The presentation of the dish was amazing, very eye catching although the meal is a different story. The rice was dry, roll fell apart and fish was not fresh. Service was alright, lady was very accommodating. Restaurant ambiance was casual and friendly. I would not recommend this place to anyone trying sushi for the first time.

We've ordered takeout before. It's close to where we live but the food is average. I've had better pad Thai and pad see eiw. The Tom kha is decent. My bf claims he ordered the noodle version but we were charged for the one without. We added homecooked some noodles. We also go sesame chicken and the Alaskan roll.

Ive been here a few times and they have never disappointed. That is why it's worth returning to an establishment. The service is friendly and quick. The food has been fresh and satisfying. I went with the 2 Maki Special lunch: Spicy Tuna and Spicy Salmon. Good and filling. My friend ordered the Spicy Salmon Salad which is her go to Fav and by the look of it I may need to try next time!

Really good service and the food is on point! It is a casual little spot in West Rogers Park area. We ordered tom yum, sushi and a thai curry it was very filling!

    Looks right, tastes very wrong.

The five star reviews cannot be real. I cook Thai at home. I've eaten Thai for 25 years. This is the worst Thai food, by far, here in Chicago. The flavors are often either absent or oddly off, nothing tastes "right", and sometimes what you order just isn't what you get. It's near my work so I have kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. But it just isn't Thai food. Don't waste your money.

I have been going to Pride for as long as I can remember. This place never disappoints my group. If you are looking for affordable Thai and Sushi place in west Rogers Park, go to Pride.

Small but nice place. Went there for a mid-week dinner, and it was very quiet. The chicken in the pad see ew wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible, either. (The noodles and sauce were equally unobjectionable.) Chive dumplings were really good. Spicy edamame was also good. Some cute gimmicky sushi on the menu. Free parking on the far side of the street, but paid parking on the side closest to the restaurant. Why? I have no idea. That's the nature of street parking. It doesn't have to make sense. 10% off your bill if you pay in cash, as opposed to credit or debit cards. ETA: I can now also vouch for the dragon sushi and the crab rangoons.

Experience: Restaurant is located within the Rogers Park Neighborhood on a busy street. There are many businesses surrounding Pride and is by a High School and Park. This is my second visit to Pride Sushi and Thai and surely not the last. Staff was super friendly and was served fairly quickly. Price tends to be more towards the expensive, bite definitely worth it depending what you get. Parking: Free street parking is located within the business. Fairly easy to find depending the time you go. Worth: Definitely worth visiting once. I would order the noodle dishes (As pictured below), rather than the sushi. Thai ice tea was good too, just ensure that you ask for little ice. Overall, our waiter was made the visit awesome!

I have been coming here for years or ordering delivery and I haven't been disappointed yet! I love there veggie spring rolls, fried shrimp shumai, panang curry, and Thai fried rice. The service is good to. The Food is delicious and leaves me always feeling happy. Plus this place is walking distance from where I live so that's a plus!

Godzilla maki...it was fine, nothing special...

Took my mom out to eat for Thai food since she likes Thai food. It was a very disappointing dinner...the dishes were small. Usually when we go out to eat Thai food, the portions are much larger and 2 can eat one entree, but not this one. I can eat up the whole plate and feel only 70% full. If u are in a diet, then this is the perfect portion size for you, but for a grown man, you will need an extra serving. The dishes were salty too, it wasn't all that great...

Jenny was our server but as the night continued & it started getting very busy Bonnie (the owner) came out & started helping serving people. We have eaten here before but this is the first time Bonnie made an appearance As usual the food was good w/great size portions. As the night wore on we mentioned that it was my wife's birthday. Bonnie went above and beyond what we ever expected & not only brought out a small birthday cake that was big enough for our party of 8 along with/dishes, utensils & the coolest birthday candle. The birthday candle was a flower that burst open w/the candles lit playing HAPPY BIRTHDAY. This was so cool & unexpected that just brought a level of service above & beyond what you would expect from any restaurant Thank you for a nice ambiance, great food, & service above and beyond anything what is normal. On a side note the candle is still playing Happy Birthday in the living room. HOW DO YOU SHUT IT OFF? LOL

We didn't know you had to reserve the private dining room, so the next time we go we absolutely will. The staff were great and very accomidating. The only think I will say is be careful how you order things. We had ordered a california maki roll, thinking we would get a traditional roll. What we got was the california hand roll, which is different. Both tasted fine, but it is different and we didn't realize our mistake until we got our food.

First of all, the staff are kind, helpful, and perfectly attentive. Thank you for a great dinning experience. Plus, the ambiance of the new location is much more open and welcoming, while also being chic and classy! Finally, prices are so reasonable considering the fresh and high quality ingredients, and the quantify of food! We also love that it is BYOD with an affordable corkage fee. We brought our own Sauvignon Blanc and it was perfect with the sushi. 10/10 would recommend! We ended up getting 4 different sushi rolls and that was perfect! We walked away full and happy as two hungry men! We also were able to get four different types of fish in the sushi rolls, and that is important to us! Delectable flavors, reasonable prices, BYOD, and an elegant dining experience: Ora truly is a fabulous date night and we highly recommend. We look forward to celebrating our next notable life moment at Ora in the near future!

Everything is also very clean! The service is friendly, kind, and attentive. With four sushi chefs working their magic at the sushi bar, the food came out at reasonable speed. Especially with how fresh everything was and how much work some specialty rolls take. The menu is simple and approachable. They have more adventurous options for those like me; and simpler ones for those who just enjoy a simple Spicy Tuna roll. Miso soup = I wish I could convey the smell! A little heavy on the salt, yet very heavy on the flavor with a boatload of umami and a just the right amount of sour. I soon happily abandoned the spoon, grabbed the bowl, and happily gulped down whatever was left! Ahh... something I'd gladly order again, especially as the Chicago winter comes around the corner! Wasabi Tail = one of the more interesting rolls I've had. The fish was plentiful, high quality and made its mark. The veggie accompaniments were great at adding a little freshness, and the vinaigrette added some delectable sweetness and acid. The bacon was subtle, but just slightly there (and didn't hurt anything, for sure!). Seared Salmon Belly Sashimi = an excellent piece of fish, seared perfectly to not burn, and with a very subtle sauce. Perfect! Eel Nigiri = Wow! Just wow! Some of the best eel I've ever had! Fresh, superb quality, not over-sauced, not not microwaved like so many places do! Automatically ordered two more! Salmon Tataki = I wasn't sure if I'd like this one because I am not big into crab. However, my mind is blown three times over! The seared salmon was delightful, and I LOVED that the spicy tuna had a respectable heat! There was just enough cucumber for a little crunch and freshness. Finally, just a perfect amount of sweetness from the sweet soy. As for the crab... I ended up really liking it! Where has Ora been all my life!l?! Finally, one little criticism: while the rice is amazing and fresh, it didn't quite stick together, making the pieces exceptionally delicate. When I tell my friends about my Yelping and rating, many think Yelp allows half stars. Alas, it does not. Though if it did, a lot of those places I awarded five would really get 4.5. However, Ora is one of those rare places that is a five through and through!

The elements of the sauce paired well with the fish combinations. I was very impressed with the quality of the fish, as well as the pairings that they had for the rolls. The rice was not stale, and it was very moist for you to work with. We also ordered the edamame, which was simple yet paired well and it was a good taste while being fresh.
