They're honest and very helpful in providing information regarding pest control. No pushy sales.

They do not show up, but still charge you. My property is gated and the only access to interior and our backyard is through the house. Five months in a row they did not enter my property, but still charged us for interior and exterior treatment which was never done. I had to complain multiple times, but they continued to do bill $160/mo without doing the treatment. Owner is a nice guy but unable to train his dishonest staff. read more

Hard review for me to leave as the owner John is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Which is why I still have them for our yard service... but... I feel that this review is necessary to warn others. My 1st experience w their yard service was horrid. The guy came, I started showing him the problems, the weeds etc... & he actually ended up walking away as I was talking to him, and he left. So... there's that. John the owner was genuinely apologetic, and he came to my house personally, we walked the yard & he said he was sending out a different guy, as the 1st one he sent was "overwhelmed".. ooook.. so I gave it another shot. 2nd guy was nice but, he always made me feel awful about my yard! We had an issue with our irrigation system & were trying to get that fixed, but every time he came, he almost shook his head, & mind you... it's been RAINING every single day, & when it wasn't, I was hosing the yard down. He even said it was pointless for him to spray one time, bc it's not going to do anything to help. Ok. Irrigation is fixed, I called and they sent a different guy. He was nice but... seemed like he was in a hurry, & regardless of what I showed him, told him, he came to spray w whatever he had, wasn't changing it, and that's that. Here I am today... I've seen 3 different types of mushrooms growing, 75% of my yard is strictly weeds, and there are ants all over my kids playground, with the mushrooms surrounding it... Also, new sod we had put in has completely died, & my lawnmower had to tell me we had "the bug", and we had to pay him to put down a special pesticide to kill the bug so our grass can come back. What the hell am I paying for? The problem initially was me wanting them to rid my yard of bugs and ants for my girls to play in the yard. Then the weeds started, & I thought "ok, these guys will handle it"... my yard seems to have gotten worse since having this service. I just called to cancel, and had to leave a message, they didn't answer. I am now looking for a reputable pest;yard service company bc this has been a pretty bad experience. As said; John the owner is so kind, & I'm appreciative of his service to his customers. It just doesn't seem to go down the chain AT ALL. read more

A realtor from Caldwell Banker recommended this company and their service for cleaning out lizard droppings was $2000.00 in an attic. First of all our feelings were that they look at the house to determine what they could afford then slap a "Price". This company was very disappointing for their findings and their cost to sweep out lizard droppings.I would NOT recommend them to do any remedial work or inspections. read more

We hired this company after experiencing issues with another company . As far as pest control things were good , but I would not recommend this company for lawn fertilization and weed control . We are looking for another company currently . We did reach out but they refused to take responsibility for the problem . Our lawn after being sprayed continually for crab grass destruction just continued to die off . I write this review so you will consider using someone else to care for your lawn before you hire them . I want to repeat myself . They did respond to my issue but did not take responsibility . We had a bug problem for long time so we called these guys. They were phenomenal at getting rid of the roach and ant problem that we had... It has been a long time since they were here, and we are thankful that they didn't just put a bandaid on the problem. They truly took care of it. I woulnd't trust anybody else... When I used other pest control in the past they had to come out regularly. With Price Pest Control it seems to get done right. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. read more

We had a rodent mystery problem and John From Price was determined to see it through to the end. We are snowbirds and had to leave Florida early this past winter. John worked with our property manager, plumber and handyman after we were gone to find the uncapped pipe behind a wall where they were coming into the house. He then set traps and went back several times a week to catch any critters that were trapped within the walls. After three weeks, we are "all clear". John cleaned the mess that has been accumulating for some time. He communicated with us frequently and made sure the problem was solved. We also use Price for our quarterly outside insect spraying. I have been a loyal customer of theirs for 20 years. They raised their prices $54.00/year for yearly termite control. Now $179.00. They sent me a renewal bill. I didn't call their office to make an appointment for my yearly treatment, usually they would just come out to the house and knock on the door. They never called, never wondered where their 20 year old customer went. Even if I would reconsider, I would never call them again. They now lost a loyal customer for life. This is not how to treat a loyal customer. I think it was pretty crappy to not even acknowledge us, maybe a phone call saying; we were wondering if you forgot to pay the bill, etc. no, nothing. read more

My initial call to Price Pest Control was because I found little black bugs in one of my kitchen cabinets. Danny came to my house on 5/9/19 & told me they were "pantry pests" that usually enter the home in pasta boxes. They multiply but only live for 2 days. He said to dispose the source (so I threw out all boxes of pasta) & told me to wipe the shelves down with vinegar & water. Nothing was done inside my home. He treated the exterior foundation of my home with a hand held sprayer. That visit was $125.00. There were a lot of ants in the grass and around my property so Danny suggested I have my entire yard sprayed. I had to sign a one year contract to get that done, $65.00 every 2 months. Today (5/16/19) a truck showed up at my house around 9am and the service tech told me he was there to spray my property. I have 6 dogs and 3 cats that are always in my fenced-in back yard. The office did not call in advance to tell me a technician was coming. I scrambled to get my pets inside. I told the technician that there was a birds nest in the big bush around the only palm tree in my front yard. I asked him not to spray that bush. He said he wouldn't spray it then he walked right over to it and sprayed it! I'm not talking about a hand-held sprayer. The truck mounted sprayer had the force of a fire hose. The mother bird flew out of the bush and the babies got saturated with chemical spray. The 3 baby birds are dead. Needless to say I will never allow Price Pest Control back onto my property.
