From the time I walked into the door I was greeted by the nicest staff and felt very comfortable. Everyone I came across was very nice. When I came to pick up my car they even valeted it for me b/c it was pouring rain :) They showed me the 2 filters that they replaced and how dirty they were. No other place I have gone to has done this for me. I dropped the car off and told them I needed an oil change and 2 filters replaced. I also told them to check everything out b/c I was going on a road trip. They took a good look over and said everything look perfect. I needed to bring in a used vehicle for a pre-purchase inspection. I was expecting them to be all booked up coming out of a weekend, and so I was planning to try to make an appointment for later in the week, but they confirmed to my surprise that they could fit me in if I brought it by at a certain time. This place has the best customer service of any place I've ever been. They are always friendly, always honest (a miracle in the auto repair/care industry), and fairly priced. I became a lifetime customer when they made a mistake on my car, and when I called them they sent a mechanic to my house, who then drove me to work, drove back to my house, fixed my car, then picked me up from work. Then they gave me a voucher for a free oil change. Wow, usually car places rip you off, screw up your car, lie to you, and treat you like garbage. These guys are a rare gem amongst dirt clods. Go there instead of flushing an extra $1000 on stuff you don't need at 'insert 99% of car places that you've begrudgingly gone to because you don't know a thing about cars'. read more

There can be away so make sure that you call and make an appointment in advance. I did a rookie mistake by just showing up and they were booked for the day. I went with my 2006 Hyundai Azera, having issues with Check Engine light on due to faulty break switch. The issue triggered a couple of more lights on the dash. **Update** A year in and these guys are still the best. The closest thing to a complaint that I have is that they are not medical professionals and, thus, I cannot go to them for my own check-ups. Only time I have ever been jealous of a car. **Update end** After bringing our Honda to a local Honda dealership to do an inspection to see if our cross-country drive did any damage to the car, we were told that there was a host of issues to address. After getting a quote for each item, my wife and I checked around for prices for similar items (eg AutoMD, etc). Pride Auto Care came up with competitive pricing and, more importantly, stellar Yelp reviews. My wife called to confirm the quotes (it turns out the estimates online were conservative--the actual estimates were even lower) and we made an appointment to bring in the car the following week. Upon arriving, I discovered that we were not on the appointment list. After explaining the situation to Vince, he told me that he'd have a quick look to see if any of the items the dealership had brought up actually needed to be repaired. After a brief thirty minute wait, Vince brought me into the garage and showed each 'problem' to me and concluded that no work needed to be done at this point. He answered each question I had in a friendly manner and had the car back down and ready to drive off quickly. All told, I was in and out within an hour despite not having an appointment and them being booked for the day. I have never had such a friendly, frank, and educational experience as this. After a long time lurking on yelp, I was motivated to write my first yelp review about Pride Auto Care. I've been going here for a couple of years, and these guys seem honest, are professional, and are well-priced. They've quickly given me a ride to light rail a couple times, too. The story that finally prompted the review: My Subaru had some warranty work done on an old repair recently at the dealer, where they informed me my front brake pads were "dangerously low." Leery of the dealer, I scheduled the work to be done at Pride, and at the end of the day, I walked away with what amounted to a free brake inspection. The brake pads have plenty of life left, and Pride charged me nothing. I'm still sort of scratching my head that an auto mechanic presented with an unnecessary but customer-requested job would be this honest. read more

They have helped me twice with an engine check light on my 2002 Toyota Highlander and not charged me. The first time it was all my fault totally. I didn't close the gas cab tight enough. But the second time we couldn't find a definite problem. Could have been loose wire hook-up in the engine or something. Still they didn't charge me. They had to spend time on the car both times, their time which wasn't cost effective either time for them. Thank you Pride Auto. This little old lady really appreciated your help. Phil at Pride Auto Care just saved me $1,000! It's true. I initially took my Volvo SUV to the dealership for it's free oil change and they "discovered" I needed new front brake pads/rotors, back pads, and a new brake vacuum pump because it was "leaking oil". I questioned the back brakes issue as I had just replaced them less than a year ago and the vacuum pump was even more confusing as I had never seen a drop of oil on my garage floor or sensed any brake fade. The dealer's response was vague on the severity of the leak but expressed a need to "replace" the pump at $600. After talking to a second dealership repair tech, he mentioned that they could actually reseal it instead of replace it. So......I began my internet search for the highest rated service shop near Highlands Ranch. I found Pride Auto Care and worked with Phil whose integrity and technical knowledge stood out. He inspected my car and said that I still had at least a year left on my rear brakes and had no "leak" in my brake pump. He said there is a big difference between "leakage and seepage" and there was definitely no oil leak. Instead of spending $1,400 at the dealer, I spent $400 with Pride Auto Care replacing my front rotors and pads only. They now have a customer for life! read more

Set an appointment for my timing belt and an oil gasket to be replaced on my MDX. Dropped it off at 7AM , they called back at 8:30 to suggest a couple of other repairs. At 9:30, I asked them to just do the timing belt and the oil gaskets. I called at 5:30 later that day and they told me I would need take their very old truck over the weekend. I could careless about the beater truck, but I'm a Realtor and very old trucks aren't best for that scenario. Took the vehicle in on a Friday morning and then got it back Mon, just before closing. The work that was done was done well, thus the 3 stars. However, my time is just important and I wasn't impressed with what was accomplished on that Friday. Just took it today and they provided an estimate of $2900 for some new fixes. They charged $121 for the diagnostic. I asked them to waive that cost based on the poor experience last time, but that request was denied. read more

I was scrolling through Yelp to find a auto repair shop that could fix my A/C knob. I went here because of the high rating. Right off the bat, the waiting area looks great and the staff are very friendly. After a couple hours waiting, they fixed my knob, but sadly it broke right after the visit because the string wasn't very strong and I pulled on turned it to fast. However, they told me to bring the car back in and fixed it for no charge. I've been coming here ever since to get oil changes and to fix my car whenever a problem arises. Rather than charging me for an alignment they said the alignment was fine and only charged me to check the alignment. They didn't try to sell me any other services I didn't need. Kudos to Chris Aquina working diligently to get my daughter's vehicle in for a pre purchase inspection by an ASE mechanic. She was picking the vehicle up from a nearby car dealership and I had an appointment with Firestone to do the inspection. But when I called Firestone to confirm 2 hours before my daughter was to arrive I found they had no ASE mechanic there like they told me they had. So I told firestone to forget it and started looking up auto service ratings in YELP. Pride popped up with a lot of good reviews so I called and Chris took the call. I figured I had no chance to get the car in for inspection on short notice at a busy business, but I told Chris my predicament and he told me to have my daughter bring it in. As it turned out, I had some last minute issues with the dealer that prevented a deal that day and l had to call Chris and cancel. Next day we got things back on track with the dealer so I again called Chris on short notice and again he was able to accommodate us. Thanks Chris for your extra extra effort.
