Disclosures first - my primary/most…read morefrequently Centurion Lounge experiences have been DEN and IAH so I cannot compare the Sapphire Lounge at LGA to the Centurion Lounge at LGA. That aside - a few highlights for parents - 1) There's a dedicated nursing room - I have been to a lot of Centurion Lounges and have never seen a dedicated nursing room - this is enormous and there should be more accomodations everywhere for parents of young children 2) There are two dedicated play rooms - one for young children and one for slightly older children - this is incredible and there's a nice welcoming space for parents to sit comfortably and supervise their children at a short distance - I have never seen a playroom at a Centurion Lounge (which may be indicative of the priorities for AmEx compared to Chase) The service was okay - there as an oddly rude interaction where a staff member firmly stated a stroller is not allowed in a certain space (but there were no signs) though they did help with moving the stroller which was appreciated. The open concept with a central bar and open food space works really well for a lounge and there is a lot of comfortable seating. The food, unlike most lounges, is actually pre-portioned. This creates a cleaner experience with getting food, though does mean you're struck with the portions they decided. I preferred this model for its cleanliness and how easy it makes it to pop in and out of getting food without having to organize into a line - but others may prefer a more traditional self serve portion style. All in all, a really fantastic Sapphire Lounge experience and I'm truly sad IAH does not have one!

This experience was definitely a luxury and premium experience compared to other lounges I have visited in the past. I found a comfortable table with chair and set my belongings down and the bar tender kindly greeted me and made a delicious espresso martini with a smile on his face as well! The bar has several drink options to choose from which are all complimentary. The food selection was pretty amazing since there was many healthy options available and there was even a QR code to order more food to your table and included a great and wide variety option. The drink section was spectacular! They had bottles and cans available including energy and electrolyte beverages. They had cold brew on tap as well and all the alternative milk options available. I will say the best part about this lounge is the spa service where I got a mini facial and the spa person was very kind and explained each step and I swear my skin had never felt cleaner! I was so happy to be going back home with glowing skin. This lounge almost makes me want to change my credit card provider for travel!

Onella was so nice, stopping by our table to make sure we were good and even offering us a specialty drink. Another shout-out to the bartender whose name I didn't get, but she was a complete sweetheart. The drinks were really good. For food, I had the French toast and the eggs Benedict. I'm usually not a fan of eggs Benedict at all, but this one was actually delicious. The plates are small but definitely enough to fill you up. I wished the pastrami sandwich was available while I was there, but it's a lunch item and I missed the timing. They also handle things quickly here. There was an issue with one of the restrooms, but they immediately put it out of service and got right to work on fixing it. Its a nice relaxing place to kill time while waiting for your flight. Overall it was once again a great experience, and I'll definitely be back.

You can debate the nuances of each-- Centurion's food is better, Capital One's is larger and has a cheese monger, Ess a Bagel, and better cocktails. But compared to the sort of lounges that don't have their own bathrooms and offer nothing more than some bananas and cereal, you really could do worse. The Sapphire lounge in LGA is larger and prettier, but they pretty much offer the same amenities. The bathrooms have been clean every time I've visited, save for one time. The menu isn't vast but there's a little buffet station with fresh fruit and hot food, as well as a made to order menu with full sized portions. Sometimes the food has been quick, and other times it has taken a while, so you really should give yourself some buffer time if you're trying to get something from the made to order menu. The food is fine. I've visited enough times to say that the folks who work here have been so warm and nice each time, checking in and asking guests how they're doing. Garbage is cleaned up immediately, so it's a pretty well oiled machine in there. You can bring up to 2 guests and any additional guests cost just $27 more, which I'd say it's worth it, particularly if you have a long layover and will have a couple of drinks.

The one thing I really liked was their tomato based vegetable soup. There's also small bar and only 1 person working so there's always a lot of people waiting around that area. However, I did not find it comfortable as it was very crowded but perhaps it's better at other times of the day

Nothing fancy, but basic lounge that allows you to hang out and relax until your flight is ready to board. They had some food and drink options, and since it was the morning time, they mostly had breakfast type food. I was surprised to see some cup noodles there. I somehow enjoy having a cup noodle at an airport lounge. They had typical drink offerings like coffee, soda, juice, etc. Again, nothing fancy but basic items that I expected to see at an airport lounge. They did have some hot and cold food though, such as turkey bacon, eggs, crudité, yogurt, etc. I thought they had a nice option of different type of food. Something for everyone. Entry is either with a priority boarding pass or a flat fee of $55. JFK services always seem to be a little tatty, even in the new terminals. This lounge is nicer than the rest of the terminal but feels a little stripped down, with a few stray napkins on the floor etc Service was also somewhat brusque and unfriendly. Smiles are free. It's odd for a lounge not have a restroom inside the lounge. Food was excellent. Both cold and hot items were uniformly well prepared and tasty. Food is unlimited so go here instead of overpriced food options in the main terminal if waiting in JFK during a mealtime.

As soon as I sat down at a table staff came over and asked if I'd like any drinks to start. When I mentioned cucumber seltzer they brought it out with a glass of ice right away. Their venison burger was tasty and filling with fresh tomato, lettuce, cheese, pickles and a brioche bun. The fries that came with it were the chunky kind and more wedge-like, not very crispy, though I was hungry and polished off about half of them with ketchup. Duck tostada was a nice (several) bite(s), a little muddled in flavor though ingredients were fresh and I enjoyed the crispy tortilla crunch. Of course I had to get a dark chocolate pistachio cookie to go too! To correct some misinformation from recent reviews want to mention that this lounge has limited hours for Priority Pass from 5:00am-13:30pm, however full hours are until 23:30pm for balance travelers. Most of my stops here are usually in the afternoon/early evening on weekdays, I haven't seen it very packed, with exception of maybe once or twice. Also haven't tried their breakfast menu so can't comment on that. Will say that after coming here a few years starting to notice some wear on the furniture, perhaps some could use a bit of re-upholstery.
