No hidden fees after work was complete even though they've had to do a few things beyond what was asked. In the end insurance also wanted a few changes and Rafael's team quickly responded and worked it out with insurance and with the tenant's schedule as to not disturb them too much. On another project where the roof had already been replaced by another roofer, we were experiencing problems and the other roofer denied any responsibility in the leaks. I asked Rafael to stop by just to inspect with no promise to hire. He sent me detailed report on what had gone wrong which then forced the other roofer to come back and repair at no cost. I got a few quotes and Michael was by far the clear best choice. He was the one who went above and beyond during his initial inspection, and he created thorough documentation of hail damage and even compiled a professional report proving the storm time/date/location that allowed me to easily file a claim. I figured if the quality of the work was as high as his work ethic to land the job then this was an easy choice and I wasn't wrong. In this day and age it seems honesty, strong work ethic, and great communication is a lost art in business. Michael took the time to explain the process to me clearly, educate me on the nitty gritty details when I asked, and what really stood out was him and his teams ability to work rapidly under the tight timeline I had to close on my house. The work was super high quality and flawless by the way, couldn't have made a better choice than to go with Michael and the HD roofing team.

We didn't notice any problem until after all the rain over the 4th of July when we noticed two water spots on our ceiling. We worked with Michael to do a "tune up" on our roof about 2 years ago, so I called him and he came out and inspected our roof. He provided me with two PDFs, one with photos of hail damage to our house and one containing weather details of hail impact in our area. Armed with his documentation I filed a claim with my insurance. Michael was present for the inspection by the insurance adjuster and we were approved on the spot for a new roof. I believe Michaels documentation and presence for the inspection worked in our favor, we went in with our guns loaded. Our project involved 1) exterior repair and painting 2) new roof 3) interior ceiling repair and painting. We had trim and siding that was rotted or damaged by critters, including the chimney which was the source of our leaks. Exterior repairs were made and the house painted. Then the roof was replaced. Finally the water spots were cut out of the ceiling, insulation fell through and was removed, sheetrock replaced and painted, and new insulation brought in to replace the old. The ceiling repairs were important to us because we were concerned about mold. The whole project was completed within about a month of the insurance inspection and claim approval. Michael was involved throughout the entire process. He patiently answered my questions, we made a few tweaks along the way, and he made sure work was done correctly. I couldn't be happier with the result. It was a pleasure working with him and I have great peace of mind knowing that the job was done right. I highly recommend Michael Partain and HD Roofing And Construction for residential roofing and repairs.
