    We love these amazing windows!

Can a restaurant feel luxurious and relaxed at the same time? At Prime 374, the answer is a resounding yes. This chic hidden gem, tucked away on a leafy, sprawling property in northern New Jersey, gives "countryside summer in Italy/France" vibes. The chef and staff go the extra mile. The cocktails were fun and we had excellent meat selections; we'd love to see a grilled vegetables offering for the warmer months. Expect a bill in the appropriately higher range -- well worth it for special occasions. We're also eager to try their new weekend brunch menu, which could be another great way to celebrate the summer and beyond.

This is definitely a diamond in the rough. A hidden gem. The inside looks greats!! Exactly how the pictures are. They have outside dinning as well. Nice wine list. Bar service was good with our cocktails. Service - staff was attentive and delivery on time. The food was amazing. The menu is extensive where you will find something if interest to you. Rack of lamb and surf n turf were great. The Lemmon chicken was delicious as well. Management took over recently, but are seasoned. We are making this one of our go too spots. Lamb chops were great. And great ambience with large windows looking at forested mountain. Definitely a A+ go-to restaurant.

We rented an Airbnb nearby and wanted a fun Sunday brunch with a beautiful view, and this restaurant absolutely delivered. We made an 11 AM reservation and were glad we arrived before the crowds started rolling in. They offered both a featured brunch menu and an extensive drink menu with lots of options for the group. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. She even took a table photo for us and later noticed us struggling to take a group picture outside after brunch -- she actually came outside to take photos for us, which was such a thoughtful touch and really went above and beyond for such a special occasion. The atmosphere was also so welcoming. The locals were incredibly kind, and one woman even bought our table a bottle of champagne after hearing we were celebrating a bride-to-be. It made the whole experience feel extra memorable. As someone with a gluten allergy, I really appreciated that they offered gluten-free options, including gluten-free toast. I had the spinach and feta omelet with home fries, and everything was delicious. My sister is a huge Eggs Benedict fan and loved their version as well. The location right on Greenwood Lake is beautiful. They have dock space for people arriving by boat, plus outdoor seating that would be amazing on a nice summer day. There are also two parking lots on either side of the restaurant, which made parking easy for us, although I could see it filling up quickly during peak summer weekends. The prices were definitely on the higher end, but honestly, for a nice restaurant directly on the lake with great service and atmosphere, it felt worth it. I'm already looking forward to coming back next time we're in the area!

That said, the vibe leans loud and a bit chaotic (mall energy is real here). The staff are clearly well trained and hustling, but they're stretched thin, so expect a few small misses in service. Nothing major, just not seamless. Overall, you're paying a premium, but the kitchen earns it. Just don't come expecting a quiet, polished dining experience.

We came here for a private birthday party and got a room in the back for just our party. Once we were sat the server took drink orders without having to wait for everyone to be there, they gave us complimentary bread as we waiting for everyone to come in and settle down. Then we got our appetizers, the shellfish tower, the meat, the shrimps, the crab cakes. Then we had salads and soups and got the lobster bisque, the Caesar salad, the wedge chopped with bacon, and all of it was so amazing, I was stuffed by this point but we were just getting started. The filet mignon was by far the best steak made there, but the Ny strip was also really good. The Mac and cheese was the best side ever, but the rice was also good and so was the asparagus. For dessert the bananas foster was the absolute best but the other desserts (chocolate lava cake and creme brulee were also amazing) All in all this was the best night with the best friends and the best food, the drinks were also always good and the servers kept them coming. It was a bit pricey but it was worth every penny.

Sure I love sushi, but if it tastes fishy, it's bad fish and growing up in Norway on boiled fish and an evil concoction called Lutefisk. I haven't been a big fan of the seafood scene here in the tri-state. This placed changed my mind. The first time here our waitress, Beth made sure we knew what was fresh and popular for the evening. Throw in the fact that the owner Ralph and his mom checked in on us that we were happy with our dinners made this a great over the top local place. Food: For appetizers I had the escargot. It was amazing. Not your standard escargot in a standard scalloped dish with a small dash of garlic and butter, but a bowl consisting of a wonderful broth of escargot, garlic, butter and accompanied with toasted baguette slices. Mains: My wife ordered the "Codfather"consisting of cod, shrimp and scallops. Let's just say I made sure to keep my arms and hands on my side of the table and not attempt to try a sample from her plate with the fear of losing a digit. I ordered the fish and chips. Hey! It's fried, can't go wrong as a non-fish eater going with this route. Nope. Beyond my expectations. My last best fish and chips was at the famous take away at the Borough Market in London. This version? Fresh Cod, well done fries, homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw, just saved me the airfare to the UK. We have all ready been back twice. It is our new fave.
