First part: I called Primal Ice to ask about how it works and the lady whom answered was super helpful explained to me I had to fill out a consent form online & basically after I could just walk in. Super easy website easy to use & the following day Friday evening we walked In and they took care of us. Second part: Once you enter the room they explain to you what to wear & show you where the socks & especial shoes are as well as the ropes you will be wearing. We undressed then put the ropes on socks with shoes then we opened the door to let them know we were ready for the therapy. She explained to us the process once we were inside the chamber & she informed us the benefits as well asked us questions if we had any areas of focused (aces or pain). The treatment only lasted for myself 2 minutes because my lower body couldn't handle anymore time but I'm determined next time to push through for another minute. Overall experience I will definitely recommend Primal Ice & I will definitely will be a returning customer.

    Where the cyrotherapy is done!

I first heard about cyrotherapy from a coworker and my initial response was "oh it deals with the cold, pass". I always thought I could tolerate the cold, but I don't like to be in the cold If I had the choice to. It wasn't until last week where I saw a LivingSocial/Groupon for a whole body cyrotherapy session at Primal Ice and gave it some more thought. And so I did a lot of research. The more I read about it, the more I got curious and skeptical and then thought YOLO, I'm gonna buy the coupon and try it for myself! The coupon came out to be less than 30 bucks a session. I think that's pretty reasonable for your first time. Normally they go for double that price. There's not that many cyrotherapy places in my area so it's quite a drive for me to go to one. Primal Ice is in Willow Glen and their other location is in Campbell. It's in the same plaza as Cider Junction and right next to Cafe Gourmet. There's plenty of parking but can be packed during busy hours and spaces are really compact. They opened at 10am and I did a walk in around that time yesterday. I was greeted by a friendly lady at front. I didn't get her name but she was very nice, helpful and made my first experience really comfortable. To speed up the check in process, you should sign the waiver online beforehand, which I did and my whole check in process was smooth and fast. After that's done, she took me to a dressing room and provided me gloves, socks, slippers, and a robe. All clothes are off except your underwear and bra (optional for ladies). Then it's off to the chamber you go! During the 3 mins in that chamber, it was cold, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It's comparable to walking in cold snowy weather in the East Coast or Tahoe. Anyways, how I felt after? First off, I didn't go in with any pains or aches, I only had major leg soreness. And it did relieve some soreness after, but did not get rid of it completely; it's not suppose. The purpose of cyrotherapy is to relieve some pain/soreness/inflammation. So I guess it did that part. It's also suppose to get you awake, alive, boost your mood and give you energy. It did get me really awake and aware and my mood was a little boosted. Energy? I'm not sure since I did boring errands after. I wished I worked out right after the cyrotherapy session to fully take advantage of the experience. I went to the gym 4 hours later and by then I was yawning and wasn't as awake as the first hour or two after the session. I think it would've been a good preworkout replacement if I had went to the gym right after. Oh well, next time! A whole body cyrotherapy session also helps to increase metabolism and burn calories. Studies haven't really been proven that it does, but some people do lose weight after a session. I did lose almost 2 lbs the day after, but granted I didn't eat for most of the day and worked out for 2 hours. So take that with a grain of salt. Everyone's bodies works differently so what works for me may not work for everyone. Overall, I had a great first experience! I am no longer curious and skeptical. I would definitely go back but it would be more worth it if I had more pain or soreness to relieve. Other than that, it would be expensive to continue going every week. FYI, they have Happy Hour every Friday from 3-6PM. One whole body cyrotherapy session is $25!

I came in for a second visit and tried the level 2 cryo. The temp is approx -275F if I'm not mistaken. From my understanding it's minus 30 degrees Celsius as compared to level 1. I love it. I have so much energy and my body feels great. I'm sure it's helping the inflammation in my knees and joints. I may have to try level 3 next time!

Glacé is my number one go-to location. Not only are the staff and owners super friendly, knowledgeable and professional, but the facilities are always well-stocked and very clean. I'm a sports chiropractor, and not only do I personally visit once a week, I refer many of my patients here for recovery.

So Cryotherapy completely redefined the term "chilling out" for me!!! It is a three-minute treatment standing in a deep freeze chamber while temps plummet as low as -256 degrees Fahrenheit. I torched up to 800 calories in a 3 minute session and it completely rev'd up my metabolism, it released all my endorphins and gave me so much energy, soothed all my sore muscles post work out, has been improving my sleep patterns, calmed major body inflammation I have been having due to food allergies, it has reduced about 75% of my cellulite, and even reversed some signs of aging. I have gone a total of 5 times and I started noticing a huge difference immediately but mostly after 3 sessions. The theory: The frigid cloud of nitrogen in the chamber tricks your body into thinking it's in danger, forcing it into preservation mode. The brain signals to the rest of the body to rush blood to your core for protection, increasing body heat (and your metabolism). After it's over, the enriched blood rushes back out and through your body, boosting immunity, cell renewal, and natural pain relievers. It's really good! Not going to lie, it is cold but it's only 3 minutes so it's definitely tolerable.

Today I wanted to try cryotherapy for my lower back pain, I aggravated it on Saturday evening training at the gym. I was unable to walk or carry anything Saturday night or all day Sunday. I have been here once before but i had nothing going on with my body at that time. This time however, I was looking for low back pain relief and to reduce the inflammation in the area. I work as a massage therapist and I need to be healthy and pain-free, as I work on many athletes. About 1 hour after my treatment, I could still feel a cold sensation in my lumbar region. I even tested my low back out by carrying my gym bag up a flight of stairs; no pain! Don't get me wrong my low back still hurts but its much better than it was. I will be going back tomorrow in hopes that 2 back-to-back treatments will help even more. You're only in the chamber for about 3 minutes but during that time, the chamber hits minus 260 degrees, this is level 2, I believe! While you are in there, you got to keep moving as your skin temperature reaches 30 degrees. But if you were to ice only, your skin temperature reaches only 40 degrees! That 10 degrees difference is where all the magic happens according to Ryan (co-owner). Great stuff!

