I came to Primark to shop, not to train for survival in the Sahara Desert. The second I walked through the doors, I was hit with a wall of heat so intense I genuinely thought I might suffer a heat stroke. By the time I made it through one section of the store, I was sweating like I had just run a marathon in July. Forget trying on clothes--I was trying to stay conscious. The employees looked just as miserable. The poor guy at the register looked ready to faint barely 20 minutes into his shift. I honestly felt bad for him. To make matters worse, even the manager mentioned how unbearable the heat was and practically begged me to tell someone because the staff is suffering. I don't know if the air conditioning was broken or if there simply isn't any, but something needs to be done. Customers shouldn't need electrolyte drinks and a cooling vest just to browse for socks. Great prices, but the temperature inside felt like Primark: The Oven Edition. Please turn the AC on before someone melts into the floor. read more

It's my favorite "go to " store for All Disney clothing and they have a wide selection of Disney products for adults and children I'm a huge fan of Disney . it's just awesome from a store that is based in the UK and to now have them here in the US is wonderful. Very affordable prices staff is great and friendly well stocked store sells everything from home products to clothing and shoes just a great place I'm very happy shopping here with more locations growing. Love this retail brand, and anytime I'm in SI, I make a trip here. (Unfortunately for Hubs, it's never a "quick trip into the store", haha.) They have stuff for home, body, and fashion that rotate, you never know what you're gonna find. This particular location was well-lit, organized, and well stocked. If you're waiting for someone that's shopping, there are seats way back by the girls shoes (look for the wall painted "Customer Service" ^_^ ). On this trip, I found some $7 rose gold glitter sneakers for my littlest one(her feet grow like weeds, so it's a short term fashion investment), a $3 water bottle for Bubba (he keeps losing them, so cheap replacement), and some $4-6 bras for me (surprisingly good quality and they're so comfortable! ). Hubs found a steal of a jacket, slim fit, for a little over $50, plus some ties. I wish they would open a location in Queens or LI, I would live there! read more

I love Primark and I was so excited when the store made its debut in the US. I remember filling my cart to the brim when I was overseas and being shocked at how affordable the prices were. This location is huge and its stock with amazing goodies. You can get flip flops for .75 cents to $2 regular price. My mom bought two pairs of flip flops for $1. The place is an absolute must if you are shopping on a budget. I usually come here for basic items like t-shirts, socks, and a few random items. They also sell home decor items like blankets, pillows, and candles. I scored small jars of candles for .90 cents and 7 pairs of socks for $3.50. I haven't tried any of their beauty items but, they do look like a good deal. I would recommend if you see something to get it because it might not be there when you go back! read more

Found out about this store from a coworker and was instantly interested in visiting their location. This specific location was much closer to my house in NJ rather than the one in Freehold. At first location looks close but the plaza is currently undergoing some renovations so you have to go all the way around to find the parking/entrance. From the outside the store looks a bit small but once you go inside it is a completely different story. It reminded me of an H&M, Old Navy type of location. A lot of clothing - woman/men/children/home/suitcases/shoes. etc.etc. You can definitely end up losing your way and being here for a few hours - it took me two to finally exit. Prices are really good, especially for sweaters and items on sale. The two downfalls for me were that even though they provide huge carts to fill up they only allow 6 items at a time in the fitting room so you have to continuously go back and forth to get more. Something that can get a bit tricky if the employees are busy and there is no way to track which cart is yours. Also the sizes run a bit small. I've never seen a store stock and unstock things in a matter of 2 days the way this store has. Don't get me wrong I know cute things sell out but how is it that it's only organized for a single day and the next time you come- even when it's only been 2 days- they have NO sizes that are bigger than 10??? It's so disappointing and I know this is a corporation but all of the sudden i'm seeing 2 managers, only 2 people on cash registers, and Hangers with sizes that do not match the item at all. Stores- especially ones that have 2 MANAGERS- should not fall apart like this in a matter of barely 48 hours. -I do have to say though they have some really cute stuff. I haven't worn my new pants yet, so I'm not sure if I'll be butt naked by lunch time, but I like the idea of the place. Also, the mens section doesn't pale in comparison to the women's section and that's amazing. When you go to H&M or Forever 21, the women's section is the size of a small country, whereas the mens section is the size of a rose petal. The prices are super low and they have things for people who dress to impress and people who don't. You've got work out gear as well and shoes and socks and blah blah blah just go. There were plenty of employees making sure the sales floor is kept tidy. The fitting rooms were very clean. The sales attendants in the fitting room however, were the rudest people I encountered. So glad to see a PRIMARK a little closer to home. My first time to a PRIMARK was back in 2013 when was on vacation in Scotland. My friends that have been to Europe and know about this store also rave about it as well. I've been to the location in New Jersey and thought it would be nice to check the one in Staten Island. With a very similar set up to the Freehold location, the PRIMARK is attached to the Staten Island mall. It's a decent size but not as big as the one I've been to in Edinburgh. Parts of the mall are currently under construction, so we had to enter the store by cutting through Sears into the mall. The store is very similar in size to the Freehold location with the same type of store. PRIMARK reminds me of a forever21 that has cheaper prices. Of course like any store there can be hits or misses. There is more than just clothes. You can also grab makeup, beauty, travel goods and home accessories for a fraction of the price. My friend raves about their nose pore strips. The quality of the clothes are very good too. Lots of cute fashion to get bang for your buck. read more

