I've done cryotherapy at a few place, but none as been as accommodating as Primal Ice. Neal and Tracy are the best! Great place and amazing staff. Couldn't ask for a better place for cryo. read more

I purchased a 20 package Cryotherapy session at the 840 Willow St location and only used it a handful of times. I received an email announcing the following: "Your packages will continue to be available (at Crossfit Xtreme Athletics) to you and you will also have access to world class coaches and athletes to help beyond what we were able to do with you before." However, when I called in to Crossfit Xtreme Athletics, they could not find any record of my package and would not honor the reciprocal arrangement promised. Very disappointed I wasted hundreds of dollars and definitely won't be recommending their services to anyone given their lack of customer service. Hope this didn't happen to any of the older, original members. read more

The pest post workout. Helps my muscle recover after a hard workout. I also do Cry to help with sleep aid, I always sleep better after a Cryo session. Prices are good and the staff and owner go out of their way to make the experience great. If you haven't tried it, get in there! read more

I'm going back today. I joined right after my first session. I couldn't believe I made it through the full 3 mins. The owner Ryan, ( my son's name so I remember) was very kind and knowledgeable. I teach Hot Pilates classes and they make me feel great, however I have lingering injuries due to age and overtraining over my life. I went in with extreme shoulder pain, and I was feeling tired.. I emerged and within about an hour I noticed my shoulder pain went from a 10 to a 3. My energy was through the roof. To the point that my last 4 training clients of the day thought I had enjoyed too much coffee ( i hadn't) But, oddest thing of all, I slept like a rock. It's a trip. I mean, it's cold, it's kind of rough.. but totally worth it. I am looking forward to 3 pm today when I get to do it again. I love this place. read more

This place is amazing. Tracy the owner was very nice and made my first visit very welcoming and easy. She was very nice to inform me of specials they have for the month to save even more money on future sessions. Great place to for cryotheraphy. read more

I have been coming here since they opened last summer, just now getting a chance to rate them though. Cryotherapy is pretty amazing for anyone who exercises a lot and gets everyday aches and pains, which I do (martial arts, lifting, gymnastics, etc.) This will make you feel a whole lot better and speed up recovery. The owners, Lindsey and Ryan are great people and are always there to greet you with a smile, Heather is really nice too. They just got this new machine the other day for after your cryo session, I think it's a vibration plate fitness machine? Anyway it's very cool, burned 400 cals on it in like 7 minutes; which coupled with the 500+ cals I burned doing cryotherapy in 3 minutes = appr 1000 cals!! Insane. Can't wait for my next session. read more

What a fun experience. The team was great and they even let my kids hang out while I was getting my freeze on.

This is by far one of the best ran businesses I've ever been into. They are personable professional clean and they understand their business to a T. I will always support this company no matter what or where they go I recommend everybody get some cryotherapy in their lives read more

I absolutely love this place. Been coming for months now and it's definitely money well spent. Since i started coming a couple times a week, it has completely gone rid of my lower back pain. Not just that but i feel super energized for the rest of the day. Also, the staff here is so helpful and accommodating. Would definitely give them a try, you won't regret it :)! read more

I recently had a flare-up of hip bursitis from over doing it at my cardio class. A cortisone injection didn't work, and I was sick of sitting on the couch with an icepack. After only three session at Primal Ice (progressively colder - brrrrr!), my pain was gone. Thankfully. I'm able to return to my killer cardio workout by following it with a quick cryrotherapy session. Thanks, Primal Ice!! read more

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, very nice facilities, and one of the best investments I have made in my health and fitness. Helps me recover from tough workouts, and my joints feel so much better. Definitely worth a try! read more

This is amazing technology and such a great group of folks running Glace! Ive been about a dozen times and I would go more but I moved up to WA. I stop in when Im in town and try to get 3x in a row to re-stimulate my body. Great for flushing toxins and muscle soreness, improving muscle tone and Ive heard...fat burn!! My only wish is that Glace cryo would open a space in the University village or around there in Seattle!! I love coming into town and heading over to Glace. Hope to see you all soon! read more

Had my 1st experience today & it was a positive one. I was introduced to the concept of Cryotherapy about a year ago. After doing a lot of research I came to the conclusion that I needed to try for myself. I have been putting my body through a lot of stress with my daily workouts over the past 6 months. I was started to feel aching throughout certain muscles of my body. I figured this was the perfect opportunity to experience the hype. The facility was clean, the service was great, overall I thought it was a very well organized facility. The Cryotherapy session cold! No way to sugarcoat that experience, when you're inside for the 1st time it is cold! But it's totally manageable & in the end you feel great. I highly recommend it to anyone who does high intense workouts. Or if you're dealing with an injury, I also hear it's great for healing. read more

Went in with tons of anxiety since I hate cold weather, ice baths, Lake Tahoe, snow, etc. Did the 3 minutes no problem and felt amazing after and for the rest of the day! Can't wait to do it again. read more

Primal Ice is very clean and hygenic! The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable of their services/products!

This place is cool, no pun intended. I love the staff here, very friendly and down to earth. The few clients I have met while being in there all seem to have such great things to say about this place. Since I bought my package I have sent over several ppl I either work with or workout with and most of them have ended up buying packages too. If you're sore from the gym or run down after a long day it gives you that extra pep in your step. I rest better at night as well. I would recommend this place to any health enthusiast or people who are just looking for an overall sense of well being read more

At first I thought cryotherapy was scary. Tried it, loved it. Feel revitalized. Will do it again.

