I always want to like this place. I live just a short walk from Prim and each time I stop in I'm always hopeful for something that will work for me. The store front is so cute & inviting, it always draws me in. Unfortunately the store just doesn't ever seem to have the merchandise, or customer service that I'm hoping for. It seems like who ever is buying for this store is buying for tall, larger women and I'm just average height, size small. I've talked with friends who've had the same experience there. Also, the customer service there is sub-par. The women working there seem to be quite pretentious and slow to help. With the experiences I've had at Prim, I'd rather drive 20 mins to a boutique I won't name in Danville and easily find something that fits with help from genuine, down to earth people. read more

I was super excited about this cute little boutique with such cute clothing. A few months later, $50 neckless just snapped in half. Clothing started to unravel. I bought 3 shirts, skinny pants, a skirt and a few pieces of jewelry. My black pants are faded and the seems are white now so I have to color them with a sharpy. My shirt began to ball up and it's not a sweater. Tie on my shirt is frayed. I'm most bummed about the necklace though. Well, if you are looking for something cute to wear to an event and you don't care if you wear it again after spending $100, then go ahead. I'm sure you'll look fab. But, I found this place to be WAY overpriced for the quality. I won't shop here again. Seriously, target may have better quality and that's not saying much. read more

Cute store & friendly staff. I like a lot of their home accessories. Good prices on scarves and other accessories, but a lot of the clothes seem to be a bit overpriced. Stay away from their purses and wallets, I've bought both and within a month, they were falling apart. I retuned the purse within the first month of purchasing because the strap completely fell apart, and I was given a little attitude about returning. I thought they should have been a bit more understanding and apologetic. read more

Wow! super cute clothes at a reasonable price, and AMAZING customer service. I have walked by this place so many times, and window shopped. I just assumed they would be like every other boutique on Main st. .. (overpriced and a tad bit snooty). Not this place!! It has a shabby chic elegance, great location, unique, stylish apparel, & the staff was all smiles! I walked out with a super cute dress for $56... and intend to go back soon for more! read more

Absolutely, love the new Prim location in downtown Los Gatos. Fantastic customer service! The owner Missy is so professional and her entire staff are always ready to help you find the perfect size. Cute store with friendly staff. I was initially really excited about all the clothes I bought here, but I just washed, on gentle w/ cold water, my super cute long sleeve cover up and it shrank from a small, to extra extra small. I followed the tags instructions, but after looking up more on this fabric, I found that it does best dry cleaned due to the delicate elasticity. I'm hoping they will exchange it for another but am doubtful since it's a small store. read more

This is my new favorite store, and I'm so glad they are in downtown Pleasanton (the bf lives here, so I'm here all the time). They have cute and stylish clothes, but without being overly trendy, because they also have a lot of basic things like tank tops in a variety of colors. You can tell the owner really put a lot of thought into decorating the store and making everything easy to find. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the prices are fairly reasonable. I mean, they're not target or old navy prices, but still, for being a cute boutique store, they're impressive prices. I'll be coming back here again and again :) read more

I visited this place yesterday just on a whim, it's the absolute cutest boutique I've visited thus far anddd it's just in my backyard. :) The store its self, the way it's design is so cute and adorable. But of course the clothing, very very very cute pieces that are definitely one of a kind. The fam and I racked up on some good finds here. I needed to get something for my wife because I forgot about her bday. (typical move on my part.) So I stopped by Prim because thats where my car was getting its oil changed and I was in a rush. this couldn't have worked out better. Marrisa the store owner personally took the time to assist me in figuring out a total last minute home run purchase of a dazzling cocktail dress my wife absolutely adored. I had no clue what I was doing so I really needed this level of expertise. Problem is, my wife instantly sniffed out that there was no chance on Earth I did this on my own and so my story of driving to San Francisco to scour the shopping district was instantly shot down and I was busted. This is a very cute store with nice service. Everyone I was with bought something when we were here. I could see the selection being hit or miss though, as the quality and sizing of the clothes vary piece from piece. Prices are very reasonable. read more