This is my absolute favorite store in the Staten Island mall! Not only are the styles super cute but they are so affordable. This is also a one stop store; you can find things from clothing, to shoes , to home goods, accessories , makeup and more. The store is huge and you can easily wind up spending 3 hours in it. There are many employees on the floor who are always willing to help. There is one downfall that I have however and that's how to read the sizing on the tags / hangers. On the tags it shows US, UK , EURO so it can get tricky to read. Also I feel that all of the clothing items fit differently to me so I would recommend trying it on! I love this store! This store is huge!!! My first time going and I scored a cute black and white polka dot top and a cute handbag for mad cheap. The prices are ridiculously low, it's really well organized and the selection of clothing of fashionable trendy clothing is pretty decent. A few caveats: you need to wear comfy shoes to walk around because you will be doing a few laps around the store. BTW, the sizes listed on the hangers rarely match the actual size on the clothing labels so you have to be careful when picking sizes. I love Primark. Not enough words in the English dictionary to describe my love for the place. And the one in Staten island is truly amazing. I live all way in the city so it's a day trip for me to take the ferry, train and bus to Staten island to get there but it's always worth the trip. I make it my mission to go early in the week during the morning or early afternoon because that's the best time to shop. The kids are in school, most people are at work and the fitting room lines are non existent. There are a variety of sizes ALWAYS available and so many different styles that's incrediblely affordable. I went to London this year for a trip and Primark was the biggest shopping excursion for nearly all the locals and I got my best fashion finds from the store for great prices. The prices aren't the only upside, the quality is amazing as well. On my last trip, I purchased a full length winter jacket with a fur trim for only $46. An amazing deal, seeing that I spend nearly double that at Uniqlo. I will definitely be back. read more

Really cheap clothes, but cheap in every way. The clothes aren't expire at all, but they're basically throw always after a few washes. Similar to Forever 21, in regards to price, but the offers are much more abundant. Clothes, shoes, and what I call, chachkies, etc. it's sometimes an experience just to come here and look around. After years of watching Primark hauls from British YouTubers I was excited to finally have one within driving distance! The store was large, organized and had a great selection of on-trend clothing and housewares. I wanted everything and had to restrain myself no matter how cheaply priced everything was. I preferred their clothing selection to that of a Target. Even though this store is in driving distance it wasn't close to me especially with NY traffic. It took me about 1.5 hours to get home and then I noticed that some of my purchases were not in the shopping bag. I was saddened but since the prices of the items were dirt cheap I was going to chalk it up as a loss because no way was I going to drive back another 1.5 hours to the store. I decided to call them up to inquire if I could get a refund. They told me no because it would need to be done in person. However they did have the items set aside by the register and acknowledged that they were left. They took my name and number and said the head manager would call me back on Monday. I really wasn't expecting a call but on Monday morning the manager called and said she would have the items shipped to me. A day later I just received the items! 5 Stars for customer service!! Now if they could only open one up 5 minutes from my house I would be there every weekend lol. read more

If you watch enough YouTube videos, you probably heard of this store before. You also probably wished there was one near you so you can shop and hoard unnecessary items to add to your closet LOL! This store is basically your F21, but is a British brand company that has finally made its way over here to New York. If I am correct this is the first store in NY, and at a great travel distance for me. IMO, cheaper than F21 and because of the price their quality can range from poor to good. Not great, but at the end of the day, you pay for what you get. I was surprisingly shocked at how large the store is. If you're like me and is afraid of huge stores, it was quite overwhelming. However, since it's a fairly new store and has been opened for a short few months, the store was very organized and neat! HUGE PLUS FOR THAT! Everything you are looking for is neat and in different sections, so you don't have to be all confused looking for what you want. There's men, women, kids, and babies clothing and accessories. Huge variety to choose from. Sadly, a lot of things that did caught my attention didn't have my size (I am a petite gal), but my friends and boyfriend did find some amazing steals. PLUS, their staffs were very friendly the day I went. Great assistance when I needed help with something. Don't come in hoping for amazing quality. I understand that it may only be the second day of opening since covid-19 has become an issue; and the store has made many changes to accommodate shoppers in a pretty efficient way. That being said after waiting outside almost an hour, with 2 staff members "monitoring " the entrance, and allowing 10 people in at a time, they failed to stop at least a dozen people from cutting the line. As we were all getting agitated nobody said anything to the obnoxious people whom decided to invite their entire entourage to their "six fee of space". The security guard nor the employees seemed to care. Ok so then I finally get in and found numerous people NOT WEARING MASKS!!! I spoke with a few people and asked them to put them on as they were shopping in my vicinity but the employees said absolutely nothing to anyone, including a group of 5 people occupying a single person "social distance" space passing a manager and then getting to the cashier. Nobody said anything. I will not shop in store at all any for a long time since not only does management not care; but the shoppers as well. read more
