Three days and many phone call attempts later, I drove to their shopfront and was told by an employee that the data wasn't recoverable and the person who worked on it wasn't available. When I tried to ask a question, he curtly responded, "Like I said, I wasn't the one who worked on it." He went on to tell me that my only option was to send it into a lab, which would be extremely expensive. After doing a little research and making a few phone calls, I decided to drive 25 miles to First in Service. The owner, Russ, was extremely honest and helpful. He even called a few minutes before closing on a Friday to say, "It's going to take a few days but it looks like your data is going to be recoverable - I wanted to let you know so you could enjoy your weekend." And just like he said, a few days later, everything was recovered at a very affordable price.
