Comfort italian food. Recommended and would keep coming back for easy italian food. Taste good as expected and price point was good as well. Cheers!

So we decided to go here for a quick bite before our night out. We got seated pretty quickly, even though the restaurant was quite full. After a while, a waitress asked us what we wanted, I then asked for the menu (I was very tempted to ask her if I could play tennis but I thought that it would be better to be pleasant). She quickly brought us the menu and asked us if we wanted drinks/ starters and then asked what we wanted for mains - I don't think she understood we hadn't seen the menu before. She gave is a bit more time whilst putting our drinks and starters order through. Then came another waitress to take our order for our mains. I thought it was a bit peculiar that we kept on seeing different waiting staff and I told her we had already put an order for our drinks and starters. Then came the drinks, followed closely with our starters. So far, so good. Feeling a bit rushed but ok. A third waitress was then carrying our mains whilst we had just started our starters. She realised this and took the dishes back to the kitchen. Once we finished our starters, the empty dished are collected (before I even finished chewing on my last bite) and she promptly brought our mains. And guess what - they had been waiting in the kitchen. Therefore arrived cold. I told her straight away and she took 2 out of 3 of them back to the kitchen - and didn't ask about the 3rd one or didn't even leave any time for my partner to say anything. Our original waitress had a conversation with the 2nd waitress as she hadn't inputted our order for our main correctly on their system. To her defence, she was explaining how to do it properly to her colleague to avoid any similar situations in the future. Then our mains came back. Clearly just microwaved. The leaves on top of our gnocchis looked very sad, the pesto had splattered on the side of the plates, and more importantly the gnocchis now had a rubber like consistance. What a shame, they looked so nice on the picture!! I had one, but couldn't eat more - i don't like tasteless rubbery stuff. When the waitress came to take our plates away, she asked me if I wanted a fresh plate or something else from the menu which i declined. She went to get her manager and explained the situation to him. He offered me the same thing, and an extra drink. I also refused (and did so in a very polite and calm manner, i did not want to create a scene nor wanted any extra attention). When he brought our bill, he had taken my dish and the side vegetables away, which was a nice gesture. Overall, it was quite a disappointing experience as I couldn't eat my food!! There are some issues to be sorted: waiting staff need to be trained properly and so does the kitchen staff! However, there is a lot of good will and most people want the customers to have a pleasant experience.

Before sitting in on a BBC radio recording across the street, we headed here for supper. The restaurant is huge and surprisingly quiet, you cannot hear the busy street at all. The service was lovely and our food was quite delicious. They had a few seasonal specials too which were fantastic. I was a bit annoyed that the tables were so incredibly close to each other. However, we still enjoyed our evening meal here.

Very nice restaurant just by euston station. Was greeted by a member of staff and shown to our table. We ordered prosecco cocktails and tap water. For my main i ordered lasagna and garlic bread. It was very nice. The portion was large and i couldn't finish it. I ordered a side of garlic bread. It was enough for me but for the size it was abit over priced at £4.25. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant and toilets were very clean. Would go again when im in london. Beats the usual m&s sandwich i would usually buy

Eaten here a few times. It's a chain. It's a perfectly acceptable pizza. Nothing to write home about. Nothing memorable. Nothing objectionable. Reminds me of Ford Prefect's pithy summary of the planet earth - 'Harmless' (look it up, kiddies). I will be back when I'm in the neighbourhood of this or another branch but I wouldn't die in a ditch for a meal here.

Got the gravy on the side, didn't think I'd use all of it, before I knew it, it was all gone. And you wouldn't think that the type of mash or type of gravy or type of sausage would matter that much, but they really do all have distinct flavors! I will be mixing mustard into my mashed potatoes from now on. Originally came for the sticky toffee pudding, so of course we ended with that. Marvelous! The toffee sauce is so comforting and rich, the cake was so moist, and it was perfectly balanced with the ice cream. Didn't detect any dates, maybe they were too finely chopped. Also the apple and blackberry crumble just didn't hit the same; it was slightly dry and on the sour side (maybe don't take a bite directly after the pudding!) Service was so helpful and friendly; I'm sure they love watching people fall in love with their food. Quick with refills and offered extra condiments if needed. Great air conditioning as well (always a plus), and I loved the green blacksplash and blackboard caligraphy on the walls as well. Bangin'

The pudding was sweet, soft, and warm, pairing perfectly with the silky pudding and cold vanilla ice cream.

My wife actually booked dinner reservations in advance for Ye Old Cheshire Cheese, it was one of a few we did that for rather than just popping in. For some of these, Cheshire included, it isn't a bad idea if you want a full meal to do so as it gives you a table in a dining area that is quieter than the More raucous areas of the pub and guarantees you plenty of elbow room to dine. Every pub has fish and chips, and we had our share of it during our 8+ day trek, but my wife swears by this place as having the absolute best. I'd likely agree with that--we both had the traditional fish, chips, peas platter and every bite was great. We had a few slices of sourdough to hold us over while waiting for those plates. My wife had a bit of wine, and I tried a lager, lower ABV ale, and a pour of scotch opting for their "house" scotch. The spirits/beer menu was the same I saw used at a couple of what I think must be "sister" pubs all using the same distilleries and brewers. We were too full to try dessert. Service was friendly. Not sure if it was the vintage of my scotch or her wine, but price-wise this was by far our priciest pub visit in the area and I can't quite point my fingers at why, but I don't regret our meal and time here. As for historic interest, you can find pictures and placards of many of the pubs famous patrons from history--Dickens, Mark Twain on visits to London, etc. A first edition of a Dickens' book adorned a post by our table.

A really great way to try their variety of meats. First, the portion was absolutely huge - I definitely appreciated how much vegetables there were, the roasted brussels and carrots were delicious. Sides were all good - including the roasted potatoes and yorkshire pudding. The star was the meat of course, my favorite ended up being the lamb which was super tender and flavorful. Loved the crispy pork rind that comes with the pork roast slices and the gravy and sauces on the side really rounded out the meal, added a ton of flavor and made it fun to try the different sauces with the variety of meats.