This place is really good. The cryotherapy is really amazing in terms of body recovery and healing. The owners are really nice and welcoming Little background on myself, I'm in my forties, work on a desk 6-8+ hours a day, weekend athlete doing capoeira, bodyweight exercises and basketball. It takes a toll on the body, with muscle aches and overuse. I do see a sports chiropractor and once a awhile get a massage. Sessions are three minutes, but it's all you need. I use level 2 for my sessions and I think it's good enough for me. I don't go regularly, only when my body screams for it. Usually its when I get really sore and tweak some joint(s). After a session, my body feels great, the soreness and/or joint pain really diminishes I do recommend this people, especially those who are very active like me. read more

Primal Ice is premier cryotherapy place in the San Jose Area! My experience was 5 stars because of not only the treatment but customer service. I was well informed on the treatment, treated very well, and most importantly the treatment works. I play college football and it helps me recover for the next day of practice and lifts read more

Just love this place! the equipment they have -is the best on market, friendly, knowledgeable staff, Lindsy (the owner) is very nice, can answer ALL your questions. The cryotherapy is my favorite, helps a lot with pain; PBM is just amazing, very good results! read more

I saw a Groupon for Primal Ice and thought, "What the heck, I'll give it a try." And so glad I did. I was somewhat skeptical that 3 minutes of cryotherapy could make that much of a difference, but it's amazing. Ryan explained everything and customized the experience so the apprehension had disappeared by the time I stepped into the canister. I can't wait to go back! read more

This was our first time and the facility was well put together and appeared professional. The staff was amazingly easy to work with as she put our minds at ease every step of the way. All-in-all I could not have asked for a better first time. read more

I feel totally invigorated after a session at Primal Ice! Looking forward to returning. The staff are very pleasant and helpful.

I was surprised how effective even one session can be. It's definitely scary when you consider how cold you get but the reality of it is that it's still only three minutes long. My body's response post session went from energy high for about two hours then to a nice drowsy state and great sleep afterwards. Plan to do the monthly special next to maximize my opportunities to keep my body in a good working state. Customer service was a nice plus too as every step was clearly laid out and it was a great session from start to finish! Well done Glace! read more

I'm a big fan. I'm a middle aged (ok, maybe the upper end of middle aged) endurance runner. Cryotherapy very much helps my recovery from big weeks of running and racing. The team at Glace are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating and I always look forward to my visits. read more

What a great experience! I overworked my poor muscles at Orangetheory and was in dire need of some kind of relief. I came across Glace Cryotherapy. Boy, what a lucky day! Lindsey greeted me with a smile, and was just super helpful, knowledgeable, and an overall joy. The cold was actually invigorating and I left Glace feeling like a whole new woman. Can't wait to go back! read more

Great experience and the a very warm and friendly atmosphere!! Cryotherapy is the BEST!

Cryo and PBM have really helped my with my migraines. I really appreciate the fun staff that know how to make me feel better.

A new San Jose business. I had back Fusion surgery six weeks ago. I started treatment three weeks after surgery. With fusion surgery you can not take any anti inflammation medicine. I have had 9 secessions now. The swelling has been dramatically reduced. After each session I feel better. I was not sure if this would help but Lindsay was very helpful. After five sessions I was hooked. It was worth every penny. I will continue to go when my physical therapy starts. Excellent Willow Glen location. Clean comfortable environment. Just based on the staff I would give it six stars if I could. Also a Caramel location if your down that way. read more

I am trying to write a review without it being 20 pages long. But it's hard to condense all the information I want to give as far as my feedback regarding Glace Cryotherapy but I will try. I hurt my back in June and the pain was incredible. I was on four different pain meds and nothing seemed to work. When I called my doctors they told me to put on ice pack and that seemed to help a little bit but the pain was still there. Then I called Lindsay and she was so helpful and very patient and kind. I was very nervous to try something new because nothing seem to be working. Lindsay was patient with me and we took it slow. I immediately started to feel better and I COULD SLEEP because the pain was lessoning! I am so glad I found this place. After the first month I was able to go off of my pain meds. I had bulging disc and a torn disc and cryotherapy helped me heal the inflammation and helped my body heal. I can't thank these guys enough. They are friendly and very helpful and patient and have wonderful clients too. If you are in pain from an injury I highly suggest you try this place. read more

at -200deg F your body feels jittery, shaky and pricked by pins and needles for 3 mins. at the end you get goose bumps and a tingling sensation which lasts for a while (about 20mins). overall a good pain management option and a great post workout recovery routine for those who work out regularly. keeps the back aches, shoulder aches and neck strains at check. well worth it. great pain management. read more

I went to Glacé in San Jose/Willow Glen to give cryotherapy a try (after I had surgery for a torn Achilles), and may I say that the staff is very knowledgeable. They walked me through the entire process and made me feel very comfortable. Highly recommended!! read more

Can't believe I haven't done this before now!!! I have been enjoying the benefits of cryotherapy for over a year, and I don't know how I lived without it!!!!!! I have arthritis, back and knee pain that disappear when I get a treatment. I also lose weight when I go regularly. Lindsay and Ryan make you feel like family with smiles and TLC.
