I come here often and my kids love the pretzels. Came in today (Saturday 5pm) and there were 3 employees. One came from the back and put on a fresh set of gloves but didn't acknowledge me. There was someone at the register and the other making pretzels. The one at the register counted cash from the customer and gave cash with gloves on. Then instead of changing the gloves proceeded to grab the inside of my cups before putting pretzels in them. I'm grossed out. What's the point of gloves if you're going to cross contaminate with cash? The girl in the middle could be the one grabbing the food while the register lady handles cash transactions. read more

The food was amazing here. There was no indoor tables but that's fine. There is plenty of outside tables. The service was amazing we got our food really fast! It was also cheap. The lady helping us get our food was really nice. If you ever stop my the Monterey bay I honestly recommend this place (the Parmesan pretzel bites are my favorite. The staff was super friendly! The food smelt super fresh and looked really good, it was my first time going in and I got the small salted pretzel bites, my boyfriend got the mini hotdog bites. The staff made it super easy for us to get in and out with our food in just a minute or two and it tasted just as good as it smelt. Would recommend!!! read more

This place really rocks if you are hungry and want a quick treat. The staff are awesome and I really appreciate their quick service. I went for hot dog in a pretzel. It was filling but the pretzel could have had a little less heat to it. Then I topped it off with tiny pretzels with salt in a cup. Hot pretzels were scrumptious. Really filled me up fast. I think Wetzel's Pretzels is a little better. But, Del Monte only has pretzel time. I stopped by around 1pm and EVERYTHING HAF BEEN FRESHLY MADE. I sampled a little hot dog pretzel, it was ok. I got a large "everything" pretzel and some mini cinnamon sugar pretzels. The cup for the minis didn't have a hole to vent, so they deflated and became a little limp. Womp womp. So I came across this crack in the wall at the local outlet mall and it turned out they sold pretzels. And not just your average pretzels either, they have ranch, everything, average, and hot dog pretzel bites. The people selling the pretzels were quick as a jackrabbit in any given day assuming both of his legs work. I got the everything pretzel which actually doesn't have everything but rather just a lot of tasty seasonings. The ranch pretzel had the launch powder on it which worked out very well. pretty neat place, they make their pretzels fresh and you can see them making it through to window. the salted pretzel bites are good, maybe a bit too salty but it's still good. i didn't really like the cheese sauce though, it tasted pretty artificial like the ones in nachos. adding a dipping sauce is $1.25, which is a bit overpriced for a sauce in my opinion. overall this is a good place to come when you are craving pretzels! read more

This place has really good pretzels. I have never had a bad (hard) pretzel. There menu includes the normal pretzel toppings along with pretzel bites, pretzel dog, and mini pretzel dogs (new item). They have recently added smoothies to their drink list which are quite tasty. Full of sugar but tasty. As far as freshness, I've talked with some of the workers and they regularly change out the pretzels so that they have fresh pretzels all the time. This has to be the best pretzel place in the Monterey/Salinas area. Hands Down read more

This is definitely my favorite spot for snacks --or dinner lol--at Del Monte Center. Nothing like a fresh-baked soft buttery pretzel with an iced cold lemonade. I love to dip my bites in cream cheese and nacho cheese. Their specialty pretzels are super delish. The Caramel Crunch is one of my faves and the combo of baked almonds and caramel just hits the sweet spot. A worthy calorie bomb! My co-worker turned me on to this one when we used to work at Del Monte Center many eons ago and gorge on habit-forming pretzels, Starbucks and Chipotle. First observation is this store is tiny!! Three people were working and only one was tending to customers which made the wait 15 minutes. My son and I were finally helped by Ariana who was extremely rude, no smile, zero professionalism and unfriendly. My son asked for cheese to which she asked which one, my son didn't know what kinds were offered so he said yellow cheese she very rudely replied they are both yellow. I stepped in and said why don't you educate your customer on what types of cheeses you offer instead of replying the way you did. To which she gave me the good ol teenager eye roll. Ugh kids!! This place is really small beside Body and Bath shop (?), but you will see it right away because there is always a little line outside. Also, my friends used to work here, which she gave me little more than the usual. Furthermore, all the time the service is the best which they always gives you a smile and asks if we need anything. Their pretzels are so warm and chewy, which tells me it is freshly baked and didn't stay there for a long time. I always get a small sized salted pretzel with cream cheese sauce. I have never tried something new here because I don't like the sausage around the pretzel, or maybe I will try it out :) I definitely recommend that you try it! read more

so i went in about 30 minutes ago and got small salted pretzel bites for $5.00 which i thought was kinda ridiculous since the cup wasn't even a common standard "small" size and i was walking to go sit down and i set the cup down, it was not steady so as i turned around they were all in the ground even before i could take a bite. this is because the cup was dented and it tipped over. the workers saw that they were all over the floor and i went in a asked if i could get some more because i just payed for them and now they are all gone and she said no, in a very rude tone. i thought this was completely disrespectful since i already payed MY money and they wouldn't even let me get anymore. so they basically robbed me.
