The office is well-organized, the staff is consistently friendly, and the environment is clean and welcoming. We really appreciate the separation of well and sick visit areas -- it's a thoughtful touch that gives extra peace of mind. Everyone we've encountered has been so kind to our 1.5-year-old, which helps him feel completely at ease during visits. They genuinely interact with the kids and make the experience positive from start to finish. I recently had to call on a weekend and was connected with a nurse who was incredibly helpful and thorough in answering my questions. That kind of care really stands out. We see Dr. Diane Landram, and she is absolutely wonderful. She takes the time to listen, offers helpful and up-to-date information, and never makes you feel rushed or dismissed. This is exactly what pediatric care should look like -- highly recommend!

I am absolutely appalled by the experience my husband and daughter had at this office. We will…read morenever be returning, and I strongly question how this office is being managed. My husband brought our daughter in for an appointment that was specifically scheduled for two shots. In addition, we requested that they look at stitches that had not completely dissolved. Somehow, when my husband arrived, the staff had no idea why she was there and apparently thought the appointment was only for the stitches. This was not a misunderstanding on our end -- the appointment was booked by the nurse for the purpose of getting her shots. Because everyone was apparently getting ready to leave for the day, my husband and daughter were then rushed through the appointment. The fact that the staff had apparently made a scheduling error and were now inconvenienced by their own mistake is not our problem. To make matters worse, this office has previously used a cold-pack buzzer to help distract our daughter during shots. This time, they didn't. It may seem like a small detail, but when you're dealing with a child getting shots, consistency and basic consideration matter. The worst part of the entire experience, however, was what happened afterward. My husband was sent to the manager's office, where the manager proceeded to question him about why we don't bring our daughter in more often. She actually asked, "How do you know she's growing?" Seriously? We can see her. We are her parents. It is completely inappropriate and incredibly condescending for a manager to question a parent about how they choose to parent their own child, especially when there was absolutely no justification for the attitude she took with my husband. Her demeanor was disgusting, judgmental, and completely unprofessional. She then apparently mumbled something along the lines of how it was "good" that he brought her in for her shots because "you know how people are these days." That comment was completely inappropriate and frankly left us wondering exactly what she was implying. There was absolutely no accountability for the office's scheduling error. Instead, my husband was made to feel as though he was the problem. This entire experience was disrespectful, unprofessional, judgmental, and completely unacceptable. Parents should not have to walk into a pediatric office and be made to feel scrutinized or criticized by the people who are supposed to be providing care for their child. What a disgrace. We have completely lost confidence in this office and will be taking our daughter elsewhere. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for a place where parents and children are treated with basic respect and professionalism. If I could give this office zero stars, I absolutely would.

We normally see Mrs. Thistle for well visits and Dr. Fitch for sick visits. Mrs. Thistle is very personable and makes you feel at home in the office. It's also very easy to schedule appointments with the front desk and we have always gotten in quickly for sick visits. I used the answering service on several occasions when my kids were smaller and the on-call doctor always called back right away. One thing I want to point out is that when my middle child was 3 she was coughing like crazy for about a week. We took her to a pediatric urgent care center who passed it off as a virus. We then took her to Dr. Fitch for a second opinion and she diagnosed her with pneumonia so we were able to give her proper treatment in time. We have been seeing Dr. Fitch ever since, she's just amazing and wonderful with kids as well.

My daughter hurt her wrist enough to need a splint. Her insurance unfortunately all of a sudden required a referral for an orthopedic. I called Arundel Peds to get them to fax one. They wouldn't fax a referral even though I explained to she was in no condition to be seen. The receptionist have/had no bedside manner! When we took her they insisted she get shots in both arms (including the sore arm) really??? So put my kid through more unnecessary misery instead of faxing a referral. We will be changing insurances and going elsewhere!

This is the service I received from the "office manager" of "25 years". She is the woman in the middle with her hands crossed. She refused to share her name with me so the best I could do was snap a photo of her disregarding me. This was my second time entering this facility today to take my child in for a yearly wellness check up. I was not greeted upon arrival , okay fine. I'll take that, it was later afternoon, raining -maybe they are tired.... then this office manager tossed a "chadi's questionnaire" on the counter top demanding I use my phone to fill it out, read the information to figure it out. Unfortunately my technology device was not charged at this time and I expressed that so I assumed an iPad would be handed over- she said if I couldn't get it filled out, my child wouldn't be able to be seen. This appointment has been set for months- I value my time- I felt like my time was worthless/meaningless to this facility the way she shewed me away. The doctor on duty 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment came out to let me know they have all been friends for years and the office manager has been there for 25 years, I didn't know that's was an appropriate excuse reasoning for disrespect/disregard to patients but okay, again. I'm not okay with just mediocre , don't care service. I was also told reviews don't matter; I believe in real reviews - the good and bad and this is why- this experience right here! I suggest communicating to new patients what expectations are so they can come with charged devices/technology and assumptions that are expected to be done before arriving. I am truly thankful this happened after all they let me know people are just numbers here and they don't value us as individuals. The facility it's self is out dated / dirty and the staff is not friendly at all. Needless to say there are plentiful of compassionate providers out there, next time I will read all reviews / do my homework -- verse just going to the most "popular known" doctors office.

This woman never once smiled, introduced herself, or anything like that. At 8:30, she had me fill out a form to get my daughter's prior immunization records. At 8:50, she came back for the paper. By this time, the only thing that had been done for my daughter was her weight and height. I waited until 9 and decided to leave. I just didn't feel like this was the right practice for my family. This place is slow, unfriendly, and dirty. Picture of the floor in the exam room for reference. So gross. When I left, I told one of the staff at the front desk that I wasn't happy with the experience and brought up the fact I had been waiting quite a while and how the dirty the floor was. There were only a few patients on a Sunday afternoon, and I was checked in right away by a friendly young male staff who had the normal requests for information, ID, insurance, and signatures on disclaimers too long to read. A cordial and helpful doctor's assistant took my vitals, led me to a patient room, and a PA-C came in within minutes to do an assessment.
