First off, the bad reviews are fake as a three dollar bill. Obviously those reviewers are only here to try and get business. PLEASE READ BELOW: O'Hara Pest Control is THE ONLY company that was able to COMPLETELY get rid of the worst thing I've experienced: Bed Bugs. I can honestly say that every other Pest Control service failed. Even my HOA did not have the know-how to successfully clean my home, PERMANENTLY. By some miracle I ended up choosing O'Hara to lead the way after many failed attempts by other Major Corporations. Very thorough company. Alex, the owner, challenges himself to find the cause of the ants/bugs and he treats the root or the home of the ants - not just the ants themselves. We live in a lake and were infested with all different kinds of ants when we moved in last year, but one visit from Ohara ans they were immediately gone! We now have once a month maintenance to keep them away forever. If I call them Inbetween monthly services because I see bugs - they don't charge and have always been friendly. I did not have to sign any monthly or yearly contract either which gives me piece of mind that they are confident in their job. My only advice is to let them know immediately if you want it by appointment only as they do tend to just show up without scheduling. This definitely was an issue for us at first. We like to be home when they spray to make sure that they not only treat the outside, but touch up the inside as well. Since I began to use Ohara - several of my neighbors have hired them as well. We recently switched to O'Hara Pest Control for our home from Nozzle Nolen. Not only has O'Hara provided, what I believe to be, fantastic service; They are also significantly more affordable! Don't get me wrong, Nozzle Nolen was not terrible, but I felt that the service was lacking a certain "attention to detail" that I was seeking. Additionally, what pushed me to make the switch was when we had developed a Rodent problem in our attic and Nozzle Nolen was about $850 to fix it. Alex, with O'Hara Pest Control, came in at less than half of that. Plus, their customer service is IMPECCABLE! If I ever happen to notice an issue in the house with bugs, rodents...etc. I just call their office and they usually have a Technician out THE SAME DAY to take care of it. We switched from Hewlett (3-4 years with them) who was treating white fly and general lawn maintenance to O'Hara Pest Control, who is now treating our lawn and Ficus bushes; we could not be happier. Alex is very passionate about the work he does and his team has that same passion. They do call you prior to coming to your house which we prefer. O'Hara recently treated a honey bee issue we were having; the response and support along with good follow up made the process of treating the bees very comforting; yes they now live somewhere else. I have been with O'Hara pest control for about a year now. I am thoroughly pleased with the service. We live in a condo and have a neighbor above us who was overrun with ants and roaches; he refused to ever do anything about it. His infestation became our infestation. I purchased a house in Tamarac about four years ago. It was a fixer-upper including the hedges, lawns and sprinkler system. I was so fortunate to stumble across O'Hara. They met with me evaluated the condition of my property and gave me my options. Dealt with different pest problems both inside and outside my property. I'll spare the details, but it grew at an alarming rate. O'Hara scheduled an emergency visit and acted on the problem immediately. The exterminators were really informative and explained both their treatment methods and hazards. I use them to fertilize my yard and for all pest control needs, they are friendly, professional and simply the best.
