    Tacos at Meditation & Tacos
    Lucy M.

I came here for Meditation & Tacos. As the fantastic organizer of the ongoing event Kristina said, "First we meditate, then we eat the tacos. It's that easy!" Primary is apparently the best shared workspace ever. They grow moss on things and sell kombucha. Clean bathrooms with locker rooms, showers, and nice smelling lotion. I'd love to work here. I only know it existed because I came for the class, and they do have what appears to be a dedicated yoga studio in the space. Whatever brought you to this page, rest assured, this is a good place to be.

Came here for Yoga. The yoga studio amenities are free lockers, mats, towels, shower products, and body products. It separates the women and men showers but the lockers are in a co ed shared space. While the locker room was clean I could not find a empty locker. It seems that since this is a shared space most of the lockers are claimed by people who work in the building. The one locker I found was broken. The yoga room is small, I can't imagine more than 8 people practicing here before it gets too close for comfort. Luckily only 3 people was attending the class. The yoga room is separated from the cafe by a glass partition. Unfortunately class never happened so I can't say if the cafe sounds interrupted the yoga class. Instructor never showed up and the front desk staff had to call the direct yoga studio and have the yoga studio call the instructor to find out what happened. While that series of calls was happening 45 minutes elapsed. Really disappointed because I heard amazing things about the instructor from a fellow student. One star review is because of the broken lockers, locker availability, and missing instructor.

Pretty cool shared office space. You have a yoga studio, coed lockers with gender separated shower/bathrooms and lots of space. At the back you have individual offices to rent. As a member you can use their address as your office address (is what I read). I dropped by for a class pass yoga class and discovered this joint. It's 24/7 unlike some other shared spaces in the city. The yoga instructor, Christine, was great. It was a relaxing/meditative experience (not just the yoga class).

What am I going to do when traveling back to NYC and have no office to work from? Cue Workville and boy did they deliver. The location in mid-town is central to anywhere I need to travel to in NYC. Plenty of food options around and safety is paramount at Workville. Hand sanitizer is available throughout, counters are wiped down constantly, Workville residents respect mask-wearing in public areas. Most importantly, support is on hand at all times with Sue, Sabrina, and DJ. If you ask nice enough, they will even let you play your own personal Spotify playlist so you play DJ for your office mates. I love Workville not just for their office layout, nor the wrap-around outdoor deck from the 21st floor, or the free coffee... it's a vibe. A vibe that I need and crave when I visit NYC. As "Ahnuld" said it best, "I'll be back!"

Also, they've recently expanded to take up two floors of the 1412 Broadway building, so there's plenty of room! Oh, and one of the best amenities of all are the balconies that look over the Manhattan skyline. You can sit out there to do a bit of work, have a call, or eat lunch... what a breathtaking view! As you might guess, Workville has many of the amenities you would expect from a coworking site--from complimentary coffee and espressos to private call rooms for escaping noise during business calls. Note that I'm still trying to talk them into free bubbly and vodka after work hours... but one of these days. =) Drop by Workville if you're looking for a new office space. Sue and/or DJ are super friendly and will show you around and give you all the deets. Once you see the space and talk to members of the community, you'll be hooked!
