ADT Security Services - This is what ADT did to my walls. If you look at the top, you'll see two holes where only one was needed. Have they offered to fix it? NO!

They kept trying to renew my contract, crazy!! 0 rating

Your company is just HORRIBLE with UNEDUCATED NONPROFESSIONAL employees!!! ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE WORST....YES, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENTS out there today!!!!!! Yesterday I spent about 40-45 minutes on the phone with "Theresa" concerning my account. 1) Cancel an appointment 2) Refund a piece of equippment that no longer needed, I had ordered it about 2 weeks prior, NEVER opened the box. The agent assured me that my APPOINTMENT was canceled and that I would receive an email with instructions for me to return item to FedEx with an RMA. This morning I woke up to a TEXT that I HAD AN UPCOMING appointment at 8:00???!!!!!????? Then I called in, AGAIN, to ADT and they could not locate ANY of my notes that I had called in a day earlier???!!!!???!!!! Now ADT has wasted about 1.5 hours of MY TIME/LIFE for something I should have been able to do myself online!!! Gonna look for an alternative security company.....after 30++ years of ADT....GOODBYE!

UPDATE 12/10/2024: Not much of an update, but I received an email PDF of the refund today which is…read morejust the $307.47 refund with no detail on what it is. No other communication to, nor any apparent attempts to fix the underlying problem that I've observed or heard about. I've had a business for a bit over 20 years and if this had happened at mine, there'd be an all hands and policy changes to make sure this kind of thing would never happen again. I was going to delete this review if they took responsibility, but they haven't, so I'm just going to leave it here now as a warning to others. UPDATE 11/17/2024: Take a look at the "not recommended" reviews of 5 stars. All with 0 friends or single reviews, and one was posted the same day of my negative review. It does have the optics that those are actually employee reviews, given that they were all posted the same day as other negative reviews as well, and 3 more glowing reviews with no friends and only 1 review that were "removed due to violation of terms of service", added the same day, too! Screen cap of activity attached in case it's removed later. UPDATE 11/15/2024: THEY ADMITTED I WAS OVERCHARGED! After I sent an email two days ago and this morning, clearly outlining I was looking for a refund. At 10:30AM, I received an email from FESC saying I was being refunded $307.47. I have no idea what specifically it's for, as they've not given me any accounting on what "pricing errors" there were. It's more than what I was asking for, but whatever. It took more than a month to resolve, and several emails went unanswered UNTIL I posted the response. The following still remains unresolved: * The individual charges. Yeah, I agreed to them, but they are egregious and FESC didn't provide me any explanation even when asked about the following charges: $8 - Temporary fuel fee. From FESC to my house and back is 16 miles round trip. That amount is double what gas would cost for a round trip. $129.95 - Consumables/Adhesives, etc... I saw the job that was done. There is NO WAY any consumed materials came to even a third of that. $35 - Service dispatch. This is usually where your fuel costs go. But this is the same as a doc fee in the car world (aka cash grab) $94.95 - I'd like to know what "parts" and "staging" and "freight" and delivery costs this much for the tiny repair kit that was used (that was a separate charge). $94.90 - Disposal/cleanup charge. So you threw away a few washers and a few short runs of PVC pipe and this is $95? Had I know this I'd say just toss it in my garbage. We weren't hazmat throwing out methamphetamines or nuclear waste that justifies this high cost. $84.32 - "Equipment fee". Whatever this is. * How many others were affected * What their plan is to rectify the situation for others Based on the above, it is my opinion that they've been overcharging people, they got caught, and tried to not only shirk the responsibility but also the owner attempting to flip it back on me after admitting they overcharged me. You'd think being in business 50 years they'd do better than this. Disappointed 25 + year customer. Buyer beware. ----- This is an exercise in absolutely HORRIBLE customer service, and it just keeps getting worse. Yes, I did approve it. I find it offensive that you're subtly implying that "you agreed to it/you don't get to complain" attitude in your reply after Oleg ADMITTED I WAS OVERCHARGED. His exact quote is as follows, directly from the email he sent me: "We identified an error with several pricing elements and how they are mapped to the invoice generation. Correcting the mapping and using the correct pricing should have resulted in a lower charge for the repair of the backflow. As a result, we will be issuing a credit to your account in the amount of $207.47. You can expect this adjustment to be reflected within the next few business days to use for future use." So how many other people have you been overcharging? I was also told that I wouldn't be charged again for backflow testing and WAS. Oleg said "that's on us", so I'm expecting a refund for both. Instead, he gave me STORE CREDIT instead of crediting my VISA. I don't want store credit. I want a refund on what I was promised and have spent almost 2 months trying to get resolution, here. Bottom line is this: $65 - Backflow test fee (first one you told me I wouldn't be charged for after the repair) $207.47 - The amount FESC has admitted they overcharged me Please let me know when to expect this posted to my VISA. Now I'm happy to email and call you, but this is information you ALREADY HAVE.

I live at an apartment complex in Wilsonville, OR that is reserved for the disabled and is serviced…read moreby First Response Security (FRS). FRS has refused to respond to my calls for service on two separate occasions. On August 17, 2022 at approximately 9:16 p.m. I called FRS and spoke to Megan (dispatcher) about a tenant who had threatened me. I also told her that I wanted an officer to respond and write a report of what occurred. She said she would pass this on to the officer in the area to "see if there was anything they could do." At approximately 9:55 pm I called and followed up with FRS since I had not heard back from them. I spoke to Zach (dispatcher) who informed me that Ryan (watch commander) stated that based on the nature of the incident, they would not respond. I then asked for Ryan to call me and Zach stated that he would pass the message to Ryan, but that if he refuses to call me back, "that will be that". Zach said I should follow up with the property management company or the police department. Having a private security company who does not respond to resident calls for service does not help the residents of this community, who are made up of marginalized and vulnerable tenants. On September 10, 2023 a tenant was seen throwing garbage over the front of the balcony near the front of the apartment complex, including glass. The tenant reportedly broke a window out of his apartment and threatened to do the same to other residents' windows. I called FRS at approximately 10:15 p.m. on this day for help and operator #91 refused to respond noting "officer safety". I asked if her officers were armed and she said that some are, but still refused to dispatch anyone to our complex and informed me to call the police. Residents are informed to call the property's "security team" (FRS) when issues like this arise. However, this is the second time that FRS has refused to respond to my calls for service, yet Cascade Management, Inc. (CMI-property management company) continues to contract with them knowing of this. Additionally, I and other residents have observed the "patrols" FRS claims to do at the property. They consist of FRS pulling up in front of the property and sitting in their marked vehicles for a short amount of time and then leaving. No foot patrols of the property are performed, just as the previous security company did. This complex receives subsidies from HUD; therefore, it is reasonable to assume the subsidies that are collected help pay for FRS services. While I don't know the specifics of the contract between FRS and CMI, if FRS refused to provide a service they are contractually obligated to perform and paid for with government subsidies, it may be considered fraud. I will be reporting these incidents to the HUD OIG and ask them to investigate FSS.
