HIRE SOMEONE ELSE! This might be the worst experience I've ever had with a company start to finish…read moreand top to bottom. We hired Robertson to replace 2 skimmers. In hindsight they didn't know what they were doing and/or their process to replace skimmers had little to no chance working. Within a week of finishing, they admitted their "master masons" failed to grout one of the skimmer throats. Their patches didn't work. When I kept complaining, they blamed cracks in the pool and said they were no longer taking responsibility for our water loss. I paid a 3rd party to dive the pool and they found leaks around the skimmer within 15 minutes (they found no other significant leaks along cracks, etc.). Then Robertson blamed it on lack of mastic and ground movement; however, their crew at the very beginning told me mastic wasn't urgent. They also told me the skimmers would be tight to the pool and independent of newly poured patios surrounding. They were not. I tried to email the owner with zero response. I was told that Dave Campbell the GM would call me. It took weeks (and me reaching back out) to connect and ultimately he told me I was "lucky to have important friends"; that he normally wouldn't be talking to me. He bragged about their company rankings and insulted other pool companies. When I vented over the phone, he said "he was bouncing a ball off the wall just waiting for me to finish." I've not interacted with a service company that was this arrogant and disrespectful. Frankly, it was shocking. After all their mistakes, we didn't receive a penny back and I ultimately chose to walk away and not waste any more time/sanity. 8 months later we're having to replace their skimmers and seeing they didn't even rebar the skimmers to the pool wall (again, they don't know what they are doing and/or their process is not right). I can't remember a bigger waste of money between overpaying Robertson (vs other bids), excessive water bills, and now having to completely redo their work! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

Great weekly service team. We have used them for years and our pool has always been sparkling blue!read more

Fair pricing and good techs who know what they're doing. My wife and I moved from Lantana to…read moreCorinth, and we had a pool service in Lantana, but while the house was on the market, another "new guy" (the old service went through probably 5 pool cleaning techs in the 18 months I lived here with my wife) didn't tighten the pool filter basket access and the pool lost prime for the entire weekend we moved. We were so grateful that the pump motor didn't burn out! My wife went by our former residence the following Monday and found the pool out of prime. I headed over and found the pool filter basket lid installed backward/upside down with "FRONT" facing the wrong way, and therefore it could not be tightened. I fixed the issue and got the pump back to prime and immediately called around, while my wife let the owner of the other company know about "yet another" of his employees' goofs. Pretty Pools had the most reasonable fees and have done an infinitely better job than the last company. We had zero issues with Pretty Pools maintaining our pool and the house just sold and the buyers have been referred them as well. Pretty Pools also does the chemicals service at our new place and I'm as pleased as can be. They also sent a tech (for a fee) to evaluate our pool heater. The information I received was invaluable and we will be using them to replace the heater. There are other companies in the area that also do great work, but charge quite a lot more and I'm not entirely sure they're worth it. Pretty Pools does a great job, communicates well and always returns calls/emails.

Don't be fooled by the advertising with open clear communication. Communication poor at best…read more Quality of pool and other accessory items fair at best. There was a delay starting project due to poor communication in starting the project. Robertsons will blame waiting on licenses inspections but this has nothing to do with initiating the project from the get go. We waited for 6 months before project started. When they did come it was often after hours so i suspect they subcontracted work to a group of individuals or organization who was at another job in the morning. Hence the poor quality. These workers did not cover the extended patio once they removed the tiles on roof and after unanticipated rain storm led to roof and wall damage. There were broken travertine tiles that they would cover using some agent which was not noticeable right away but after several months these areas reveal themselves. I would stay away from this overpriced company as there are other companies in the DFW area, I'm sure, that are much better with this process even if a bit more expensive... the increase expense will be worth staying away from Robertsons A side note - they were supposed to reconfigure our sprinkler system given new pool etc... We just spent another $2000.00 bc of Robertsons subcontracting blunder to reconfigure our sprinklers the correct way. Not to mention the notion we wasted money on desert plants around pool that died within weeks due to the poor planning of the irrigation system to these plants. This company may have started off as a decent company when it was smaller but with time it seems... just like everything else... the quality has dropped precipitously as the company grows.

Robertson replastered our pool a year ago, and the overall job management and communications were…read moreunprofessional and inconsistent. Items enumerated in the work order were ignored, and we were treated with condescension and a patronizing attitude on several occasions. The final result: a white plaster pool that started degrading within months after the resurfacing. We reached out several times to report this, and were told the discolorations were the result of improper chemical balance in the pool, so it was our fault. But after the replastering our pool was serviced weekly, including brushing and maintaining proper chemistry. We've had three other plastering companies come to inspect and assess the issue. All independently confirmed the plastering job was done improperly and needed to be redone. We recorded underwater video that clearly shows the defects and sent it to the company, requesting the owner come and confirm that this was what he expected a newly refinished Robertson Pool to look like. No response from the company. No response from the owner. $25K spent, and the pool looks much worse than before the replastering. Unfortunately we picked the wrong vendor.