So, let's start with Lindsey and the ladies - they are all so welcoming and helpful with getting started! I wanted to rehab my knee a few days before an important grappling tournament and I heard great things about Cryotherapy. This was the first place I tried and since then, I've tried one other spot and can easily say Primal Ice is my favorite! The location is central, the staff is great and the chamber is fantastic (seems colder than the other location, in a better way). Thanks to Primal Ice, I was able to compete and win first place in my division!

Looking for a modern, professional facility that offers cryotherapy? This is the place. Ryan was super awesome when I booked my appointment. Not only was he accommodating to my schedule but he was also very helpful with the questions that I had. When I got there I was greeted by Lindsay who guided me back to the where the cryochamber was. The chamber was super clean and easy to step into. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to help with your recovery. Thanks guys for the experience. I definitely will be back!

Brrr...it's cold in here! Heather is freezing me! :)

I have been trying to reach them for an appointment, but no avail. Is the business still open?

I believe they are closed for business permanently. I did not visit their location, but like you I did try calling them and got a bunch of weird answering messages. I am looking elsewhere for services.

First-time cryotherapy + glutathione shot experience and I'm impressed…read more I came across a promotion and decided to finally try Restore Hyper Wellness Los Gatos, and overall it was a great first experience. I paid $65 for cryotherapy + a glutathione shot, which felt like a really good deal. When I arrived, it was a little packed, with a lot of people coming in for IV therapy, so there was a short wait--but once things got moving, everything went smoothly. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and they checked in with me throughout the visit. This was my first time ever doing cryotherapy, and they did a great job walking me through everything step by step. Before going in, they went over a safety checklist, reminded me to remove anything metal, and recommended taking slow, controlled breaths once inside, which really helped. They also provide a private changing room to get ready for cryo, which made the experience much more comfortable--especially as a first-timer. The cryotherapy itself was definitely intense--way colder than anything I've experienced before. They prep you really well with gloves, socks, a mask, a beanie, and a wraparound towel. You also get to choose your music, which was such a nice touch. They mentioned some people dance or stomp around during their session. I was a little claustrophobic at first, but I adjusted quickly and handled it just fine. They even asked me how it felt after the cryo, which I appreciated. I also learned that cryotherapy can help burn calories, which was an interesting bonus I didn't realize going in. After cryo, I received my glutathione shot, and the nurse who administered it was very kind and knowledgeable. She explained the benefits clearly, including how it can help with energy, brain fog, and overall wellness, and the shot itself went smoothly. They also gave me a tour of the facility, which I really appreciated. In addition to cryotherapy and IV therapy, they offer red light therapy, infrared sauna, Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, and even facials. The space was clean, modern, and well organized. Since this was my first visit and I was medically cleared, they let me know I'm cleared for up to a year to come back for shots or other services without needing to redo the medical clearance, which makes future visits super easy. They also told me I can call or text if I want to book again. They explained their membership options, but there was no pressure at all--very much a "totally optional" type of conversation, which I really respected. Overall, great service, knowledgeable and attentive staff, and a smooth experience after a short wait. I'd definitely consider coming back, especially with the variety of wellness services they offer.

Walked up to the front door, which was locked, then the owner and the coworker approached me. I was seated politely, was asked to fill out some paperwork about my skin regimen. Dawn greeted me and said she would have Jessica take over as she was free at the moment. I was walked to the back after discussing my current concerns about my skin. Jessica then proceeded to explain what the process would entail. From what I took from it, it would consist of x2 facial washes to help take off any debri or makeup helping to form a canvas for the skincare which was about to proceed. She then showed me a table within a dim room, with some wonderful relaxing music in the background, and asked me to dress down from the top so she could work the products to my neck, chest, and shoulder area. After the cleanser, Jessica places a towel on my face, then did a hydra facial... that was lovely:) then she did some extractions, had a couple more products placed on like the vitamin c and oxygen treatment, lactic acid, and then placed me under an led light to help stimulate collagen growth. After this, I believe she just placed another warm towel (or was this before, sorry... it was relaxing so I didn't pay attention to every detail), and then she lightly patted into my skin some powder sunscreen and a moisturizer. Then I was done! As we walked back to the front desk, she educated me on their Eminence skincare line and even gave me a verbal preview of their new skincare line coming in two weeks. As a first time customer, it's nice to know that they take time in their clientele even to the point of giving us a short reminder as a follow-up for our next facial. Overall, this was a great and relaxing experience. It's slightly pricier than other local facial areas, but one thing is for sure, I felt like it was individualized care. I didn't feel like I was on an assembly line. Jessica was amazing. Loved her "soft hands" and how she took the time to answer my questions and converse on other health topics. We all are just trying to make this world a better place... aren't we?? Lol. Anyway, the next time I come in, I think I'll have the plasma facial. You have to be certified to do this, so she recommend I call Dawn for this to have the service done. I'll have to do a little more research on this. But hey, I suggest everyone does a little more research before shoving topicals in their face or trying out new procedures. Good service that I've learned has been around for about 10 years (if I'm not mistaken). For all of you organic lovers, this is a wonderful place to go to since they offer an organic skincare line. Thanks guys!
