I have had 2 previous experiences with Semipermanent makeup which I was dissatisfied with mostly due to the practitioners way of doing business.I did not feel listened to and felt that they were distracted and unfocused.Additionally I was unhappy with the outcome of the procedure,mainly because both practitioners had their own idea instead of listening to what my goal was.Neither were reliable or particularly professional in their manner. I was referred to Suzanne through a friend.I met her first by consultation.I experienced her to be calm,a good communicator and able to listen to what I wanted. I did not have a good experience. I adore Suzanne but she hardly spent anytime with me and my results show it. I had an appointment with my doctor and when she saw me she said it was terrible. For $1000 Suzanne spent 45 minutes and one eyebrow is one color and the other one is a different color. I know she was in a hurry I wish I had never gone to her. She did eyeliner on my upper and lower lids. I had brought in an eyeliner that I use regularly to show her the color I liked. She made some suggestions based on what I shared and showed me what the liner would look like. I like that Suzanne used a numbing agent as she worked on me. Suzanne was kind, thorough, and did a wonderful job with my eyebrows. I have trichotillomania, a hair pulling condition, and therefore don't have natural eyebrows. Having my brows tattooed on (and looking great) helps me feel confident and eliminates the work of having to draw/glue them on every day. I had to post the photo of one of my 2 double winged eyebrows that I am now stuck with for life. I went to Suzanne after hearing how professional she was. I went to have her fix a problem I had that was doable but she decided to also change the shape of my brow. Problem was she added a wing without thinking things through. Though she assured me it was possible that she could to get rid of a 25 year old dark colored tattoo by using flesh colored ink, she was wrong. When I called after the fact, I was ignored, then treated with such a cold indifference then shut down. I made an appointment with someone else, and was told that the only way to get 25 year old dark ink off was to have it laser removed but that couldn't be done because Suzanne covered mine with flesh colored ink and that this would turn the whole area darker. I have found a great woman, Michelle Whiteside in San Rafael, who was able to do a lot to make things better and my eyebrows look great in the area that needed fixing but I now have 2 wings that are going to be with me forever. I was not reimbursed for this disaster, or anything. BEWARE! The reputation does not match the work. Another lady who walked in after me wondered why I didn't have a natural brush stroked look which Suzanne said she did. What a nightmare! read more

Suzanne was the third permanent makeup professional I interviewed and am so glad I had my eyebrows done with her. During my consult I was impressed by how clean and neat her office is, her patient and detailed explanation of the process, timing, cost and the shape she pencilled my brows. The actual work is quite good. I like the results. BUT...very weak on business skills. You come when she tells you, no flexibility on scheduling. She quoted me a price, then charged me $50 more--explained that the price INCLUDED one additional visit three weeks after the work to make any adjustments--and the 3 week appointment was again set by her, no flexibility. When I called to cancel my check up visit a few hours before because of a last minute change in my work schedule, she was shockingly rude. Her response was personal ("It's pretty bad of you to say you are coming and then to cancel. I'm not obligated to give you any courtesy call to remind you. You're wasting my time, I can't fill this hour") and unprofessional ("I have a 48 hour cancellation fee and I'm going to charge you for this"). To the proprietress: These things happen and there was no need to be a rude b****. That was immature and unprofessional. And yes, cancellation charges are very normal, but how do you justify charging me for cancelling an appointment that I paid for in advance? I didn't "waste" your time, you got paid in advance for an hour of your time that I didn't use. You profited, you didn't lose. I suggest that next time you think before you speak. You could have had a good reference. read more
