everything. No job is too small or too large for them. Why Travelling Toolbox? Michael Fitzgerald has been doing what he does since his early teens working with his father. He actually studied this stuff & trained for life. He has all the proper licenses. He is a veteran who has done 2 tours of Iraq. As a solid American patriot, it is a no brainer for me to hire veterans, especially when they are experts like Michael. Let me give you 3 examples of what Michael has done for me: * Replacing & building 2 large double door kitchen cabinet solid floors. * Replacing a half vented windowed steel exterior laundry room complete door (door, frame & casing) & laundry room wall edge moldings. * Replacing a very difficult complete exterior front double door (door, frame & casing) & painting the exterior large wooden frame molding, interior casing & grouting the edge tiles. Observations As a journalist, I observe my contractors & ask questions so I learn from them. After 5 minutes of talking to Michael, I knew that he will be my lifelong handyman. After doing a few jobs for me, he has proven me correct. Michael is an honest, hardworking, expert. He is an honorable veteran & a decent guy. Ask him to do a job for you. He will tell you if he can do it or not but if he takes the contract, he will go out of his way to satisfy you. Don't even try to beat his prices because he is very reasonable. Let's say that I am an obsessive, compulsive perfectionist. I find Michael to be very detail oriented & neat. If he passed my extremely selective taste & test, then he is good enough for you. He is my handyman for life & there's your prayer. Amen!