I visited this boutique over the weekend. Did not receive the warm welcome as other customers have stated in their reviews. No one greeted me, no one made eye contact. Nothing. Cute place with hit or miss priceing. The girl working the counter was very nice and helpful. The clothing and accessories are really trendy and cute. I regret not buying their adorable hair bows. A lot of plain over sized shirts which was exactly what I was looking for. I bought a baggie long sleeve shirt that I love! The martial is so soft and its really comfy! Wow I love this little boutique! Creative Bohemian high quality trendy but not junky clothes. Friendly but not pushy staff, always something new to check out. Fair prices. Until I discovered Prim a few months ago I was a 100% online shopper. Now I love checking out their inventory to see what's new. I always get compliments on the items I get from Prim. AMAZING clothes, accessories, prices, and customer service! I instantly fell in love with the boutique, especially after Missy became the new owner! Prim is my new fav! I stopped shopping at the mall months ago, I was tired of wearing the same clothes as everyone else and getting lousy customer service. LOVE that I can shop at Prim and know that I will be the only one rockin my cute clothes, along with all my other fellow Prim shoppers. Customer Service- Missy, Scott and Cory are not only so helpful with the latest fashion trends, but they are truly so down to earth. When I'm shopping at Prim (which is often), I feel as though I'm shopping in a girlfriends closet. They are extremely personable and so honest with their customers. They have taken the time to get to know me and my fashion likes/dislikes.....no other boutique would go that extra mile for a costumer. I love shopping, chatting, joking, and telling stories with them, makes shopping that much more fun! They have NEVER made me feel pressured to buy anything, Ive always felt so welcomed by them!! Clothes, Accessories, and prices- By far the cutest clothes and for such great prices! Prim always has such a variety to chose from, colors, sizes, styles, you name it! Its hard to leave with just one thing :) Love that the manikin's are always styled to perfection. Each time I walk in, I usually want 80% of the merchandise haha. Missy always has the boutique clean and well stocked! Rewards/Return Policy-I am loving the rewards system, nothing brings me great joy than to be able to shop and to have a % given back to me to use the following month! And the return policy is great! Missy is so awesome with exchanges/returns policy, Ive NEVER had a problem with it and they are always so accommodating. No returns only exchanges but TRUST ME you'll be back for more anyways :) Its funny when I say I'm going shopping, my boyfriend knows I'm going to shop at Prim! Hahaha he now refers to my addiction as "Prim-ing". I LOVE it!!! But, it's not just for Anthro fans, there's a lot of unique, fun modern pieces - like the tunic / dress I bought today that's much more city than country. I stumbled upon this place while taking my daughter to see Santa Claus. I love downtown Pleasanton for all of the little shops and boutiques. However, boutiques have a way of being pretty pricy. Not this place. I've been back a couple times since. The prices are amazing and the pieces are all unique and modern. The quality of the fabric is not too high, but it is not awful either. I'm sure cuts had to be made somewhere in order to have competitive prices for such great items. I found the aesthetic of the clothes to be similar to that of Anthropologie's, which is one of my favorite stores on the planet. This was very exciting to me. I haven't purchased anything here yet, but I will keep coming by. I know there will eventually be something here that I just can't live without! read more

Totally worthy of the 5 stars and more! Prim is the perfect blend of everything a girl loves: CUTE CLOTHES and FURNITURE! Think Anthropology, but better and it won't break the bank. I know the owner and a sales employee who work there. You won't be disappointed, such a friendly staff and a perfect location in Downtown Pleasanton. I bought the cutest scarf there and I will be shopping again. Special note: the furniture is all used materials and recycled wood , so when you buy it you are helping the environment! Every time I stop in, the girls are all super helpful and attentive to my needs. Today I fell in love with a piece of merchandise that wasn't really "for sale." I expected a little more couture from a place that has affordable couture on their sign. I was really hoping to find some semi one of a kind pieces. What I saw was more of stuff I have seen before with the exception of a few things. They did follow through with the affordable part. Price point average is around $40. My style is "tank tops flip flops really nothing fancy" combined with "I'm a little bit country and I'm a little bit rock and roll". There really are not any edgy pieces here and their tank tops were a bit plain. I can see how this store has mass appeal because a lot of the items are very cute and would fit almost all body types. The buyer for this store does a really good job of finding things that could fit a girl with some curves and the same time fit a twig. He/she also has very good taste but it just doesn't fit my profile. I shall swing by every so often but will have my expectations in check. read more
